Just brought my puppy home on Sunday and she ended up getting sick prior to her scheduled "first visit". I called Armadale and they got me in same day to get her all fixed up! The team was so attentive and caring! Very excited I chose this vet.

Need at least five more stars !! Referred after a really horrendous experience with another local Veternary clinic. Had to take my Lab to NC State emergency hospital on referral of my friend and vet in Florida when I called him for advice, he contacted someone there that he knew personally. Did so immediately but very unfortunately the time lapse to treat his condition was too late and didn't get to bring him home. Inquired for a Vetenary reference since we had recently moved here from Florida. Dr Walker @ Armadale was the recommendation and was there the next day with an appointment for my other two Labs (one Harley's sibling). Some eleven years later and several visits for the miscellaneous medical needs and checkups, I am convinced there is no better animal hospital on the planet! That includes the entire staff of doctors and office workers, simply amazing! A few years ago Dr Walker performed major surgery on 'Scooter' (Harley's sibling) to remove a large cancerous tumor and done so very successfully! There's more, a lots more actually but want to share that in 2013 I rescued a Boxer / Pit mix that was super abused and needed pretty much the medical gamete including infestation of heart worms. This is 2018 and 'Bouncer' is a happy and thriving member of our family along with our other lab 'Buddie' that will be fifteen on Jan 4th 2019. Dr Walker and his staff truly care about the health of your pets and no one will do a better job to care for them, NO ONE !!JT Thomas

I had been taking my dog to this location for over 7 years due to location and living in the area. I was willing to overlook the relatively rude comments made a regular basis because I felt that my pet was receiving decent treatment. However, the last two trips made to this location I felt that the treatment was a danger to my dogs health when they were willing to treat her and that their documentation was sub par if best. They continued to inquire as to whether I was bringing in my cat which had been put down at this location over 2 years ago. Very displeased. Will never return.

The staff was friendly helpful, some of the best care and concern I ever had! For one word wonderful!But the vet was an impatient, forceful and finally nasty man! I was there 1 1/2 hours and he said "he did NOT HAVE TIME FOR MY DOG." I should go somewhere else."He was visibly pushy and upset I did not have complete records for my dog's life.I have moved and things have been left behind however, a professional health care provider does NOT REFUSE CARE TO A HUMAN. They trust your verbal history and go from their, professionally with good health examination and trained knowledge.He was busy and did not want to allow his long term patients to wait longer.They with top line breeds and rich cars in the lot. It's about the money money money.He Just ran me out the door like I was insignificantly. And that's how I felt.Three of his assists had cared for my pet with kindness and thoughtfulness. But isn't it strange my pet got visibly confused and scared when Dr Walker tried to approach him, could it have been because I was broken down totally in tears and confusion.

I just picked up my pitt mix after being gone over two weeks. Once again, this farm is THE BEST place I've ever left him to. Every single staff person knew his name and a couple had stories to tell me about it. It's clean, with room to roam and each animal looks tended to and happy, including mine. He normally runs to me when i return, this time he just continued to play with the staff. It's clear everyone there is an animal person and they love what they do. For me, that's invaluable.

I switched to Armadale Animal Hospital a few years ago and I am so glad I did. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable as compared to other local vet offices. Recently, I learned from an after-hours ER vet that our dog needed surgery to remove a large mass. Armadale arranged for a board certified surgeon to do the surgery at almost half the cost I was quoted by two specialty practices. Dr. Walker and his staff patiently walked me through the process with nothing but kindness, empathy, and professionalism. They have earned my loyalty, and I highly recommend Armadale Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a great veterinarian practice.

We can't say enough good things about the staff at Armadale Animal Hospital and Dr. Novak's team! We started going to them when I got my puppy Lilo back in 2015 at the time we lived in Raleigh so it was really convenient location for us since then I've gotten engaged and moved to Fuquay and we still drive up to North Raleigh to see Dr. Novak because she is simply the best! Lilo had a lot of problems as a puppy with her stomach she was constantly getting sick and having diarrhea Dr. Novak was very patient with us while we tried several options until we came up with a solution (royal canon gastrointestinal dog food) that worked well for Lilo and I've have a happy healthy puppy ever since! We will continue making the commute to keep going to this awesome office!

I've been to many vets in many states over many years, and Armadale is by far the best animal hospital I've ever been to. The entire staff is amazing and truly caring, and they only want what's absolutely best for their patients and their human families. We have been seeing Dr. Walker, who goes out of his way to discuss his cases with clients, even when their pets end up having to go to a specialist or after-hours emergency. He reached out to us on both occasions when our animals were critical and at 24-hour care, and he clearly cares more than most doctors (animal or human) about his patients, who really are like family. Your pets will be the luckiest in the universe to be treated by these wonderful people. Thank you thank you thank you for all you do, Dr. Walker and the super Armadale Animal Hospital staff!

I have been fortunate enough to be the pet-parent of my little guy for sixteen years. During that time, we have lived in a couple of different cities and seen a few different veterinarians. I am, however, so fortunate that on our move back to Raleigh, I found Armadale. I saved the best for last. They appear to care as much about my little guy as I do. Our most recent visit was due to an injury. Dr. Bonifant made me feel that we were the only concern she had during our time there, as she always does. I cannot rave enough about everyone at Armadale, from Lisa to Dr. Walker. They truly exemplify "Arrive as patients, leave as family."

We have been bringing our pets to Armandale for about two years, and we have been more than satisfied with our experience there. The staff, both front and back of the house, are always pleasant, personable, and caring. The doctors are knowledgeable and really take the time to care for our pets. We live over an hour away from the vet office. It definitely worth the drive to make sure that our fur babies are well cared for. A+ Armandale. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic and wonderful group of people. I will never forget the time my dog got out of her collar on my way into her appointment and so many staff came out to help me. They saw the flurry of activity in the parking lot and ran out to assist! Within minutes, my dog was safely back on her leash. I would highly recommend Armadale to care for your pet.

I have been going to Armadale for several months now, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The veterinarians I have seen (Dr. Novak and Dr. Diener) are amazing. We tried a few other veterinarians around North Raleigh, but decided Armadale was the perfect place for our dog Oscar and two cats Gideon and Samantha.
The entire staff was very nice and clearly love their jobs - laughter and smiles go a long way to making me feel better about who is taking care of my pets. Lisa up front is a hoot, she runs the front desk well and instantly makes you feel right at home. The technicians were friendly, great with my skittish cats, and very knowledgeable. The doctors very caring and informative; I never felt like I was being pushed into anything, but came to informed decisions with the vet about what was best my little ones.
As far as prices go they seem to an excellent deal for the level of care and attention you receive. That being said let me tell why Armadale is amazing to me:
When I was picking up my kitties from their dental cleanings, I was running late and got there after they were technically closed (I felt awful), but the staff was all smiles, and the doctor talked to me for 30 minutes, going over the procedure and answering every question thoroughly. It takes a special place with a special staff to be like that, and I am grateful we found Armadale Animal Hospital.

Honestly, one of the best experience with a vet I have ever had. Yesterday I had to do one of the hardest things I have yet to do in life. I had to put down my precious 8 year old pug, Joy. The team at Armadale made one of the worst times in life extremely comfortable and loving for both Joy and me. They were kind, compassionate, caring and professional. They gave my Joy great care in health, in sickness and as she passed away to be in heaven. This team is amazing!!! I am sold as a costumer FOR LIFE! Thank you!!!

We just got a new puppy, and we were referred to this facility by a friend of ours who has several pets himself. He is super protective of his dogs, so my wife and I knew that if he recommended a veterinary care facility, it had to be good and and Armadale Animal Hospital certainly is good.Their entire staff is very friendly and after two visits knew us and our dog Bandit by name. Each time we have been there we are promptly sent to a examination room where an intern from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine performs a initial examination (i.e. weight, looks through his coat, and takes his temperature....yikes!) and shortly thereafter the Vet, Dr Sawyer comes in. She is great with him, performs a unrushed examination of Bandit, distracts him with some treats as they give him a shot, and answers any questions we have patiently. Some personal physicians I have seen in the past could learn from her bedside manner.Thanks to our friend's recommendation, we have found a keeper for any and all future veterinary needs that our pup Bandit may have. If you're in need of a vet for your new pet or in search of one because you're unhappy with who you take your pet to now, go visit the Armadale Animal Hospital. You will be doing your pet and your piece of mind a favor.

I have been a client of Armadale since I moved to Raleigh almost 7 years ago. I feel like the veterinarians and the staff truly care Not only about the well being of your pet, but also about you as a person. A specific example of this is where I needed to get a refill of my dog food (Science Diet KD a prescription food) for a long weekend, and there would be no way I would have gotten there in time for them closing---they put The dog food on the porch for me tin get it after hours and then called me the following week for the payment. Not many vet offices would be willing to give you $100 worth of dog food and charge you later. I love that when I come in, they ask about all my animals, and my daughter, and spend so much time just asking about how my family is blending together with the baby and the dogs/cats. I will never ever go to another veterinary office as long as I live in Raleigh. Highly recommended!!!

i've been coming to armadale for a few years now for my cats chronic condition... well... it's not chronic. the vet he sees doesn't care enough to give me any actual help!! so he is just as bad off as when we first arrived, only we are broke now!! she doesn't listen, if you can get even half a word in. they make you wait forrrrrreeeeevvvver. what is the point of appointments and getting there on time? they whisper about clients in the back... all around rude. we are going to transfer to a better office asap. i am not wasting any more money on ""i don't know"". no thanks! stay away if your pet has any health problems. grrrrr.

When it comes to vet care this place is top notch. Besides the vets being personable, staff is very friendly too. After learning our dog was diagnosed with Diabetes and masses on his heart we transferred his care to NC State Vet School. Spending over 10k in 3 months with a diagnosis of 3-6 months to live we were heart broken and very confused. Even though he was being treated at State, Dr. Walker was active in his case. After one of the vet students advised us to insert a feeding tube we were at our wits end and decided to transfer his care back to Armadale. The best decion ever! Dr. Walker has been a Godsend! It has been 15 months now and our Slider is still with us! Thanks to everyone at Armadale and hats off to Dr. Walker. Slider wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the compassion and understanding you have always shown us.

We can't say enough good things about the staff at Armadale Animal Hospital and Dr. Novak's team! We started going to them when I got my puppy Lilo back in 2015 at the time we lived in Raleigh so it was really convenient location for us since then I've gotten engaged and moved to Fuquay and we still drive up to North Raleigh to see Dr. Novak because she is simply the best! Lilo had a lot of problems as a puppy with her stomach she was constantly getting sick and having diarrhea Dr. Novak was very patient with us while we tried several options until we came up with a solution (royal canon gastrointestinal dog food) that worked well for Lilo and I've have a happy healthy puppy ever since! We will continue making the commute to keep going to this awesome office!

I've been to many vets in many states over many years, and Armadale is by far the best animal hospital I've ever been to. The entire staff is amazing and truly caring, and they only want what's absolutely best for their patients and their human families. We have been seeing Dr. Walker, who goes out of his way to discuss his cases with clients, even when their pets end up having to go to a specialist or after-hours emergency. He reached out to us on both occasions when our animals were critical and at 24-hour care, and he clearly cares more than most doctors (animal or human) about his patients, who really are like family. Your pets will be the luckiest in the universe to be treated by these wonderful people. Thank you thank you thank you for all you do, Dr. Walker and the super Armadale Animal Hospital staff!

I have been fortunate enough to be the pet-parent of my little guy for sixteen years. During that time, we have lived in a couple of different cities and seen a few different veterinarians. I am, however, so fortunate that on our move back to Raleigh, I found Armadale. I saved the best for last. They appear to care as much about my little guy as I do. Our most recent visit was due to an injury. Dr. Bonifant made me feel that we were the only concern she had during our time there, as she always does. I cannot rave enough about everyone at Armadale, from Lisa to Dr. Walker. They truly exemplify "Arrive as patients, leave as family."

We have been bringing our pets to Armandale for about two years, and we have been more than satisfied with our experience there. The staff, both front and back of the house, are always pleasant, personable, and caring. The doctors are knowledgeable and really take the time to care for our pets. We live over an hour away from the vet office. It definitely worth the drive to make sure that our fur babies are well cared for. A+ Armandale. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic and wonderful group of people. I will never forget the time my dog got out of her collar on my way into her appointment and so many staff came out to help me. They saw the flurry of activity in the parking lot and ran out to assist! Within minutes, my dog was safely back on her leash. I would highly recommend Armadale to care for your pet.

The doctors always spend as much time as needed at our visits. Everyone from the ladies at the front desk to veterinarians genuinely care about our dogs. I highly recommend them!

I have been going to Armadale for several months now, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The veterinarians I have seen (Dr. Novak and Dr. Diener) are amazing. We tried a few other veterinarians around North Raleigh, but decided Armadale was the perfect place for our dog Oscar and two cats Gideon and Samantha.
The entire staff was very nice and clearly love their jobs - laughter and smiles go a long way to making me feel better about who is taking care of my pets. Lisa up front is a hoot, she runs the front desk well and instantly makes you feel right at home. The technicians were friendly, great with my skittish cats, and very knowledgeable. The doctors very caring and informative; I never felt like I was being pushed into anything, but came to informed decisions with the vet about what was best my little ones.
As far as prices go they seem to an excellent deal for the level of care and attention you receive. That being said let me tell why Armadale is amazing to me:
When I was picking up my kitties from their dental cleanings, I was running late and got there after they were technically closed (I felt awful), but the staff was all smiles, and the doctor talked to me for 30 minutes, going over the procedure and answering every question thoroughly. It takes a special place with a special staff to be like that, and I am grateful we found Armadale Animal Hospital.

Honestly, one of the best experience with a vet I have ever had. Yesterday I had to do one of the hardest things I have yet to do in life. I had to put down my precious 8 year old pug, Joy. The team at Armadale made one of the worst times in life extremely comfortable and loving for both Joy and me. They were kind, compassionate, caring and professional. They gave my Joy great care in health, in sickness and as she passed away to be in heaven. This team is amazing!!! I am sold as a costumer FOR LIFE! Thank you!!!

We just got a new puppy, and we were referred to this facility by a friend of ours who has several pets himself. He is super protective of his dogs, so my wife and I knew that if he recommended a veterinary care facility, it had to be good and and Armadale Animal Hospital certainly is good.Their entire staff is very friendly and after two visits knew us and our dog Bandit by name. Each time we have been there we are promptly sent to a examination room where an intern from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine performs a initial examination (i.e. weight, looks through his coat, and takes his temperature....yikes!) and shortly thereafter the Vet, Dr Sawyer comes in. She is great with him, performs a unrushed examination of Bandit, distracts him with some treats as they give him a shot, and answers any questions we have patiently. Some personal physicians I have seen in the past could learn from her bedside manner.Thanks to our friend's recommendation, we have found a keeper for any and all future veterinary needs that our pup Bandit may have. If you're in need of a vet for your new pet or in search of one because you're unhappy with who you take your pet to now, go visit the Armadale Animal Hospital. You will be doing your pet and your piece of mind a favor.

I have been a client of Armadale since I moved to Raleigh almost 7 years ago. I feel like the veterinarians and the staff truly care Not only about the well being of your pet, but also about you as a person. A specific example of this is where I needed to get a refill of my dog food (Science Diet KD a prescription food) for a long weekend, and there would be no way I would have gotten there in time for them closing---they put The dog food on the porch for me tin get it after hours and then called me the following week for the payment. Not many vet offices would be willing to give you $100 worth of dog food and charge you later. I love that when I come in, they ask about all my animals, and my daughter, and spend so much time just asking about how my family is blending together with the baby and the dogs/cats. I will never ever go to another veterinary office as long as I live in Raleigh. Highly recommended!!!

i've been coming to armadale for a few years now for my cats chronic condition... well... it's not chronic. the vet he sees doesn't care enough to give me any actual help!! so he is just as bad off as when we first arrived, only we are broke now!! she doesn't listen, if you can get even half a word in. they make you wait forrrrrreeeeevvvver. what is the point of appointments and getting there on time? they whisper about clients in the back... all around rude. we are going to transfer to a better office asap. i am not wasting any more money on ""i don't know"". no thanks! stay away if your pet has any health problems. grrrrr.

When it comes to vet care this place is top notch. Besides the vets being personable, staff is very friendly too. After learning our dog was diagnosed with Diabetes and masses on his heart we transferred his care to NC State Vet School. Spending over 10k in 3 months with a diagnosis of 3-6 months to live we were heart broken and very confused. Even though he was being treated at State, Dr. Walker was active in his case. After one of the vet students advised us to insert a feeding tube we were at our wits end and decided to transfer his care back to Armadale. The best decion ever! Dr. Walker has been a Godsend! It has been 15 months now and our Slider is still with us! Thanks to everyone at Armadale and hats off to Dr. Walker. Slider wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the compassion and understanding you have always shown us.
