We found a stray puppy while visiting my mother in Raleigh @ a week ago We live in Maryland, and we were at a loss of what to do. A kind neighbor of my mom's suggested we take the puppy to Six Forks Animal Hospital (Best Vet Clinic in the area, according to the neighbor). Was he right! After checking for an inexistente chip, the staff was kind to take the puppy, post her info on their website, care for her, and assured us that they would call us if someone claimed her. Today, we received a call saying that the puppy had not been claimed, but that she would be adopted by one of the staff!! It was the most fortuitous event for this adorable puppy. We know she'll have the BEST life. BEfore returning home to Maryland, we drove several times in front of the clinic and we could always see happy dogs playing and having the best time!! in Brief: Friendly, professional, and willing to go the extra mile. our family loves this place. The Drs and all the staff are always so helpful. Healthcare for my old dog is a challenge financially. The folks understood, did not pressure me and worked with me to provide the best care for my dog and be able to afford it. They definitely cost more than they should have for their quality of service. I had my cat spayed and there is a noticeable bump where they made the incision and they never gave us any ointment for the area. Plus they insisted on keeping her overnight, something they didn't mention to me before dropping her off. During our next visit a vet tech nearly injected my cat with the wrong vaccine. The space is seriously outdated yet I always felt like they were scamming me for more money. Would not recommend, will not be going back. Read Less

I absolutely love this place! I'm new to the area and started out at quails corner but I didn't feel they were what I wanted. So I got word from my husbands grandfather about six forks.... We have truly found out furever vet! Everyone is so nice and gentle. My 10 month old chihuahua had exploratory surgery done today and everyone was so good to him! It's always hard to leave your pet with someone you don't know! But there was no doubt in my mind,I knew he would be taken very well cared of.. I love this place and the people in it! I just moved to North Raleigh from Chapel Hill where we were long time patients of a vet hospital who's vet's specialized in Dachshunds. It was very nerve wracking since the only dog breed I've ever had growing up was a dachshund and this one vet we always took all our dogs to. Then I moved to Raleigh with my fiancé and my two dachshunds. Love the atmosphere at Six Forks and every person who works here makes me feel so welcome and just loves on my babies the entire time they are here. Very reasonable prices and you are in and out in no time! ok i posted this review on yelp and didn't feel like writing a new one because this one says everything!!! this place is awesome! This place is amazing!!!! I take all 3 of my dogs here. The front desk staff and vet techs are always so sweet, helpful, and really great with my dogs and I really couldn't say enough nice things about the vets. I seriously don't have a single complaint! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for great care of their fur kids. They truly have a passion for animals and it shows in how they treat them and the people who bring them. WONDERFUL vet office!! My dogs actually enjoy coming because they get so much attention and affection. Love this place! Read Less
