Welcome to Reidsville Veterinary & Emergency Hospital!
Our hospital is a full service practice offering our patients comprehensive general, emergency and specialty medicine and surgery for small animal patients. With five doctors, we can care for everything from routine wellness and vaccination visits to complex reproductive, orthopedic, and ophthalmic surgeries. Non- traditional therapy is also in our arsenal such as Shockwave, Acupuncture and rehabilitative physical therapy.
You will find a large selection of high quality diets including Hill’s Science Diet age specific formulas and Prescription diet therapeutic foods. We also carry select Royal Canin and Purina specialty diets for allergies and other medical conditions. Our shampoos, dental care product, treats and flea medications are all carefully chosen by our veterinary staff for safety and effectiveness unlike many over the counter products which can actually harm your pet. When visiting our hospital please take a moment to look through the “ Behind the Scenes” and “Our Patients” photo albums. Most clients never get the opportunity to see how “high tech” modern veterinary medicine can be – so we created a “tour” to show you what happens in the treatment and surgical areas of our hospital. We love all our patients but we are proud to be trusted with some of the top show dogs, cats and horses in the country. Our books show Westminster winners and Vogue “feline” models not to mention some just great clients and the champions of their hearts.

Found the RIGHT VET on the first shot! We're new to the area and going through the 'Setup our New Life' process here, which of course means a new Doc for our menagerie. Well...Dr. Mauldin and his crew are all top notch, his office is comfortable, and they are VERY reasonable on cost. The appointments were on time as well, which is HUUUGE!

Dr Mauldin is a wonderful vet. My 14 yr old Jack Russell got a broken left rear leg, due to a new puppy. I called first and waited a short time and I had to leave her overnight and the evening she came home with a full leg cast. We had a recheck 3 weeks later and the cast was removed after 8 weeks. My older dog is just as good as she was previously.

I love this clinic. They have stayed open late to treat the many strays I bring there at the last minute. The office staff is personable and clearly care about every animal brought in. Dr Mauldin loves all animals, and is very gentle and caring toward all of them. I have had several animals fixed there, and my experience has always been very positive. I am bringing another starving stray there tomorrow, and fully expect to have a positive experience. You can't get better vet care any where, in my opinion.

I took my cat in to be neutered.When I got home and took him out of carrier...I had to hold my breath!!! He smelled sooooo bad..He had iodine and blood all over him that after staying overnight was ju...
I took my cat in to be neutered.When I got home and took him out of carrier...I had to hold my breath!!! He smelled sooooo bad..He had iodine and blood all over him that after staying overnight was just a big dried mess...The vet made every excuse he could to dispute me...but I told him there was nothing he could say ...He then resorted to telling me that he must of urinated on himself in transportation!!!! WRONG HE WAS RIGHT BESIDE ME ..WHICH TOOK LESS THAN 10 MINUTES...I would never take an animal to these people!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well...Dr. Mauldin and his crew are all top notch, his office is comfortable, and they are VERY reasonable on cost. The appointments were on time as well, which is HUUUGE!

Dr Mauldin is a wonderful vet. My 14 yr old Jack Russell got a broken left rear leg, due to a new puppy. I called first and waited a short time and I had to leave her overnight and the evening she came home with a full leg cast. We had a recheck 3 weeks later and the cast was removed after 8 weeks. My older dog is just as good as she was previously.

I love this clinic. They have stayed open late to treat the many strays I bring there at the last minute. The office staff is personable and clearly care about every animal brought in.
