The staff are very friendly. Every Doctor we've seen has been amazing. My puppy had some stomach issues in the beginning and they were helpful, friendly, and compassionate. I can't imagine taking him anywhere else! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Rowan Animal is not only knowledgeable in every scenario we've had, but affordable also. I will NEVER step foot in this "hospital" again. My miniature dachshund was hit by a car, so I rushed him to RAC. Upon arriving, he was taken back to a room where we waited to be seen by the doctor for 30 minutes. Dr. Duda finally came in to assess him, didn't act concerned or like she cared at all. Took him for X-rays, came back and said he was fine. Sent him home with pain meds. Two days later, I take him to the emergency vet in Kannapolis (who were wonderful) where I find out he has severe head trauma and neurological damage. Let me ask you this: if you had a dog come in after being hit by a car, wouldn't you check his head at all? Well she didn't. And now my dog is dead. He died at the emergency clinic last night from head trauma. He could have been saved if they would have even taken the time to check. And now my whole family must suffer from this. Not to mention how rude and uncaring the receptionist LINDA was. I will tell everyone I know how horrible my experience was. I hope you lose everything like I did.Read Less

I have no stars to give this place. They were my regular vet and out of the blue my doberman lost the use of her legs and was in a great deal of pain, so I made the difficult decision to ease her pain. I left work had my daughter meet me there. I realized my wallet was at home, so I was going to run home to get it while my daughter stayed there. I was told I needed to pay up front,which has never been been requested for the other visits there. We left, my dog collapsed on the ground and yelped in pain any time she was touched. Wound up going to an emergency vet in kannapolis. They showed me more care and compassion than my regular vet. I will never go back and don't recommend them to anyone who asks. Read Less

My dog Talia had parvo back in August of 2014 we got there once we were in the room the vet gave us a bill of around 400 dollars but yet when we went to go pick her up from this clinic we were givin the bill of $675 and was told if we didn't pay it that day they were goin to adopt her out with OUT our permission and since then we haven't been back to that place Read Less

I am so thankful for the staff at Rowan Animal Clinic for the love and excellent care they gave my cat Murphy. I took him in close to closing with a very high fever and lethargy. The were quick and efficient in treating him. He was there for 3 days and I received phone calls twice daily to update me on his condition; that truly impressed me. Yesterday, was one of the hardest days. Our dog sweetie was trying to dig out from under our fence, and she got stuck. Her whole back was cut open and she lost a ton of blood. I called and was told come right in. When we got there they were waiting for us. They took us back immediately. We could not save our sweet girl. They not only worried about her, but also about our family. They let the 4 of us hold her, and be with her as she went to sleep. The entire staff was so kind, caring and compassionate. They even gave us a box that looked like a small coffin with cloth inside to cover her and burry her in. They spent what seemed like a very long time with us. The vet Dr Eberle was so nice he kept telling us how sorry he was. He was very supportive and gentle with our baby. Our hearts were breaking for our sweet girl and that entire staff could not have been kinder or more sympathetic. Love RAC and all the good friends there who care for my pets. From Terry and the front desk crew to the techs and the vets, we are always greeted and treated like family and feel confident that our pets are getting the best care possible. The Open House at the new building today was awesome! What a great turn out. The new building at the home site is beautiful. I am so happy for everyone at RAC.
