My dog had a seizure-like episode one day, out of the blue. He's been going to this office for about a year. Obviously, this day, we were in a bit of a panic, but called on our way to bringing him in. We were spoken to very, very rudely during this call, by the person at the desk, and on top of being told that the doctor wouldn't be available, but that we could "drop off" our dog, if we wished, and as long as we got him the kennel cough shot that we had previously declined. (because at the time we were told it wasn't necessary.) Apparently, this person at the desk remembered we had declined this shot and now saw us as scum because we declined. Spoke to us in a very curt manner, very rude and short with us! We hung up, and took my dog to the animal hospital about five minutes away, who treated us with care and respect..Will be going there from now on, never to step foot in Willow Creek again. Totally absurd behaviour by this person!! It was so harsh, and completely un-called for, and at the worst possible time. Read Less

Our dog has gone to Willow Creek for several years. He is getting older and has recently had two ACL’s repaired and he needed a cracked tooth removed. Willow Creek performed all necessary labs and then insisted on re-running any labs with the slightest abnormality. They called multiple times after we dropped him off and brought up new issues and concerns throughout the morning. The issue has not been with charges or quality of service but with inconsistency, and the constant bombardment of new requirements after we have already dropped him off. We informed the veterinarian that once this procedure is done we would be looking for a new vet for him, and now they refuse to treat him or do the surgery. As a provider I would always treat my patient and I would not refuse care to a person or animal if they informed me that they would be looking for another provider. Willow Creek was unprofessional and unwilling to accept any criticism that would lead to improved customer relationship or patient outcome. Consider another vet office prior to going to Willow Creek. I did love this place! Now I'm not sure if she really cares as much as I thought. She saved my dogs life when we found her... but now since we moved vets (we switched years ago) they have all of sudden decided not to board our sweet baby!! They didn't give us any warning or notice to this. They are the only ones to ever keep our dog and the only place I did trust... I guess they want all my money not just boarding money. We don't live in sanford and found a vet that was closer and had a very good reputation. I'm sadden they don't consider us a client when they have seen my dog(s) for appointments, boarding and grooming every year. I'm very disappointed that they refuse to keep my dog (that they just boarded in April). I guess they don't love the animals like I thought... I thought they loved my dog as much as me but no I guess they just want your money. Save yourself a heartache and pick a vet that will love your pet as much as you. Because this is not the place. Before they were so rude, I even considered switching my dog back to willow creek so I could have them as my boarders. But they refuse to board my dog at this time... not sure what that means or why since I can't get an answer... Now I have to find someone new to watch my already fearful rescued dog... thanks for caring.. oh wait you don't... please save yourself some time and find a loving and caring vet! And their prices are much higher compared to other vets in town and the surrounding area! I have recommended willow creek to so many and now I regret that. I wouldn't let them watch a pet rock at this point. I'm glad the years we went there and all the times you watched my dog and "loved" her so much was all a lie. Read Less

Boarded and vaccinated my dog here since he was a pup....Dr. Schaller said my dog was extremely energetic and needed an outlet, so she tried expending his energy herself the last time he was boarded and she reported to me that "I was right, he just has way too much." This past weekend, he was boarding there again. I received nightly texts saying how sweet he was, and how good he was for the vet assistants there...then when he gets picked up, the receptionist tells us he is too wild on a leash so we got charged an additional $50 AND we are no longer allowed there?? It just doesn't add up. If he were so "wild", why on earth was I receiving sweet messages from their staff every night? More importantly, why wasn't I called if it were so horrible??! This is no way to run a business and I am appalled at the way we were handled as clients. I will never go back there again. Read Less

This was our third choice for boarding our dog when we decided on a last minute over night trip Memorial Day Weekend. We're happy to have found a safe place for her last minute as our two preferred boarding places were full. But, not thrilled about their holiday boarding hours or requirements. For a Sat-Sun trip they required a Fri-Tues stay. They apparently don't have the staff to handle check ins or checkouts during holidays, though they have staff to feed and care for the animals. They also required exams and extras that the other two leading vet/boarders in town have not required. It seemed like a big push to charge more. She is up to date on everything needed usually. They are also requiring a check out appt to go over the exam given. Without any flexibility for these appt times. Usually, you can come pick up at anytime I checkout date. I'm sure we will not be using Willow Creek for boarding again. And am already scheduling our preferred boarder for our next weekend trip.Read Less

At first this place seemed like a really nice place with friendly people who care a lot about the animals brought there. After going to this place I will never again step foot in this place. My puppy was extremely sick and in a lot of pain but do you think anybody at this place cared? No they didn't all they cared about was the money. I waited 2 hours before the vet even came in the room to examine my sick puppy. Finally after she came in before she even said anything about my dog she started talking about a down payment. At the time I didn't care about a down payment I just wanted her to help my dog. When she finally did the test on my dog and it came back she once again went back to talking about how we were going to pay for the treatment. She have me 3 options. 1 pay $300 deposit to start treatment right away for something she "thought" might be wrong with my dog. 2 go home and see if my dog gets better on her own. 3 pay $175 to have my dog sent off to a landfill to be disposed of. This was her exact words! Now that's not what you say to people. Then she left out the room and the nurse came back in to ask us what our decision was because they needed that room for another person! In the end I had to still pay $100 just to leave and take my sick puppy home where she died within 30 minutes. The nurse then called me the net day to see if I had changed my mind and wanted to bring my puppy back for treatment. When I had told her that my dog had died her response was "we'll is there anything you would like us to do for you ?" There was nothing they could do now that she is gone so I just hung up the phone! This place does not care about the animals all they care about is what's in your bank account! The vet obviously did not go into this career for animals but for her own personal greed! It's the worst place ever and it should be shut down!Read Less

I owned a cat that I chose to leave with my parents five years ago after I got married. I felt it would be best for anxiety not to move her, and it would be good for my parents to have some animal company since I was the last child to leave the nest. When my parents came home from vacation they found that our cat was not herself anymore and my brother who had been looking after her said that she had stopped eating and drinking. We knew it was time to take her to the vet, and chose to bring her to Willow Creek. Dr. Schaller was so gentle and compassionate with our little baby. When the tumor was found on her, we knew she was going to have to be put down, but before the procedure could be done she began to pass on her own naturally. Dr. Schaller was with us through the entire process, and there were tears, but the passing was peaceful. I really appreciate Dr. Schaller being there and being as supportive as she could be as we dealt with the loss of a loved one. This is a great vet with a very caring and loving staff, and that meant a lot to us during this difficult time. Read Less

I got a same day appt for my GSD, Axel, whose ear was bothering him. He was seen by Dr. Schaller and had a horrible ear infection. While I was there I brought up another concern for my boy and rather than want to run tests and run up a bill that she didn't see as necessary, she told me what to watch for. I also planned to have his nails clipped but he felt so bad and was in pain, along with his anxiety, she didn't want to stress him further. I am so thankful for the entire staff at Willow Creek. Their priority is the well being of the patients and their owners. They keep personal budgets in mind and don't try to push something that they feel can wait. They cleaned his ear out and he finally started eating once we got home. They are at the top of their profession and passionate about what they do and who they serve. Here in the states it seems places are only doing it to punch a time card. I am military and have been all over the US. Asia has seen all different kinds of vets, most that are scarred to even get near her. This is the only place that I know that cares and understands about all animals and their nature. That is why I drove an hour one way to care for my pet/ first daughter. I have read reviews that they are to expensive and refuse treatment if you done have the money. Quality treatment cost money, and the hospital would send you home if you didn't have insurance. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the Fayetteville area. Read Less

This hospital was recommended to me by 2 friends and one stranger while walking my dog in my new neighborhood. On the day of our appointment I took my 2 year old Aussie and 4 year old daughter hoping they both would behave during the appointment. My dog was greeted by name at the door. While waiting to be seen my daughter enjoyed the foam sticker craft in their children's play area. The nurse took us into a room and asked us about the history of my dog. When my daughter started complaining that she wanted to go the nurse offered a juice box and animal crackers. I appreciated their concern for my daughter's happiness as well as my dog. The doctor came in and introduced herself to me and my daughter then sat on the floor while Cooper crawled into her lap. When it was time for the exam she asked my daughter if she would help her do the examination. They got the doctor's kit from their children's play area. I took my dog here for all of his initial vaccinations, exams and neuter after saving him from the Shelter. First off they are expensive and are very non flexible with payments. They always try to get you to do extra things to tack on more money. You will go there for one thing and they'll try to convince you to do ten more things and they don't really listen to you. They claim to offer discounts etc. for military but I'm pretty sure that's a lie. I also felt that they were physically rough with my dog during the exams and I did not like that, especially where my dog is small and was at the time very sick. The last straw for me that has made me decide that I do not want to go back there is that in the system I noticed they have my dog listed as "Bad Dog." I have never in my life been treated so badly. My dog needed to have a serious surgery and I had to be referred to another clinic (which was probably the best thing ever). Upon the diagnosis, Dr. Schaller told me that I was too young to be taking care of my dog and that I needed my parents to stop being lazy and do their job. I am in my 20s, well beyond the age to need parent supervision. I can provide for myself and take care of my own animal! She needs to keep her snotty comments to herself. And then she continued to tell the referred vet of the other clinic lies about the case of my dog. Straight up lies that she assumed based on the case, disease of the intestines is common and out of my hands. She acted as though I had planned for my dog to get a disease of his intestines and then think that I wanted him to suffer. Hello, I took him to be checked out as soon as I started noticing, do you really think I would pay so much money to get him help if i wanted to see him suffer? She just thinks that she is a know it all about everything. Its hard enough to listen to her talk in the patient room. She uses so many scientific terms that are in reference to the animals that really she could be saying I found poop on the floor instead of giving answers to the problem. Since I have left, I have noticed that my other vet uses these terms but continues to explain them so that I understand what all is going on. Its like Dr. Schaller just wants to sound superior and what not. I mean I have a BS in Biology and understand very much, but just didn't concentrate in animal science and therefore we, the general public, would not understand completely. She hardly spends any time also with you the client. She just rushes in and then rushes out. I understand she is the only vet in the office, but I am paying you for your services. You can at least stay a little longer to explain what is going on. Just stay away from Bragg st. and use the other local vets, I haven't had a problem yet since I have left. Read Less

Read Less

The staff and Dr. Schaller are all very compansionate. We lost a family member, and they were very respectful and compasionate. Dr. Schaller sent a card and a dog charm, that brought me to tears. I still have that charm, on my key chain. I can't say enough good things about this clinic and the entire staff. If there is any clinic you wish to invest in, this is the one!Read Less
