Sue and Dr. Rilling have given amazing care to our animals over the 35+ years I've taken my animals to Summerfield. The staff is compassionate, and there are several lovely pets we wouldn't have had if it wasn't for them, especially Zuzu and Bear. We have used Summerfield Vet for our dogs for over 15 years. They are always very thorough, compassionate, and helpful. Our dog is at ease when she goes there and the staff is always so gentle with her. They left my nephew's Shih Tzu unattended in a thermal heating blanket during a teeth cleaning and. Now he has to undergo burn treatments. The vet said his skin was just sensitive. Sorry, but all skin is sensitive when it has been burned. Unbelievable. Read Less

I had the most excellent service when I took my Great Dane, Grace into the office. It was our first visit ever and Grace was very sick. They made her top priority and got her into surgery right away. Dr. Thomas made sure to explain everything that was going on and tried every option that was available to help. Dr. Thomas and the other staff there were very kind and accommodating. Our cat had a lump on her mammary glad, we thought it was cancer and we were devastated. Dr. Rilling preformed surgery and removed the lump and it turned out not to be cancer! Plus our cat recovered quickly due to the doctor's skills. We could not be happier!Read Less

I called around to different vets for prices of different things before deciding to go with them just based on the price I am so glad I did. I have a dog and a cat. With our dog they were very helpful with her problems and very nice. My cat peed in his crate on the way to his apt I apologized for the smell and they cleaned it out and put a peepad in the crate without me asking I said they didn't have to but they said it was no big deal. I also showed up an hour early by mistake to my apt and even then they said they weren't seeing patients one of the doctors saw me really quick so I didn't have to wait. I've had an emergency with my cat and I had to go to work I dropped him off they called me ASAP & let me know what was wrong told me what they had done and that he was ready for pick up. I called back and thanked them for fitting me in and they said no problem that's what were here for. Bottom line is this is a very nice and caring vet at affordable prices I am very glad we found them I would recommend this to anyone! Read Less
