I used this vet for 14 years until I moved out of state. I could not ask for a more kind, compassionate, thorough, thoughtful or practical veterinarian practice. They have taken excellent care of all my pets. I have recommended them to everyone seeking a vet in the area and no one has been disappointed. For their above average care they still manage to keep their costs below others in the area. You won't find better than Summerfield Vet.

I cannot say enough great things about Summerfield Vet. Extremely personal service by doctors that truely care about you and your pet. Doctor Ballard saved my dog Bradley’s life the week before Christmas this year. Bradley required surgery after he ate a sock and part of a Christmas present that became lodged in his small intestine. It was blatantly evident that Doctor Ballard genuinely cared about my dogs well being. My family and I are so grateful for Doctor Ballard and all of the staff at Summerfield Vet.

Sue and Dr. Rilling have given amazing care to our animals over the 35+ years I've taken my animals to Summerfield. The staff is compassionate, and there are several lovely pets we wouldn't have had if it wasn't for them, especially Zuzu and Bear. We now drive past at least three other vet practices to take our animals to them, because they treat us and our animals with consideration and respect.

Our dog is at ease when she goes there and the staff is always so gentle with her. Their pricing is much cheaper than some other vets in the area, and they match the prices of heartworm medications that are found online. Highly recommended.

I had the most excellent service when I took my Great Dane, Grace into the office. It was our first visit ever and Grace was very sick. They made her top priority and got her into surgery right away. Dr. Thomas made sure to explain everything that was going on and tried every option that was available to help. Dr. Thomas and the other staff there were very kind and accommodating. We will definitely be returning in the future and I highly recommend this vet hospital. Thank you so much Summerfield Vet for all you did for Grace and our family!

I called around to different vets for prices of different things before deciding to go with them just based on the price I am so glad I did. I have a dog and a cat. With our dog they were very helpful with her problems and very nice. My cat peed in his crate on the way to his apt I apologized for the smell and they cleaned it out and put a peepad in the crate without me asking I said they didn't have to but they said it was no big deal. I also showed up an hour early by mistake to my apt and even then they said they weren't seeing patients one of the doctors saw me really quick so I didn't have to wait. I've had an emergency with my cat and I had to go to work I dropped him off they called me ASAP & let me know what was wrong told me what they had done and that he was ready for pick up. I called back and thanked them for fitting me in and they said no problem that's what were here for. Bottom line is this is a very nice and caring vet at affordable prices I am very glad we found them I would recommend this to anyone!

What a great place to take your pet!!They are kind, compassionate and thorough. Since being recommended by a friend, we have taken several animals to them and continue to do so. They have never, NEVER asked us to spend any more than is necessary to care for our animals. The vet is conservative, but unwilling to take chances. Thank you Summerfield Vet, you guys make taking our animals to the vet a pleasant experience.

I had the most excellent service when I took my Great Dane, Grace into the office. It was our first visit ever and Grace was very sick. They made her top priority and got her into surgery right away. Dr. Thomas made sure to explain everything that was going on and tried every option that was available to help. Dr. Thomas and the other staff there were very kind and accommodating. We will definitely be returning in the future and I highly recommend this vet hospital. Thank you so much Summerfield Vet for all you did for Grace and our family!

I called around to different vets for prices of different things before deciding to go with them just based on the price I am so glad I did. I have a dog and a cat. With our dog they were very helpful with her problems and very nice. My cat peed in his crate on the way to his apt I apologized for the smell and they cleaned it out and put a peepad in the crate without me asking I said they didn't have to but they said it was no big deal. I also showed up an hour early by mistake to my apt and even then they said they weren't seeing patients one of the doctors saw me really quick so I didn't have to wait. I've had an emergency with my cat and I had to go to work I dropped him off they called me ASAP & let me know what was wrong told me what they had done and that he was ready for pick up. I called back and thanked them for fitting me in and they said no problem that's what were here for. Bottom line is this is a very nice and caring vet at affordable prices I am very glad we found them I would recommend this to anyone!

What a great place to take your pet!!They are kind, compassionate and thorough. Since being recommended by a friend, we have taken several animals to them and continue to do so. They have never, NEVER asked us to spend any more than is necessary to care for our animals. The vet is conservative, but unwilling to take chances. Thank you Summerfield Vet, you guys make taking our animals to the vet a pleasant experience.
