Stoney Creek Vet Hospital is an amazing place. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for them for the care they have given my dog. The person I owe the most gratitude to is Dr. Sara Talbot as without her, my dog would not be here today.Dr. Sara Talbot is my dog's main vet. She is an amazingly kind person who is deeply compassionate about the work she does and cares immensely about the clients and pets she treats. She loves my dog as though he were her own and even has her own sweet nicknames for him. She is a great diagnostician but yet also able to admit when a specialist is the better person for a certain issue. She always comes in with a smile on her face and a positive attitude regardless of whether she is having a tough day. She has been through thick and thin, good and hard times, and emotional rollercoasters with my dog and me and has helped us through it all. She coordinates with all my dog's specialists and regularly updates them so that they stay in the loop and everyone is on the same page regarding my dog's care. My dog is very complex, requiring a different level of medical care than most, but she happily takes upon this challenge and I am so grateful to her and impressed with her skill and knowledge. My dog acts as though he loves her more than me sometimes, but honestly, I am okay with that because she is such a great vet and person.Dr. Nikki Little is my dog's acupuncturist. She helps keep my dog's hip and knee pain under control. She also steps in and treats him medically if Dr. Talbot is away or not at the office. Even though my dog is not usually seeing her for his other medical issues, she makes sure to stay up to date on him should she be needed to step in and is also a great vet. She is a really down to earth person. She approaches things in a more holistic approach(probably because she is a licensed veterinary acupuncturist and chiropractor along with her GP skills) and can do amazing things with her acupuncture and chiropractic skills. My dog also loves her and appreciates the pain relief she provides him and he has a better quality of life from the pain relief he receives.Dr. Glenn Huth, Brenda Huth, and Heather are in charge of my dog's rehabilitation care. Dr. Huth doesn't usually deal directly with my dog, but he does oversee his rehab and his wife administer's it to my dog. I have heard amazing things about Dr. Huth's orthopedic skills and he is quite the rehab connoisseur. Brenda and Heather are always goofy and fun when it comes to my dog walking in the water treadmill and my dog absolutely cherishes his rehab time.Kendra, Dana, Kristen, Amy, Heather, Brie, and Christy are the vet techs/assistants and they are all amazing people and talented techs. My dog has bonded with each one in his own special way and they all have their own connection with my dog. They are very professional, caring, compassionate, and just fun people to be around. You can tell that they all truly love their job and choose the veterinary tech field for their love of animals. I honestly love them all and trust them all fully with my dog.Sherri, Taylor, and Megan are the receptionists. They bring the character and fun to the hospital. They can be really goofy and always greet you with a smiling face and good attitude. They are the first people you see when you walk in and take that job of providing a positive impression very seriously.April, Jeremy, and Michelle are the kennel techs and are all very caring about the animals they watch and the care and services they provide. My dog doesn't board here, but they do also help out with him from time to time and I have always been impressed with them.Tina and Irene are the office managers and are quite the characters. They love animals and take their job of making sure the office runs smoothy and efficiently very seriously and will even special order my dog's specialty food and treats if I need them to.Both my dog and I love and appreciate SCVH and all who work there. They are the best. If you want the best vet team around, look no further than the SCVH!!

My long time dog, my baby for many years became old, and developed cushing's syndrome. He became incontinent, then developed an infection. Over the many years the vets kept him healthy. i knew he was too old to fight this infection. When i called, i told them i had already made the decision, and did not want him to suffer a moment longer. They got us in immediately. The tech came to my car and helped bring him in. The room was ready. Dr Huth checked him to be sure it was the right decision.
He agreed. I was allowed as much time as i wanted to say goodbye.. They waited until i said i was ready. They allowed me to stay during the injection. He died very quickly with his head in my lap. The tech walked me out to the car with her arm around me and gave me a hug. The compassion for my dog, and for me was wonderful. They made a diffucult thing easier for me to handle. I think these are people who genuinely care.

Was not impressed with a highly recommended dr who charged a lot more than my regular vet to do a mouth surgery. I went for the “highly recommended laser surgery” for my dogs mouth because it seemed less invasive and maybe better for my dog. The surgery was supposed to help with her gums collecting hair and causing infections. I was told not to touch her gums or mess with them several times after the first surgery. One month later she had yet another infection, I went back to see the dr and he was furious with me and basically told me if I couldn’t afford my dog I shouldn’t have gotten her. Isn’t that why I’m here!?? He was so mad and told me the gums had grown back that fast, it took 3 years to get where it was how could it grow back in one month???? I don’t think so. So he offered to do it again for free, so today when I picked her up I actually looked to see what he did this time because it seemed like nothing last time for $500. Today it looks like he took all of her gums out!! I see way up to the root-ish of her teeth???? That doesn’t seem right.. I will be taking pictures and if I have any further issues I will be making major waves for this place! I can’t believe you would be a smart ass because you messed up. Don’t be mad we all mess up, just fix it for the dogs sake.

The staff is the absolute best, hands down. I know my dog is being cared for by professionals who love their jobs. The environment is welcoming and clean. Staff is always courteous and friendly. They treat you like family. In addition to the vet hospital, there is also a separate building/lodge next door for boarding, daycare, training activities, and rehab. My dog has been boarded for the weekend and also goes to daycare a few days a week at the lodge. I know he loves it because he always jumps right out of the car when we get there and jumps right up on the counter to greet the staff, wagging his tail when I check him in in the mornings. It's really a dog's paradise and very reasonably priced. I couldn't be happier.

My wife and I had just moved near the area, met with the owner which he was very nice. However when we decided doing some business with the facility, We met with a guy name Ralph Shaw old guy like 70.. Ok..he came off cocky and made the entire conversation about himself like he owned the place, and went on talking about he was a minister, and how him and his wife are very involved in the area..etc. This guy Ralph, just gave us an uncomfortable feel, he was just asking too many personal questions that we're irrelevant to our visit. My mother in law had an asthma attack after smelling a strong tobacco scent in his office, then Ralph walked us out and talked more, the conversation never ended. This guy Ralph, who claimed to be somewhat a co-owner of the business, literally pulls out a smoking pipe, and conversation with the tobacco pipe in his mouth. That was icing on the cake how rude. The ladies were nice in the other area, but Ralph followed us all the way to our vehicles like it was too creepy. He was like a car salesman trying too hard, or just extremely strange. We finally got into our vehicles and our daughter ran up to the playground sitter for drop off pets and wanted to see the cute dogs, the 2 girls were sitting on their phones and It's cold outside, and the girls started playing with the water hoses spraying the dogs if they moved or peeped. And was laughing about it. We grabbed our daughter and said lets go! 1st the creepy salesman Ralph, then animal cruelty. I don't recommend any pets being sitter outside this facility. Especially when it's this cold in the winter.

My dog cc attend the pet lodge next door to the stony Creek veterinary office. We love the staff. They are wonderful. Today when my dog appeared not herself so the Stonycreek pet lodge called me immediately. I was able to get into the Stoney Creek veterinary office. The Lodge made the transition to the stony Creek veterinary office as seamless as possible . It was my first time there, my now ex-veterinary office could not see us. The staff (especially the lady at front desk) were wonderful. They made the experience not so scary for me and my dog.

Have found them to be money hungry. Money seems to be there #1 priority--not your pet, certainly not customer service. That being said, Dr. Wheeler is an excellent Vet and the technicians are all well trianed and good with animals. I suspect it is the more senior Vet who is behind the greedy attitude. Location is convenient but probably best to explore other possibilities first before settling here.

If you want a veterinarian who truly cares about your animals wellbeing, Dr. Huth is your guy! I moved to NC 11 years ago with my Rottweiler "Nitro", he had a very unique health history and had some trust issues when it came to going to the vet so I was extremely concerned about seeing a new Veterinarian. Dr. Huth and Nitro got along wonderfully! From the very minute I observed Dr. Huth interact with Nitro I knew I found the right man for the job. Dr. Huth and his staff had Nitro put at ease and wagging his nub the entire visit. Over the years I have brought various dogs into the clinic that I have rescued and found homes for and in each case, Dr. Huth and Staff have taken the time to make sure the animal has been provided everything they needed to stay happy and healthy. From standard veterinary care to surgery or emergency care, Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital has always gone above and beyond to make sure my dogs have had the best, quality care possible!

Extremely disgusted with the treatment we had while here thursday. We took in a recent rescue dog and Dr. Hugh pretty much told us the dog was worthless because she is a mixed breed and talked to us like we were idiots. When we were checking out we found out our debit card was frozen because we had too many transactions and the bank couldn't resolve it until 24 hours had passed. They didn't accept the only credit card we had. Tina was very rude about the situation and demanded I had someone bring $43 right then. We offered to have them call our regular vet to confirm that we always pay in full at the time of our visits and that we have never had this issue with them, which they refused. Tina disappeared and moments later another lady asked me to go to the back where Tina handed me a phone telling me to give the people permission to talk to her. I had no clue who she had called and found out she had called our bank and was demanding them to give her our account info! I made it clear I was disgusted but allowed them to give her enough insight to understand we were telling the truth. We promised to pay the $43 the next morning when we had the situation resolved, which we did, and she insisted we apply for another credit card just to cover the $43 we owed. I cannot believe how invasive this woman was. There was no concern for the dog or the customer. All I could see was greed and absolutely no understanding. She took it as far as threatening to take us to court over it after I repeated myself several times about what was going on and that we had every intention to pay! Horrible people and customer service!

Creager's Critters has groomed two different dogs for us for the last 17 years and has always done a fantastic job. Our pets love Susan and her staff. Stoney Creek Vet is a top-notch practice. Dr. Huth saved one of our dogs twice when she almost died, once from being fed table scraps by a friend and another time when she had an allergic reaction to over-the-counter flea shampoo. I highly recommend Creager's Critters and Stoney Creek Vet.

NIGHTMARE!! Horrible experience. Took my beautiful Golden Retriever for a groom & trim. They called to tell me they mixed up the instructions and SHAVED her to the skin, whole body & half of tail! When I went to pick her up, they gave me the WRONG dog! Thank God the other dog wasn't scheduled for surgery!! I had to go in the back to point out my now naked dog. The vet nor the owner, Susan Creager ever came out to apologize. My husband waited hour & half just to talk to vet, he never would come out. They don't even know what animal they're working on. They should have their license revoked. My poor dog won't be able to be out in the sun until she grows some protection, she's just tramatized now. Don't know what they did to her.

Absolutely wonderful staff, and two of the most brilliant veterinarians, Dr. Ballangee and Dr. Huth, who genuinely care about their patients and customers. They will consider your pets treatment and healthcare needs as if they were caring for their own pets. I've been taking my beagle there since he was 7 weeks old, which is now about 5 1/2 years. During this time they have saved his life and performed miracles twice!! The facility is always very clean and comfortable with ample parking. They offer many services that other veterinarian offices do not have, and are equipped to handle anything. I was shopping at PetSmart a while back and overheard one of their managers suggesting to a lady that she take her sick pet to see Dr. Huth, he referred to Dr. Huth as "The BEST veterinarian near Alamance County AND the BEST in Guilford County". My excellent choice to trust them to care for my beagle was again confirmed when I walked in one day and saw MY own doctor in the waiting area, he was coming to pick up his dog. I appreciate being able to have full confidence and trust in them as well as being able to honestly say that anytime I have ever needed them, they have been nothing but accommodating and provided top quality, compassionate care for my beagle! Dr. Huth and Dr. Ballangee have BOTH gone above and beyond for us and we will NEVER trust anyone else with our precious Beagus! We LOVE Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital!!

My dog also loves her and appreciates the pain relief she provides him and he has a better quality of life from the pain relief he receives.Dr. Glenn Huth, Brenda Huth, and Heather are in charge of my dog's rehabilitation care. Dr. Huth doesn't usually deal directly with my dog, but he does oversee his rehab and his wife administer's it to my dog. I have heard amazing things about Dr. Huth's orthopedic skills and he is quite the rehab connoisseur. Brenda and Heather are always goofy and fun when it comes to my dog walking in the water treadmill and my dog absolutely cherishes his rehab time.Kendra, Dana, Kristen, Amy, Heather, Brie, and Christy are the vet techs/assistants and they are all amazing people and talented techs. My dog has bonded with each one in his own special way and they all have their own connection with my dog. They are very professional, caring, compassionate, and just fun people to be around. You can tell that they all truly love their job and choose the veterinary tech field for their love of animals. I honestly love them all and trust them all fully with my dog.Sherri, Taylor, and Megan are the receptionists. They bring the character and fun to the hospital. They can be really goofy and always greet you with a smiling face and good attitude. They are the first people you see when you walk in and take that job of providing a positive impression very seriously.April, Jeremy, and Michelle are the kennel techs and are all very caring about the animals they watch and the care and services they provide. My dog doesn't board here, but they do also help out with him from time to time and I have always been impressed with them.Tina and Irene are the office managers and are quite the characters. They love animals and take their job of making sure the office runs smoothy and efficiently very seriously and will even special order my dog's specialty food and treats if I need them to.Both my dog and I love and appreciate SCVH and all who work there. They are the best. If you want the best vet team around, look no further than the SCVH!!

My long time dog, my baby for many years became old, and developed cushing's syndrome. He became incontinent, then developed an infection. Over the many years the vets kept him healthy. i knew he was too old to fight this infection. When i called, i told them i had already made the decision, and did not want him to suffer a moment longer. They got us in immediately. The tech came to my car and helped bring him in. The room was ready. Dr Huth checked him to be sure it was the right decision.
He agreed. I was allowed as much time as i wanted to say goodbye.. They waited until i said i was ready. They allowed me to stay during the injection. He died very quickly with his head in my lap. The tech walked me out to the car with her arm around me and gave me a hug. The compassion for my dog, and for me was wonderful. They made a diffucult thing easier for me to handle. I think these are people who genuinely care.

Was not impressed with a highly recommended dr who charged a lot more than my regular vet to do a mouth surgery. I went for the “highly recommended laser surgery” for my dogs mouth because it seemed less invasive and maybe better for my dog. The surgery was supposed to help with her gums collecting hair and causing infections. I was told not to touch her gums or mess with them several times after the first surgery. One month later she had yet another infection, I went back to see the dr and he was furious with me and basically told me if I couldn’t afford my dog I shouldn’t have gotten her. Isn’t that why I’m here!?? He was so mad and told me the gums had grown back that fast, it took 3 years to get where it was how could it grow back in one month???? I don’t think so. So he offered to do it again for free, so today when I picked her up I actually looked to see what he did this time because it seemed like nothing last time for $500. Today it looks like he took all of her gums out!! I see way up to the root-ish of her teeth???? That doesn’t seem right.. I will be taking pictures and if I have any further issues I will be making major waves for this place! I can’t believe you would be a smart ass because you messed up. Don’t be mad we all mess up, just fix it for the dogs sake.

The staff is the absolute best, hands down. I know my dog is being cared for by professionals who love their jobs. The environment is welcoming and clean. Staff is always courteous and friendly. They treat you like family. In addition to the vet hospital, there is also a separate building/lodge next door for boarding, daycare, training activities, and rehab. My dog has been boarded for the weekend and also goes to daycare a few days a week at the lodge. I know he loves it because he always jumps right out of the car when we get there and jumps right up on the counter to greet the staff, wagging his tail when I check him in in the mornings. It's really a dog's paradise and very reasonably priced. I couldn't be happier.

My wife and I had just moved near the area, met with the owner which he was very nice. However when we decided doing some business with the facility, We met with a guy name Ralph Shaw old guy like 70.. Ok..he came off cocky and made the entire conversation about himself like he owned the place, and went on talking about he was a minister, and how him and his wife are very involved in the area..etc. This guy Ralph, just gave us an uncomfortable feel, he was just asking too many personal questions that we're irrelevant to our visit. My mother in law had an asthma attack after smelling a strong tobacco scent in his office, then Ralph walked us out and talked more, the conversation never ended. This guy Ralph, who claimed to be somewhat a co-owner of the business, literally pulls out a smoking pipe, and conversation with the tobacco pipe in his mouth. That was icing on the cake how rude. The ladies were nice in the other area, but Ralph followed us all the way to our vehicles like it was too creepy. He was like a car salesman trying too hard, or just extremely strange. We finally got into our vehicles and our daughter ran up to the playground sitter for drop off pets and wanted to see the cute dogs, the 2 girls were sitting on their phones and It's cold outside, and the girls started playing with the water hoses spraying the dogs if they moved or peeped. And was laughing about it. We grabbed our daughter and said lets go! 1st the creepy salesman Ralph, then animal cruelty. I don't recommend any pets being sitter outside this facility. Especially when it's this cold in the winter.

My dog cc attend the pet lodge next door to the stony Creek veterinary office. We love the staff. They are wonderful. Today when my dog appeared not herself so the Stonycreek pet lodge called me immediately. I was able to get into the Stoney Creek veterinary office. The Lodge made the transition to the stony Creek veterinary office as seamless as possible . It was my first time there, my now ex-veterinary office could not see us. The staff (especially the lady at front desk) were wonderful. They made the experience not so scary for me and my dog.

Have found them to be money hungry. Money seems to be there #1 priority--not your pet, certainly not customer service. That being said, Dr. Wheeler is an excellent Vet and the technicians are all well trianed and good with animals. I suspect it is the more senior Vet who is behind the greedy attitude. Location is convenient but probably best to explore other possibilities first before settling here.

If you want a veterinarian who truly cares about your animals wellbeing, Dr. Huth is your guy! I moved to NC 11 years ago with my Rottweiler "Nitro", he had a very unique health history and had some trust issues when it came to going to the vet so I was extremely concerned about seeing a new Veterinarian. Dr. Huth and Nitro got along wonderfully! From the very minute I observed Dr. Huth interact with Nitro I knew I found the right man for the job. Dr. Huth and his staff had Nitro put at ease and wagging his nub the entire visit. Over the years I have brought various dogs into the clinic that I have rescued and found homes for and in each case, Dr. Huth and Staff have taken the time to make sure the animal has been provided everything they needed to stay happy and healthy. From standard veterinary care to surgery or emergency care, Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital has always gone above and beyond to make sure my dogs have had the best, quality care possible!

Extremely disgusted with the treatment we had while here thursday. We took in a recent rescue dog and Dr. Hugh pretty much told us the dog was worthless because she is a mixed breed and talked to us like we were idiots. When we were checking out we found out our debit card was frozen because we had too many transactions and the bank couldn't resolve it until 24 hours had passed. They didn't accept the only credit card we had. Tina was very rude about the situation and demanded I had someone bring $43 right then. We offered to have them call our regular vet to confirm that we always pay in full at the time of our visits and that we have never had this issue with them, which they refused. Tina disappeared and moments later another lady asked me to go to the back where Tina handed me a phone telling me to give the people permission to talk to her. I had no clue who she had called and found out she had called our bank and was demanding them to give her our account info! I made it clear I was disgusted but allowed them to give her enough insight to understand we were telling the truth. We promised to pay the $43 the next morning when we had the situation resolved, which we did, and she insisted we apply for another credit card just to cover the $43 we owed. I cannot believe how invasive this woman was. There was no concern for the dog or the customer. All I could see was greed and absolutely no understanding. She took it as far as threatening to take us to court over it after I repeated myself several times about what was going on and that we had every intention to pay! Horrible people and customer service!

Creager's Critters has groomed two different dogs for us for the last 17 years and has always done a fantastic job. Our pets love Susan and her staff. Stoney Creek Vet is a top-notch practice. Dr. Huth saved one of our dogs twice when she almost died, once from being fed table scraps by a friend and another time when she had an allergic reaction to over-the-counter flea shampoo. I highly recommend Creager's Critters and Stoney Creek Vet.

NIGHTMARE!! Horrible experience. Took my beautiful Golden Retriever for a groom & trim. They called to tell me they mixed up the instructions and SHAVED her to the skin, whole body & half of tail! When I went to pick her up, they gave me the WRONG dog! Thank God the other dog wasn't scheduled for surgery!! I had to go in the back to point out my now naked dog. The vet nor the owner, Susan Creager ever came out to apologize. My husband waited hour & half just to talk to vet, he never would come out. They don't even know what animal they're working on. They should have their license revoked. My poor dog won't be able to be out in the sun until she grows some protection, she's just tramatized now. Don't know what they did to her.

Absolutely wonderful staff, and two of the most brilliant veterinarians, Dr. Ballangee and Dr. Huth, who genuinely care about their patients and customers. They will consider your pets treatment and healthcare needs as if they were caring for their own pets. I've been taking my beagle there since he was 7 weeks old, which is now about 5 1/2 years. During this time they have saved his life and performed miracles twice!! The facility is always very clean and comfortable with ample parking. They offer many services that other veterinarian offices do not have, and are equipped to handle anything. I was shopping at PetSmart a while back and overheard one of their managers suggesting to a lady that she take her sick pet to see Dr. Huth, he referred to Dr. Huth as "The BEST veterinarian near Alamance County AND the BEST in Guilford County". My excellent choice to trust them to care for my beagle was again confirmed when I walked in one day and saw MY own doctor in the waiting area, he was coming to pick up his dog. I appreciate being able to have full confidence and trust in them as well as being able to honestly say that anytime I have ever needed them, they have been nothing but accommodating and provided top quality, compassionate care for my beagle! Dr. Huth and Dr. Ballangee have BOTH gone above and beyond for us and we will NEVER trust anyone else with our precious Beagus! We LOVE Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital!!
