Brought my friends dog to her "vet" today. THANK GOODNESS THIs VISIT WASN'T for my dog. I would have left and gone elsewhere. Greeted with a HUGE SIGH. Really? Then a walk out of the room and a return. No eye contact while the forced, minimalistic conversation took place. Apparently they have a procedure where they have you weigh your own pet in the lobby and you tell them your dogs weight? If you don't understand this going in, prepare to get attitude. Then they start the procedure with your dog without a conversation (without you in the room) and then take you to a room with the dog. It's not exactly clean. I mean the floors are free from debris and the counters free from clutter but it isn't newly scrubbed and smells like what you would expect of a pet hospital. Dingy. Dingy. Dingy. Your office doesn't need to be brand new but this isn't what I think is acceptable. I'd like to speak for the care but I didn't witness any of it so I can't tell you? For all of these things; the attitude, the lack of explanation, the lack of friendly proactive interaction and non communicative behavior I take away all your stars. BUT the vet was nice and did her job. Took a second to explain a couple things and kind of answered a question. So 3 stars back. When we paid, "Thank you. Y'all have a nice day." Too little too late ladies. The woman who brought cookies was greeted with a smile and friendly banter. Maybe they are as food driven as their customers. Wilmington Animal Healthcare is a little further but it's SUPER CLEAN and they do a lot of the things with you in the room so you can be with your baby or ask questions. They are super accommodating to any needs you might have. They will talk to you until you are satisfied. They take time to love your pet and get to know them. They take time to get to know you. We have never been so appalled with a vet. If we could give less than one star we would. I very rarely leave reviews but I have to warn people for the safety of their pet.
Dr. Cole was entirely unprofessional the entire visit. It started with her trying to give our dog a shot with the syringe full of air. She said it’s okay to inject air into a dog. My wife made her get rid of the air fortunately. She goes and squirts the air out right there. My wife is a nurse and just couldn’t believe her eyes. Later she tells us our dog has round worms so we were charged for medication. No big deal right, yet once we get home we see on the document they gave us all the tests came back negative. So we paid for and medicated our dog for no reason.
Ever since we got home our poor puppy has been crying in pain anytime we touch her. We’ve never had such a poor experience. My wife was talked down to the entire time as well. The staff was super unfriendly and I’m honestly shocked by how bad this place operates.
Please beware of this place, I’d recommend staying away at all cost. Read Less

I will NEVER return to this place again. I brought in my newly-adopted 2yo cat for combo testing. After waiting more than one hour past my appointment time, she was finally examined--but she was terrified because two large dogs were allowed in the exam room, sniffing her and reaching up to the exam table. The entire time we dealt with a noisy parrot making screeching sounds like a hurt animal. Even though I adopted her with all her shots done, apparently she needed two more. I paid the $150 and returned 2 weeks later for the next shot for the sake of simplicity. I was charged ANOTHER exam fee for weighing the cat, even though she was examined two weeks earlier! When I complained about the overcharge, the consistently rude receptionist said cats get exams each time while they're "growing up" and I shouldn't complain because "dogs are way more expensive anyway." She's 2 years old, NOT a kitten. I don't appreciate people reaching in my pockets and was completely turned off by the unprofessionalism of this place. I only wish I had my $225 back to take her to better vet. Read Less

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied in the care that was given to my pregnant rottweiler. A c section was done to deliver 4 puppies as uterine inertia was diagnosed.
