Dr. Kerr is the most compassionate dr we have come across. He is very knowledgeable and has helped our dog moose with his kidney issues. I love the fact he introduces Chinese herbs into his care and understands raw food diet. He takes his time to do a very thorough exam and explains when questions are asked. He does not over book so you are not rushed. I like the idea of him doing antibody titers rather then blindly giving unnecessary vaccinations. We are so happy we found his practice. Dr. Kerr is the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and overall wonderful veterinarian I have ever encountered. Furthermore I could not imagine a better vet exists. I have spent hundreds of dollars at different vets trying to figure out what is wrong with my cat. This man was not concerned about the money. He spent over an hour with my cat, who was of course absolutely terrified due to the car ride and the fact that going to the vet is no fun for any pet. The waiting room and ...examination room were both far more comforting than any other facility I’ve brought my cat into. She has seen three vets in the last three months and I’ve spent hundreds of problems trying to determine the cause of her pain. Nobody else has come close to a diagnosis. Dr.Kerr not only diagnosed her ailments, but provided me with solutions and gave me a a page of hand written instructions to help her heal. He made us both feel comfortable and spent over an hour with my cat, checking anything and everything. He did what I’ve wanted every vet I’ve seen to do; he cared about her. He only charged me for the office visit after he performed several procedures that I’m sure should have cost me much, much more money. He filled out my paperwork himself because I was holding my cat in my arms. He gave her time to roam around the room so she would feel more comfortable. My husband and I have a 12 week old Weimaraner puppy and first went to Dr. Kerr 4 weeks ago. I have to say Dr. Kerr is very professional and answered all of our questions. We have been back 2 times for puppy shots and exams and find that he is very reasonable with his fees.He is a little hard to get a hold of but does return calls when messages are left.He is old fashioned in the way he runs his office and we really like that-not a lot of frills but excellent vet care. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Kerr at Wellspring Holistic Veterinary practice. He was kind enough to open his office for me on Sunday evening at 8pm to help send Elvis across the rainbow bridge. Not one time did I feel rushed or insignificant. He was patient and kind and compassionate. He could have just sent us to the emergency clinic, but he did not. He also saw us on Saturday morning when he was fully booked to tend to Elvis on an emergency basis. If you have a pet and would like to explore the Chinese medicine/holistic approach to pet health, this is your guy. He also uses western medicine too so it's not just limited to herbal medicines, but it's a great alternative approach to good health.
