I would recommend Dr. Katie Habgood to ANYONE who wants a trust worthy veterinarian to take care of their animal and their needs. One of my cats was diagnosed with diabetes early this year. She was seen at the emergency vet clinic and again at AHC by a different veterinarian who told me that she would need to be euthanized. Weighing my options, I set up an appointment with Dr. Habgood (I had never met with her before), to have my cat euthanized. When I met with Dr. Habgood, s...he advised me that there were other options and that my cat could potentially live a normal life if she were to get the care that she needed. Dr. Habgood recommended that she be hospitalized, which she ultimately was for 3 days and she kept me updated on every single thing that happened throughout those days. She called me multiple times a day and kept me informed on her condition. My cat went from deathly ill to better than ever. She is doing great now and living a very normal life! I cannot thank Dr. Habgood enough for all that she has done for me and my animals. I am so thankful that I scheduled that appointment with her, otherwise I may have put my cat to sleep thinking that was my only option. This was the first time I've ever had to bring a pet into a for a check up. My cat Meow does not like being out of her environment, but the staff made her feel comfortable. They were quick and explained everything they were doing and what I can do to keep Meow healthy. And reasonably priced too. Definitely bringing her back for her next checkup. Read Less

Only place in Fargo/Moorhead that will treat my chinchilla. Called around to a few vets once I noticed my little Dusty was losing weight and AHC was the only place that was recommended to treat him. Found out he had terrible teeth spurs and needed to have them filed. Yes, it's expensive but so worth it when I love my pets as much as my kids. I'm happy to say Dusty is eating well again (still extremely picky) and is steadily gaining weight. Dr. Dill was great and very informative and answered all my questions....even when I called with extra he called back with answers. So please who ever reads this let Dr. Dill know Dusty is doing great! Read Less

We lived in Fargo for 2 years and put 2 cats to sleep following the care offered by Dr Dill. He was too busy preparing to go on vacation to see Ethel who died the next day at the ER. They charge an extra fee if an appointment goes over schedule and Dr Dill sure loves to talk. What a scam. Did not find one good vet in Fargo and this overpriced place is one of the worst. Oh and ALL of the vet owners share ownership in the ER too. Another scam. My post is written on Feb 11, 2017. Let's see how long before it is removed for exposing the truth. We wouldn't ever take our pets anywhere else. Dr. Ness has provided our crew with top notch care for years. We have a boxer that has had multiple mast cell tumors and another boxer with a rare blastocytosis infection in her leg. Dr. Ben was really good at explaining my dogs issues to me in a way that i could understand. You can tell the staff truly cares, they were so helpful with my dachshund and made sure he was kept comfortable. I highly recommend this clinic if any of your fur babies are having emergency issues! I have only been to AHC twice so far, but I already know they will be our permanent place of care for our 2 dogs and cat. We were with our last vet for almost 9 years, and I never considered switching until one of our dogs needed dental surgery. Our prior vet was very rushed through the examination, we left with so many questions still, and couldn't get her in for surgery for two months. Two weeks later, our dog lost a tooth and developed an abscess, so we tried to get her in faster. Our vet was unable to adjust her appointment. That is what prompted us to look elsewhere, and I'm so glad we landed with AHC. We saw Tammy that same day and our dog was able to get into surgery with them the very next day. Tammy and all of the staff we interacted with were very helpful, caring, and reassured us that our Bella was in good hands. The building is very inviting, clean, and it doesn't have that "clinical" feeling our previous vet's office did. It is obvious that they care about your pets as much as you do, and it has been an extremely refreshing experience to have a veterinary clinic show so much compassion and care for our fur babies. She has had a few medical issues that needed to be addressed and the care she receives at AHC is always terrific, with the utmost in professionalism and friendliness. After having other vets ignore my concern for my cat's health (she has been throwing up and the other vets said it was hairballs but was very wrong), this place was amazing. The vet listened to my concerns and gave me steps to try to fix it. It made me feel so much better! She answered all my questions and even called me later when she didn't know the answer right away. Everyone is so nice here! My 13 year old cat came in for his bi weekly laser treatment for hiparthistis. Becky, vet tech, jas Aussie so relaxed, he did not want to leave! I love this clinic and Dr. Dill in particular. We lived in Grand Forks and needed a vet for our sugar gliders. Dr. Dill came up in a search for exotic pet vets, so we went to see him. I was hoping to find a closer vet to us and not have to drive to Fargo for all appointments, but I was so impressed with Dr. Dill that it made the drive worth it.
