Akron Animal Clinic

Akron, Ohio
General Info
Akron Animal Clinic in Akron is a veterinary practice that aims to deliver comprehensive and empathetic care for pets throughout the community. Located in Akron, United States, the clinic is renowned for its professionalism and reliability, which fosters a supportive atmosphere for animal health. The skilled team provides custom wellness plans, regular check-ups, and various treatments tailored to the pet’s needs. Services often include Bloodwork, Radiology (X-rays), Orthopedic Surgery, Behavioral Counseling, Grooming, Vaccinations, and Wellness Exams. These procedures focus on care and prevention. The clinic is well-equipped and minimizes stress during visits, which enhances diagnosis and treatment. Clients often highlight the staff's empathy and communication skills as key factors in establishing long-term trust for their pets' care. Akron Animal Clinic is constantly growing as a cornerstone of the Akron pet-owning community. The clinic’s professionals are always ready to help pets start their lives healthy and assist older ones with chronic medical issues. Their continuous pursuit of education and new knowledge in veterinary medicine reflects the profound passion to ensure the safety and well-being of all animals. This ensures that every pet gets the highest quality of care. The practice strives to promote responsible pet ownership and collaborates closely with the community. Akron Animal Clinic builds its veterinary approach based on the movement geometry laws in Akron. The way dogs circle or cats lean to perform certain behaviors determines every choice, which determines how Ohio acts daily. Approach pets only when they invite you to. Rather, the staff uses soft curves together with a slight body movement to the side or diagonal body angles. The startle reflex stops while the orientation trust is established. Caregivers are always positioned at a 90-degree angle in order for animals to have a comfort zone while recognizing the “medical” presence. Before any tools emerge, scientists note the blink rate and the arcs of its paws along with balance shifts. Akron Animal Clinic offers imaging services for the early detection of chronic issues, heart screening and monitoring, gastrointestinal health monitoring and adjustment, and age-related health monitoring. In order to access tolerance sequences services several steps have to be undertaken. Some animals permit humans to touch their flanks before initiating full frontal contact. Before we play the instruments, they need to be placed on the floor so others can perform better. Discharge routines (e.g., how to walk the pet out of the clinic) and home setup advice (e.g., bedding location to minimize corner-trapping risks). These techniques reduce the tendency to flee and assist the pet in regaining confidence in its spatial awareness once it returns home. Akron Animal Clinic spreads its healing care beyond Akron and into all the Ohio neighborhoods by building it into familiar angles and spaces a pet uses to recognize its surroundings.

This veterinary practice is the BEST!!! I have been a client since 1979 and my cats have had only the very best, compassionate and loving care the entire time. I would NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! The vets are also very concerned about me, ,too, and how I handle test results, both bad and good, regarding my pets. When I call when a cat is ill, I am scheduled in immediately that day. I have NEVER had to wait until the next day. Dr. Tracy McLean is the BEST!!! She is VERY compassionate, caring, knowledgable, and an excellent surgeon when working with my cats. I also like the fact that they are associated with Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital so I have a somewhere to take my cats when the office is closed on weekends and evenings. I ask for Dr. McLean to be notified and take over the supervision of my cats' care at the hospital and she is right there to take ovetr. If you are looking for a vet, go to the Akron Animal Clinic. They are the best. The receptionist, Amanda, and the vet tech, Averyl, are both knowledgable and caring and work exceptionally well alongside the vets. Dr. McLean is my primary vet but I have also had my cats to Dr. Diesem when Dr. McLean is not available and he is just as good. Read Less
