We've been going here for almost 3 years now and love it! The staff is very helpful and they have great hours. It's usually pretty easy to get an appointment too. We see Dr. Scott who is very friendly and good with our dog. The first time our dog came in he peed inside the lobby area and they were very nice about it as I apologized profusely. All of the doctors here are amazing. They are so gentle with all the animals while doing blood work and tests. My dog loves them! Unlike other vets I have been too, they don't try to push you to get the most expensive tests done or persuade you to get the newest flea Medicine. They are genuinely nice people, they actually care about you and your pet, not the money . I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends. Read Less

Horrible, not only did they misdiagnose my dog, but kept selling my wife and i meds that did nothing for him. in the end when he had to be taken to the hospital he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and died a few hours afterward... this vet is in business only for the money. not only did the doctor at the hospital call them incompetent but that it was a EASY diagnose to make. will never go to this vet again. i'd give it negative stars if i could Read Less

Just be careful that what you want for your pet is what the Vet mutually understands.  My dog went in for a general dental cleaning and had no symptoms either discussed through the office visit or evident through the dog's behavior.  No evidence of pain, bleeding gums, bad breath, etc.  My dog is only 4 years old.  Dr Scott (apparently) either had the wrong chart or simply moved forward because he "thought" he saw evidence of some symptom just beginning to show and extracted two bottom front teeth without my permission.  I am a long-time client of this practice and have never experienced such an egregious lack of communication.  Please be sure the lines of communication are clear with any action Dr Scott suggests with your pet. I have been going to Dr.McFadden for a couple of years with two different English Bulldogs who both have had tons of health problems. She is wonderful with them and very caring. My first bulldog Rudy lived to be 11 years old which is very unusual because of her help and also Dr. Hitchcock at Metro. My four year old "Rascal" has been a real challenge for both of us. My family has been going to Akron Peninsula Veterinary office to see Dr. Mann since I was just a little girl. Now my husband and I continue to take our pups there to see Dr. McFadden. They've helped my family through numerous puppy health issues and checkups. I have been going to Dr. Mann for as Long as I can Remember he is the Most Wonderful Vet and Person ! He is Kind and Compassionate and a Life saving Vet. He has saved many of my animals from the Brink of Death. I have never met a Vet that Truly cares about your Pets and your whole Family. I think I have been going to Dr.Mann for over 35 years I know the whole Staff and They are all Fabulous and Kind and Truly care about the Animals and the People. Brought my "Grand puppy" in on an emergency call, thankfully only for a sprained knee but I thought I had broken the little guy while on my watch. They let me bring him in and I was so impressed with how professionally they had handled him and how welcoming they made me feel. Will definitely return for future veterinary needs. Highly recommend!
