I was there this morning and had a wonderful visit. The staff could not be any friendlier or understanding. They made both my cat and I feel comfortable and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. I haven't had a vet experience that was this positive in a long time. I like going to this vet and they are nice people but i only have one problem u have to pay right then and there for your pet vetcost even u have pet insurance i am happy that i had the money for it but now i have to fill out my clame forum from my pet insurance so they can give me my money back and now i have to wait in till i have a enough money to get her spay but i will still go here even i have to go through all this hassal because they are nice vet and they are closer where i live at. :) Read Less

From the time Baron was a puppy, I have taken him to Buckeye Veterinary Clinic. The team there is very professional and friendly. They care about my canine family member, and for that reason I highly recommend them. If you have any questions they are all very knowledgeable and full of tips. As Baron and I are leaving to Arizona very soon, I hope I can find another AAHA accredited veterinarian that's on the same level as Buckeye. We'll miss you guys! Read Less

Every time I take my dogs to Buckeye Veterinary Clinic I always feel like they're in the best care. I never feel rushed through appointments or the staff is bothered when I ask questions. The staff is very knowledgeable and comforting. I drive 30 minutes to Buckeye because the staff always impresses me with their compassion and care. Somethings are a little more expensive to have done at Buckeye, but I don't believe they hike up the prices to make a dollar of the costumers. I truly feel Buckeye is dedicated to provided the best, safest, and comfortable care for animals. Sometimes that means overnight stays, check-up appointments, etc. I've always been given two payment options..the expensive and cheapest option. It always makes me laugh when Buckeye calls and asks for Nacho's or Pinto's mom. Yup, that's me! Read Less

Great staff! Great health care for your animals. My dog Buster has had plenty of reasons to go there as of lately. My old vet didnt seem too knowledgeable in some issues he was having. We switched after Buster somehow snapped an upper canine and a friend recommended this group to help me. Buster had both canines removed and never missed a beat. I can't say enough great things about Buckeye Veterinary Clinic! My youngest kid (cat) got really sick and I was searching for a reputable vet in the nearby area. I saw two great doctors and our technician, Kate, were so amazing to my kid and to me. They've checked in every day since his two visits and care about his health. Friendly staff! Two reasons I gave the 3 stars...when I first took my brand new puppy there they gave me this pamphlet about new puppies and different training techniques. I thought that was really nice but then I got home and looked at my receipt and they ended up charging me $7 for that piece of paper!!...KEEP TRACK OF YOUR DOGS MEDICAL RECORDS!! I took my dog there to get her second dose of heart worm medication and then they told me she also needed a rabies shot, i told them she already had her rabies shot, with them about a month prior! I had given them her medical record paper and it said she already had a rabies shot. So make sure you pay close attention to details like that because they don't! Read Less

We do now have proof that Buckeye veterinarian clinic on Manchester Road killed Zeak we now have the x-rays that prove that his spinal cord broke and the receipt from Friday the day before that proved that his bladder was not drained properly or at all PLEASE NOTE I DID TELL THEM HIS BLADDER WAS NOT WORKING! HOWEVER, they did not drain it like they should have that day and because of his bladder not being drained until Saturday afternoon it enlarged and was swelled because it was so so full of urine as I told them which caused his abdomen to swell which broke his spinal cord which killed him. I took my cat here after not being to the vet in 6 years (shame on me).  I appreciated that they didn't make me feel bad or guilty about this because I was already feeling guilty about it from myself. Very friendly, gave me lots of good information including what to keep an eye out for as my cat gets older and they were happy to answer questions I had.  Cat wasn't happy to be there but he wasn't "scarred" by the experience, as soon as we were home he was acting just as he normally would (which wasn't the case when he was younger). Unfortunately most of my friends in the area don't live close but I recommend Buckeye Vet anyway in case they're willing to do the drive! Read Less

I found a forever home in Buckeye four years ago. My cat Paisley was just a few months and wasn't feeling well, so I called Buckeye and got me in that same day. They ran tests and found out she had Pyometrea and needed immediate surgery. The next day Paisley was spayed, and that day back to her normal playful and loving self. Her incision healed purrfectly. They saved my best friend. 3 years later and I am still a Buckeye fan! I take all of my fur kids there, and now even live 45 minutes away. Buckeye is our family, always has been and always will be. This place is wonderful. The doctor's and employees care about you and your pets like they are family and friends. They are very supportive and give you advice on care for your pets. My cat needs continued care due to his diabetes and they help and advise me. They recently saved my Tigger and I am very grateful to them. They even stayed open passed regular hours for me. Dr. Cummings is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I always feel like she truly cares about my four-legged children. She provides super detailed information about my dog's condition and even prints out the written information with pictures in color, which is greatly appreciated. Having been a pet parent for more than 20 years, I find that many vets speak in jargon and it is not always easy to understand everything they say, but Dr. Cummings takes more than enough time to explain what we need to know in plain English. One minor complaint: The staff did not inform us when Dr. Cummings was not available and they had us meet with a different vet for a follow-up visit. As a result, we had to come back for another visit and have an additional exam, which cost us more time and money than necessary. It would be appreciated if they could ask their clients in advance if it'd be okay to see a different vet. Read Less

They were wonderful! Our kitty broke one of his legs and we needed to find somewhere to take him to regular appointments, so I of course googled places around me and called every single one of them (some helpful and some not so much). When I first called them one of the vet techs was very rude but the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, so we gave it a chance and their prices seemed the best. Once we got there everything about the clinic was great! The staff that we dealt with were so helpful, friendly, understanding, and just excited in their job. We will definitely continue to go there for both of our cats, and will recommend them to everyone we know with pets! Read Less
