A very rude clinic . (Lana?) the receptionist rose her voice multiple times at me, over the phone, because she simply didn't understand my request. (My cat went into labor 12 hours ago, and only had 2 kittens so far) so i asked is this normal for a 5 year old cat, expecting a quick answer i was quickly met with lana: "we dont have any opening for 3 days, you will have to take her somewhere else. ." I tried to explain to her that i just had a quick question for the vet that would take 3 seconds to answer, and she didnt get that and just kept getting more and more upset. Never once did i ask to bring her in or schedule an appointment. I just wanted to know if it was normal or not. She did finaly ask the vet and called me back but was still being extremly rude about it. And then hung up on me before she even finished her sentence. even though i live 1 minute away i will not ever be going there. The vet herself i've seen do work on my roommates cat, so i can speak that shes knowledgeable and he said she was nice, but Lana could use a lesson on manners if you want customers to come back. My dog, Alice, absolutely loves coming here, and it's 100% because of the amazing staff! The staff are seriously so great and make her feel loved and comfortable even when she's getting shots or her nails trimmed. I will never take my baby anywhere else. Read Less

We felt it was time to find a new Veterinarian for our dog so we took him here for the first time yesterday. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Andray was awesome!! (Especially with our dog acting like a wild man when it was time for his blood draw for heartworm test!!) We can confidently say we have a new Vet for our boy and since he is nearly 10 years old, that he will receive great care from this group for his remaining years. Read Less

I have been taking my dog here for a few years now, and I will continue to do so for as long as I own pets! The whole staff is helpful and caring. First off, the person, Janet F that wrote a scathing review about the practice does not have a lot of positive things to say about the other five establishments she has reviewed. Additionally, I don't appreciate her writing a review and mentioning anything negative about person(s) with a disability. On that note, I've been going to Highland Vet. for 10+ years now and I have had nothing but top notch care and the people there love their patients! We bring our yellow lab puppy here -- Dr Andray is fabulous!! After her spay we had concerns about an infection and they let me bring her right in and were sweet and comforting to me. Every time we've gone has been a great experience. I highly recommend this clinic. Read Less

This clinic only has the location going for itself.  Nothing special here.The vet attempts to find any reason to conduct tests and examinations on your animal to jack up the bill.  Don't ever feel like your leaving the appointment paying under $100.The vet, during her 'examination' simply looks at your animal, shrugs her shoulders, and runs off to let the receptionist bill you $45.  The receptionist is pleasant until you question the bill.  Then rude, snippy answers follow with closed-off impressions toward you until the credit card machine approves your payment.If you enjoy being conned out of money, and love watching the 'song and dance' routine to make you feel like they are doing you a favor, come here.  If not, stay away. I cannot give this practice a high enough rating for the service they've given me and my pets.  Two other clinics had been unable to diagnose my dog's condition but Dr. Andray was able on our first visit.  I've taken my dog and cat here for several years and have had a wonderful experience with each visit.  Dr. Andray and the rest of the staff care about my pets as if they were their own.  I am very lucky to have found them. I took my sick cat to this vet office a few months ago and left with a proper diagnosis, medication and good advice. The receptionist and vet tech were both friendly and seemed efficient. The doctor made her diagnosis very quickly without the need of any expensive tests.My cat was feeling better 24 hours after I administered her medicine and it was a happy ending. I would return to this office if my pets fall sick again. Read Less

Dr. O'Connor is one of the best vets I have ever taken my dog too.  My dog had some health problems throughout his life and Dr. O'Connor was always very compassionate and provided information so I could make the best decisions for me and my dog.  My dog, despite his health issues lived to be almost 14.  I now have a new puppy and wouldn't consider taking him anywhere else. I would stay away from this Vet Clinic.  The front staff was nice and the facilities looked decent.  The veterinarian however I could care less about.  She will TRY and TRY to find something wrong with your animal or TRY and TRY to sell you Heartworm medicine that is way overpriced.  Just seems a little shady to me.  She'll order tests and do things when the animal is asymptomatic.  I ended up with a huge bill for tests done when my dog was completely asymptomatic.  I would stay away from this place.
