I took My dog here to be put down. she was 15 and could no longer see or walk. They were very short with me and didn't really seem to have any empathy or care for the situation. I mean i had her since i was ten and she was part of the family. i at least wanted to be shown respect. i had her in the back of my explorer with blankets and pillows so they said the Dr could come out and give her the shot so i wouldn't have to carry her in. (she weighed about 85lbs) so then the Dr comes out and can barely speak English. then he gives her a shot and she started convulsing and screaming and yelping. the Dr then said something i could not understand and ran back inside. I sat there with my dog who was obviously in more pain than i have ever been in for at least two minutes but seemed like an hour. she was convulsing and screaming the entire time. the he came back out told me to hold her down and gave her another shot. My only pet and best friend of 15 years died screaming and convulsing in pain because of their ignorance. and all he said was thank you and he walked inside. that was 3 years ago and i am still horrified. If you value your pet, find another vet. these people are rude, inexperienced, and unsympathetic. I still cannot believe that happened. It makes me sick to even talk about it. but you people need to know this.

Dropped my cat off to get neutered yesterday. I was told "no news is good news." He was going to stay overnight. I called to check on him anyway and they closed up shop over an hour early. The number on the voicemail to check on a pet wasn't connected. We agreed I'd pick him up between 10:30-11 the next day. They claim they open at 9, but all the doors were locked and the lights off when I arrived at 10:30. The phone went to voicemail, which sounded like the receptionists personal voicemail. I walked around the building, pounding on all doors because I figured if they were keeping my cat overnight someone would be there to observe him. No one came to any doors. I sat in the parking lot for over 40 minutes. Finally the receptionist called back and said she would be there in 10-15 minutes and that she was running late. The place should have been opened an hour and a half before I even arrived!

I have taken 1 cat to be declawed and fixed and 2 dogs to be fixed. I am taking another dog there this week to get fixed. Both the Doctor and Tammy, the receptionist, are very caring and kind to the animals. They treat them as if they are their own. And the fees are also very reasonable. I would recommend them to everyone.

I wouldn't recommend using this doctor. He did an unnecessary surgery on my dog, putting her through a lot of pain for what amounted to nothing, and then charging me $625. A month after the operation I took my dog to another doctor to be put to sleep, because she had fast growing malignant cancer. Also to every charge the doctor adds sloppy $25 and while verbally it was agreed to $625 I was charged $675. When I confronted his secretary about extra $50 she gave me the refund without an apology. This doctor and his secretary work together to charge you as much as they can for their services.

i recently had to take my pet to a new pet doctor,,,,on the advice of a good friend i tried ameila pet clinic. I was very pleased with the staffs profesional attitude as well as the doctor taking a few minutes out of his very busy day to talk to me about my dog;.. long story short i felt my pet received exellent care at a resonable price and I will recommend this clinic to friends and associates.

The first time i went to Amelia Pet Clinic at the reccomendation of my friend. Walking in the reception area felt very homely. It appeared that my dog was also calm. i was very satisfied with the services rendered. Since then i have taken multible cats and dogs for Spays,Nueters,Dentals and medical care. The prices for the services have been very resonable and the care rendered to my pet was excellent. I highly reccomended my friends and coworkers to take there pets there also.

I took My dog here to be put down. she was 15 and could no longer see or walk. They were very short with me and didn't really seem to have any empathy or care for the situation.
