Called this hospital early morning when they opened. Our dog was bleeding from her rectum and in horrible pain through the night. Her lifeless body just laid there in pain and agony while she moaned and groaned in horrible pain. I called and spoke to a woman, my very first question was is there a doctor there to operate? I have been going to Family Animal Hospital for years. The doctors are outstanding and the staff superior. You are not an account there, you are a friend. Several weeks ago my mother's 11 yr old poodle crossed the Rainbow Bridge with the help of Dr. Jennie Bard. I have been fortunate enough to have dogs in my family, as well as lost many. The experience of holding my mother's best friend with Dr. Bard was incomparable. I've never experienced such empathy. I am so glad I found this vet for my 2 cats. The doctors and staff are great and have taken great care of my cats. One of my cats had some bladder issues and even though it took some trial and error to get him healthy again, the whole time I felt like they genuinely cared about him. I asked a lot of questions when we were trying to figure out what was wrong with his bladder but they never tried to rush me and took as much time as needed to address all my concerns. I have been a client with this office for a few years. My dog was getting up in age, and I told the vet When the time came she would let me know and I would help her pass peacefully. The vet said he didnt offer a mobile service but had some associates who did and he would get me contact info. Well, that time came, and I called them for the info, they gave me ONE number to a mobile vet an hour away that couldnt make it. I contacted my equine vet who put me in contact with Rolling Hills Veterinary, and they came to my home that day and took care of my sweet girl and my family. They were like angels coming to take her home, and I wasnt their client! Ironically two days later I receive coupons in the mail from FMH. No thanks.. I gave you enough of my business and referred people to you! And in return got a cold shoulder at the worst possible time..And coupons. I wont be returning anytime soon.
