I noticed my cat, Lilly, was urinating frequently in small amounts and then noticed blood in her urine. I contacted MetroPet Vet clinic via pet desk. They were able to get her into the clinic immediately! In my opinion the emergency visit fee was very reasonable!
Once we arrived, Doctor Alice seen and assessed Lilly in a timely manner. The tech (I forgot her name) was wonderful! Lilly was treated with antibiotics and pain meds. The tech was able to explain all of the discharge information and answered all my questions.
The staff are very knowledgeable and compassionate. I'm so happy they were able to see her the same day I contacted them!! All the staff at this location have been amazing during our visits here! Lilly is back home and seems comfortable now.

Dr. Alice and staff are wonderful. They always treat our furry friends as if they are the most special animals they've ever seen. They are extremely thorough and take the time to review their exams, discuss results, and make sure we understand everything we need to know about our pets' health. We would highly recommend Metropet.
*UPDATE* We recently had to make the heart wrenching decision to put down one of our beloved dogs. He just flipped, and bit me several times through my sweatshirt breaking the skin 3 times and bruising my arms terribly. We didn’t know what to do, because after he flipped, he settled down and acted normal. We decided to make an appointment to talk with Dr. Alice. We knew that Dr. Alice would not recommend euthanasia unless it was absolutely necessary. After talking with her, we came to the conclusion that our dog had become a safety issue, to our family, my husband and I and our kids, as well as to others. Unfortunately, he was a rescue so we didn’t have much background information on him. His aggression was getting progressively worse and had reached a tipping point when he bit me multiple times. Dr. Alice and her staff were absolutely WONDERFUL. They let us have time with our Cooper, they let us give him basically every treat in the room we were in :) we took lots of pictures, and we stayed with him for as long as we wanted and then while he was given a tranquilizer so he would go to sleep. ( They tranquilize the animal before giving them the final shot, so we were able to stay with him while he knew we were there, but did not have to stay for his final moments.) It was absolutely heartbreaking and I think everyone in the office was crying or choked up when we left. They were all beyond accommodating, offering water and tissues, knowing that it was extremely painful for us to have to let Cooper go. We know that we made the right decision, even though it was extremely hard, and it helped to know that our vet backed up and supported our decision. We cannot thank them enough for helping us through that.
Our new happy news is that after grieving for Cooper, we were apple to rescue a new puppy 2 weeks ago. She has already had her first appointment at MetroPet and she received the care and warm family welcome that we are accustomed to. I still, HIGHLY recommend MetroPet Veterinary Clinic. I promise, if you trust them with your furbabies, you will not be sorry.

Just went today. Appt was for 5. They were slammed and all rooms full even at 530, lady at front said they were overbooked. Just came to get vaccines and didn't get in until 535 had to leave work earl...
Just went today. Appt was for 5. They were slammed and all rooms full even at 530, lady at front said they were overbooked. Just came to get vaccines and didn't get in until 535 had to leave work early to make it by 5 so that was a little frustrating. They charged 5 dollars per needle to dispose of the needle, if I would've known that I would have disposed of myself. They also refused to approve my meds when the exact same meds were 25 percent off the vets price online.No other vet I've been to has been like this.BEWARE the high reviews.

I can hardly believe it is almost 5 years since Dr. Alice took over leadership at MetroPet, and I am thrilled at what a great job she is doing for our best fur friends. Dr. Alice and Dr. Kim are loving, caring and competent veterinarians. Dr. Alice has improved the hospital in many ways, including laser surgery, laser therapy, digital x-rays, advanced dentistry, pocket pet and exotic pet medicine, taking the practice to the next level. MetroPet is the only clinic offering digital x-rays in the Berea area!! I am also amazed that 2016 will be the 30 year anniversary of MetroPet. I really miss the great pet parents and their pets, as well as the wonderful staff. And of course I will continue to trust the doctors and staff at MetroPet with the health of my own pets!

Metropet is the only vet clinic I would allow to take care of my dog. The entire staff take interest in the pet and the owner. They provide detailed information about the examinations and recommended procedures. Their aftercare phone calls mean a lot--they care about the pet and want the owner to know they will do whatever is necessary should further care be needed.

Excellent staff. Doctor Jones was very thorough and gave us all our options for our pets care. She even had hot dog bits in her pocket to help keep our dog calm and engaged. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We had to wait for test results and one of the techs brought our dog a bowl of water while we waited. Even gave him a couple of treats. The waiting room is very inviting. They even had pumpkins decorated by the staff which you could vote on. Great experience for us and our pet!!

The advice and treatments from the Veterinarians have always been the right course of action to help my pets stay in good health. I love my dog as if it were my child, and I trust Metropet with any health issues that may come up. This veterinary clinic is amazing. They are so helpful and attentive to their patients. I took my sick cat in there on a same day appointment and they did an examine, gave him medication and food to help him. They called to check on him twice and everyone was so nice and concerned about my furry kid. I will be moving all my fur babies to this clinic. They also have a cool app to make appointments and track your pets records. So cool. I recommend them if you live on the west side!!

This is the best vet that I have ever been to by far. I haven't met a staff member who I don't like. They are all very pleasant and truly look after your pet as if it were their own.
I also like how they place follow-up phone calls from when you are seen regarding a particular issue. This is great as they want to make sure the treatment regimen is working.
Scheduling appointments is very easy and they even use an app where you can basically see your pets medical record along with future and past appointments.

First time visitor and first time dog owner. Pepper is a recent rescue (SPCA) and needed a wellness check and a variety of vaccinations. We were very pleased with the courtesy of the staff and the helpfulness of Dr. Kim. Pepper has some behavioral issues that Dr. Kim very patiently discussed with us. We are hopeful that we can develop a long and happy relationship with our new dog and Dr. Kim.

I have been with this vet for about 3 years and they have been great. Routine visits have been good but usually takes a while to see the doc. My one dog was ill and they helped me very patiently get him back on his feet. I just got a new dog that had some issues and they are working with me help her. They have made sure I stay well informed with any of my dogs conditions and treatments. All the staff is kind and answers my questions. I haven't used the app but I appreciate the email reminders when my dog is due for a visit.

Awesome care. The entire staff is wonderful. Very compassionate to your pet. They take the time to explain and answer any questions that you may have about your pets care. I never feel hurried with our time with the vets. We have a challenging cat that hates most people and they are very kind to her and take extra time and care with her. Love this place and it's staff!! :)

I moved to Berea 2 1/2 years ago, I wanted to find a new veterinarian for our 4 year old yellow lab Josie. I asked a few friends from the area, they recommend Metropet Veterinary Clinic. I did some research online for reviews, anything I found was positive so I made an appointment. From our first appointment to our most current a week ago I couldn't be happier with all of the staff, they treat our Josie girl with kindness and if she was their own, and the doctors always get her feeling better. I also appreciate the fact they go above and beyond explaining what is going on with her being sick and go over all the options of treatment so I know what's being done and what those thinks are going to cost up front, no surprises. Overall I love Metropet and look forward to many more years of them keeping my Josie healthy.

Most of the staff at Metropet are friendly and kind. They always give me a detailed estimate with "low end" and "high end," noting which items are strongly recommended and which are more optional. While I greatly appreciate this consideration for us on tight budgets, the fact remains that their prices are higher than most I've seen. I also had one very unpleasant interaction with a tech who essentially bullied me into getting a rabies shot for my cat. Now, I fully understand that the shot is required legally, and that it was her job to make this clear to me. I was planning on getting the shot anyway. But the tech absolutely did not need to stare me down and tell me "if you don't get this shot, and your cat bites me, he will be taken away, killed, and have his head chopped off for analysis." First of all, this is really only half true. But more importantly it's just a totally inappropriate way to talk to a customer and worried pet owner. Bedside manner has a place at vet clinics, too, and this tech had absolutely none. Again, every other staff member is great. But this one tech left an awful taste in my mouth and I likely won't be back because of her.Oh, and I tried to redeem the $20 off deal listed at the top of the Yelp page but the person who prepared my bill said she didn't know what I was talking about and wouldn't take the discount.

The team at Metropet are truly a caring bunch. I have been brining my two dogs to Dr. Alice for years! She has helped create a regime of pills and diet for my dog with seizures and had an early stage of cancer plus just old age that kept her healthy for much longer than anticipated.I've never felt pressured to use unneeded medication or to put her down because she is high maintanance. I appreciate the education I get from the team about current medications or injections without the pressure of administering them. That way I can make a truly informed decision about the health of my dog. I couldn't ask for more !

Metropet is a wonderful place to take your animals! I have a dog and have been taking him there since he was a puppy and they staff has always been wonderful - nice, attentive and good at what they do. The practice has recently been taken over by Dr Alice and she is the best. I am very impressed by her. I brought my dog in for some growths on his paws and while he was not very cooperative, Dr Alice and the staff were. She was not concerned at all that she had to work extra hard just to examine my dog and actually apologized to me for the inconvenience even though it was my dog's fault! What really impressed me is all the research she did on what was wrong with him. She scoured every available resource to find out what was going on. I don't think many vets take the time to do that. She followed up with me as she said she would and kept me updated. Additionally, I find Metropets prices very reasonable. They are locally owned, not part of a corporate vet hospital so they are able to keep their prices down. Dr. Alice told me to get my prescription filled at Gian Eagle because it would be cheaper. I really appreciated that. This is definitely a vet worth taking your beloved animal to.

I noticed my cat, Lilly, was urinating frequently in small amounts and then noticed blood in her urine. I contacted MetroPet Vet clinic via pet desk. They were able to get her into the clinic immediately! In my opinion the emergency visit fee was very reasonable!

Excellent staff. Doctor Jones was very thorough and gave us all our options for our pets care. She even had hot dog bits in her pocket to help keep our dog calm and engaged. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We had to wait for test results and one of the techs brought our dog a bowl of water while we waited. Even gave him a couple of treats. The waiting room is very inviting. They even had pumpkins decorated by the staff which you could vote on. Great experience for us and our pet!!

Nothing but good things to say about Metropet Veterinary Clinic. I have been taking my dogs to see them for years. The entire staff are always helpful, loving, and care for animals very deeply. The advice and treatments from the Veterinarians have always been the right course of action to help my pets stay in good health. I love my dog as if it were my child, and I trust Metropet with any health issues that may come up. This veterinary clinic is amazing. They are so helpful and attentive to their patients. I took my sick cat in there on a same day appointment and they did an examine, gave him medication and food to help him. They called to check on him twice and everyone was so nice and concerned about my furry kid. I will be moving all my fur babies to this clinic. They also have a cool app to make appointments and track your pets records. So cool. I recommend them if you live on the west side!!

This is the best vet that I have ever been to by far. I haven't met a staff member who I don't like. They are all very pleasant and truly look after your pet as if it were their own.
I also like how they place follow-up phone calls from when you are seen regarding a particular issue. This is great as they want to make sure the treatment regimen is working.
Scheduling appointments is very easy and they even use an app where you can basically see your pets medical record along with future and past appointments.

First time visitor and first time dog owner. Pepper is a recent rescue (SPCA) and needed a wellness check and a variety of vaccinations. We were very pleased with the courtesy of the staff and the helpfulness of Dr. Kim. Pepper has some behavioral issues that Dr. Kim very patiently discussed with us. We are hopeful that we can develop a long and happy relationship with our new dog and Dr. Kim.

I have been with this vet for about 3 years and they have been great. Routine visits have been good but usually takes a while to see the doc. My one dog was ill and they helped me very patiently get him back on his feet. I just got a new dog that had some issues and they are working with me help her. They have made sure I stay well informed with any of my dogs conditions and treatments. All the staff is kind and answers my questions. I haven't used the app but I appreciate the email reminders when my dog is due for a visit.

Awesome care. The entire staff is wonderful. Very compassionate to your pet. They take the time to explain and answer any questions that you may have about your pets care. I never feel hurried with our time with the vets. We have a challenging cat that hates most people and they are very kind to her and take extra time and care with her. Love this place and it's staff!! :)

I moved to Berea 2 1/2 years ago, I wanted to find a new veterinarian for our 4 year old yellow lab Josie. I asked a few friends from the area, they recommend Metropet Veterinary Clinic. I did some research online for reviews, anything I found was positive so I made an appointment. From our first appointment to our most current a week ago I couldn't be happier with all of the staff, they treat our Josie girl with kindness and if she was their own, and the doctors always get her feeling better. I also appreciate the fact they go above and beyond explaining what is going on with her being sick and go over all the options of treatment so I know what's being done and what those thinks are going to cost up front, no surprises. Overall I love Metropet and look forward to many more years of them keeping my Josie healthy.

Most of the staff at Metropet are friendly and kind. They always give me a detailed estimate with "low end" and "high end," noting which items are strongly recommended and which are more optional. While I greatly appreciate this consideration for us on tight budgets, the fact remains that their prices are higher than most I've seen. I also had one very unpleasant interaction with a tech who essentially bullied me into getting a rabies shot for my cat. Now, I fully understand that the shot is required legally, and that it was her job to make this clear to me. I was planning on getting the shot anyway. But the tech absolutely did not need to stare me down and tell me "if you don't get this shot, and your cat bites me, he will be taken away, killed, and have his head chopped off for analysis." First of all, this is really only half true. But more importantly it's just a totally inappropriate way to talk to a customer and worried pet owner. Bedside manner has a place at vet clinics, too, and this tech had absolutely none. Again, every other staff member is great. But this one tech left an awful taste in my mouth and I likely won't be back because of her.Oh, and I tried to redeem the $20 off deal listed at the top of the Yelp page but the person who prepared my bill said she didn't know what I was talking about and wouldn't take the discount.

The team at Metropet are truly a caring bunch. I have been brining my two dogs to Dr. Alice for years! She has helped create a regime of pills and diet for my dog with seizures and had an early stage of cancer plus just old age that kept her healthy for much longer than anticipated.I've never felt pressured to use unneeded medication or to put her down because she is high maintanance. I appreciate the education I get from the team about current medications or injections without the pressure of administering them. That way I can make a truly informed decision about the health of my dog. I couldn't ask for more !

Everyone at this clinic makes you feel that your pet is special to them. Both vets are very gentle and calming. My skittish cat sat quietly while his stitches were removed, which we found amazing.

Metropet is a wonderful place to take your animals! I have a dog and have been taking him there since he was a puppy and they staff has always been wonderful - nice, attentive and good at what they do. The practice has recently been taken over by Dr Alice and she is the best. I am very impressed by her. I brought my dog in for some growths on his paws and while he was not very cooperative, Dr Alice and the staff were. She was not concerned at all that she had to work extra hard just to examine my dog and actually apologized to me for the inconvenience even though it was my dog's fault! What really impressed me is all the research she did on what was wrong with him. She scoured every available resource to find out what was going on. I don't think many vets take the time to do that. She followed up with me as she said she would and kept me updated. Additionally, I find Metropets prices very reasonable. They are locally owned, not part of a corporate vet hospital so they are able to keep their prices down. Dr. Alice told me to get my prescription filled at Gian Eagle because it would be cheaper. I really appreciated that. This is definitely a vet worth taking your beloved animal to.

The girls at MetroPet do a great job with my dog, who is very nervous about going to the vets. They put him at ease right away, and Doctor Alice was great at keeping him calm. Their prices are pretty reasonable, and they have always worked with my budget. Top notch vets.
