I had recently switched vets and gone to Apple Hill. Long story short Dr. Grossman was extremely nice, honest and was straight forward with me. The tests she ran took a short amount of time and everything was explained clearly to me. Yes , it was a little more costly than I would like but maintainable in my budget being a student and working part time. I am new to Apple Hill vet hospital. I love the care I have gotten for my dog. Dr. Burge is amazing. He has an amazing concern for the animals. I can attest to that when my dog had to have a lump removed. He was available if I had any concerns or questions. He made sure we talked before the procedure and he called me aftetwards to let me know how things went. Briget, the vet tech is amazing too. She is definitely an advocate for the animals and her dedication goes above and beyond. I trust her with her caring ways and her knowledge with my dog. They also incorporate cold Lazer therapy. It great for many things, but it was used in my dog post op to help with wound healing. I love that they are using more "natural" ways to help with healing. I don't have any real experience with the other vet techs or Dr's there, but I am sure they are as caring as well. I highly recommend Apple Hil for your pets needs.Read Less

I think the Doctor's truly care about the pets well being. He talked with my 4 year old grandson and took time to explain what he was doing. Didn't just rush us through like a number. I recommend taking your pet to them for care. Read Less

I have been taking my many many pets to Applehill Animal Hospital for almost 30 years now. Dr Burge is THE most compassionate man on this planet. His love of animals is so genuine. We had to put Tigger down it was the hardest decision I ever had to make. He was 16 and loved so much. The staff and the Doctor, they all were very caring and compassionate. They allowed us to take all the time we needed to say goodbye to my handsome man Tigger. We so appreciate everything. They treated Tigger like it was their pet. Five stars! Read Less

Has appointment with he owner and he must have decided not to see my dog. Staff said her was not there but I saw him there. Replacement doctor read notes and determined my dog had mange(which she did not). Would never go back there Read Less

My dog's third eyelid was coming up uncontrollably and they thought it might be a birth defect with her liver. We adjusted her diet and paid the hundreds of dollars for the various tests they wanted to do. In the end they were unable to determine the cause of the problem and referred us to a neurologist who wanted to perform an MRI on her. We decided to get a second opinion before taking such a big step. The second vet easily diagnosed it as an allergy to pine trees and the problem was solved with a $5 box of benadryl. Obviously I was less than impressed with their ability to treat my dog and wish they would have tried simple remedies before taking such drastic steps. My dog was put through a lot of unnecessary stress. Also, in comparing their prices to Banfield Pet Hospital in Parma (where we go now) I was mad that I did not shop around before taking her to Apple Hill. The prices are outrageous. We would have saved hundreds of dollars had we signed our pup up for Banfield's wellness plan sooner. I have never had a problem quickly getting my accident prone dog into Banfield and they are always friendly. Read Less

They are always friendly and are accommodating when you call with a sick pet. They will work with your financial needs as well. They are not the cheapest but they are quality and you get what you pay for. Read Less
