I have been taking my dachshund to here for over 3 years now. We recently got a second dog and have taken him here too. Dr. Pentello is awesome. She is very nurturing with the animals and she will answer any questions you have. This vet is also very reasonable with their prices. Other vets in Pickerington overcharge for their shots and visits. They also have evening hours which is a plus. Read Less

I called Pickerington Animal Hospital on a Monday in order to get my feline in that day hopefully.   He had what I thought was pink eye.   They not only got him in that day but that morning even.   The vet examined him, gave him a shot of antibiotic, put drops in his eyes and sent us home with the bottle of antibiotic.   I really liked the fact that Dr. Pentello didn't run any unnecessary tests on him when this first course of medicine seems to have helped him.   She recommended that I get l-lysine for him also.   My buddy is as good as new!   Also, Pickerington Animal Hospital helped me when my 15 yr. tabby cat passed away last summer.  They took care of the cremation arrangements for me; so now that beloved kitty is in a beautiful Cherry box for me to remember him by.   They even sent me a nice sympathy card.   I would definitely recommend this vet hospital to anyone looking for a place to help your furry companions. Ever since appoints were added to the evening office hours, this place has improved greatly.  Prior to that happening, it was first come, first served.....which meant it was a mad house of dogs & cats, barking and hissing at each other in a cramped waiting area.  Whew, thank god appointments were added! Dr. Gesel is amazing.  He has been the family vet for as long as I can remember.  He is no nonsense and priced fairly.  He takes good care of the furry friend that I call my daughter, Chloe.
