My pets have been going here for over 19 years. They truly care about your, your family and your pets. They treat you like family. Recently my 3 and a half year old aussie/border/lab mix was having nose bleeds. His doctor (vet) immediately got him in and was quick to find out the necessary lab work, tests, and x-rays that were needed to diagnose him. I love this place.

We use this vet for all of our animals (5 cats and 1 dog). They are always so kind and curteous. They work with our aggressive dog, are sensitive about putting furr babies to sleep, and are willing to emergency appointments for special cases when possible. They also have much lower prices than other places I have seen. Love this vet office!

Today was the first grooming experience for my dog, so naturally she was very nervous. Five minutes after I left, the groomer called saying Ali was being too aggressive and that they wouldn't cut her ...
Today was the first grooming experience for my dog, so naturally she was very nervous. Five minutes after I left, the groomer called saying Ali was being too aggressive and that they wouldn't cut her hair. She told me I'd have to reschedule, so they could sedate her (for $56 more). In less than 5 minutes these "professionals" gave up on my dog. She's young and nervous, so of course she's gonna freak out a little in that situation. Why not let her chill out in a cage for a while, so she could mellow out? If they would've given Ali some time to adjust to the environment, I wouldn't have to look for a new groomer. It's a shame, because Mellett's doctors are great. I was hoping for a one-stop shop for Ali.

Good people. Very knowledgeable. When I had to put my black lab Oscar down it was the worst day of my life. They had me come in at end of day so we were the only ones there. They didn't bill me at the time rather they sent me a bill. Before the bill they sent a sympathy card. Very classy. I will never go to another vet.

If you have to take your pet to the vet, this is a great choice. You can tell the staff really cares about animals. My German Shepard loves Dr Hickman.

Dr. Hickman is the best vet ever! He is compassionate and obviously has not forgotten the reason he be came a vet. The staff there is awesome as well.

This office is wonderful. My dog had a very serious surgery, and his Vet and Vet techs gave me information and kept me updated during every step. My dog pulled through and they are the reason for this. Their staff is so friendly and helpful. I can't recommend Mellett Animal Hospital enough!

This was our first time to use mellet and will certainly not be the last.From the point of walking thru the door to the point of picking our baby's up we couldn't be more happy. My pets have been going here for over 19 years. They truly care about your, your family and your pets. They treat you like family. Recently my 3 and a half year old aussie/border/lab mix was having nose bleeds. His doctor (vet) immediately got him in and was quick to find out the necessary lab work, tests, and x-rays that were needed to diagnose him. I love this place.

We use this vet for all of our animals (5 cats and 1 dog). They are always so kind and curteous. They work with our aggressive dog, are sensitive about putting furr babies to sleep, and are willing to emergency appointments for special cases when possible. They also have much lower prices than other places I have seen. Love this vet office!

Today was the first grooming experience for my dog, so naturally she was very nervous. Five minutes after I left, the groomer called saying Ali was being too aggressive and that they wouldn't cut her hair. She told me I'd have to reschedule, so they could sedate her (for $56 more). In less than 5 minutes these "professionals" gave up on my dog. She's young and nervous, so of course she's gonna freak out a little in that situation. Why not let her chill out in a cage for a while, so she could mellow out? If they would've given Ali some time to adjust to the environment, I wouldn't have to look for a new groomer. Good people. Very knowledgeable. When I had to put my black lab Oscar down it was the worst day of my life. They had me come in at end of day so we were the only ones there. They didn't bill me at the time rather they sent me a bill. Before the bill they sent a sympathy card. Very classy. I will never go to another vet.
