I had to bring my dog in today due to an allergic reaction to an unknown substance. She had facial swelling and was treated promptly as they felt it was a true threat to her airway.
The office was extremely busy operating on what sounded like a 4-6 hour wait, but there were a couple of other animals that arrived who were also triaged and taken back for assessment and treatment immediately.
In any ER you never want to be the first one treated but despite the bad situation it went about as smooth as it could go!

We've had to take all three dogs here at one point or another. They've always been friendly and open, even during the #coughpocalypse.
Our latest trip was the saddest, as our 17 year old miniature schnauzer, Luna, was too far gone to be saved. The staff was very caring and compassionate, both with me over the phone, and with my fiancé who took Luna there. This was the first dog she'd had to let go, and they consoled her and let me do all the paperwork remotely to make the pain easier.
Highly recommended and very affordable for an ER vet.

This place is a joke! All they care about is making you wait, taking your money and not answering their phone. We called ahead to take our cat there on a weekend and was told it was a 1 hour wait time. We arrive and call to check in and we were then told it was a 4 hour wait time because the vet was going into emergency surgery. We waited in our car for 4 hours and they finally came out to tell us they could take our cat in but it would be another 4 hours or so before he could be seen because the vet was going into surgery. I said We were told the vet was going into surgery 4 hours ago. She stumbled on her words and said well the vet got held up. Our cat ended up having to spend 3 days there and having surgery. It was the worst 3 days trying to get ahold of these people. I spent a straight 3 hours trying to call them for an update and the phone rang busy the entire time. Once they did answer the phone the staff was rude and all they worried about was making sure they told you the cost of the bill so far and getting payment right then and there over the phone. They have no compassion for the pet owner and the trauma ourselves and our cat were going through. Not to mention the cost of the bill was over $3,600. Once our cat was ready to come home they told us to call before we got there to make sure he was ready. We called before we left for an hour drive there and ended up still waiting almost 2 hours for them to bring him out. They said in 10-14 days to bring him back to have his staples removed. We did so and they kept telling us they were to busy for that to call back tomorrow. Very unprofessional and just an all around horrible place! I will NEVER take another one of my pets there and I don't recommend anyone to go there! I wouldn't even give this place 1 star!

I took my 11 year old lab mix to this ER clinic back on June 2, 2021. My pup had thrown up and was salivating and I couldn't get into my regular vet till the following week. We took a sample of his vomit as there appeared to be something in it that didn't look right after an x-ray and no obstruction was found all they could do was give my guy a shot for the naseau and tall us the object looked like a raw hide. Which we told them we don't have raw hides in our house nor do we give or pups any as we are aware they are not healthy for them. So after spending $500 I had no answers as to why my guy was sick or what it was that he had thrown up. Needless to say it was very frustrating and I was very disappointed with the care we received and I will never take my fur babies there. I will go to Akron Medvet.

Thank goodness for emergency clinics like Stark. For all the people who say they are money hungry please remember having a pet whom you are responsible for is a luxury not a requirement. I have two because that all I can afford and I use care credit for my vet services when I don't have the money up front. It's absurd the amount of people complaining reviews on here how clinics expect money for the services provided, duh how do you think they can pay the staff, doctors and stay in business.

Took our 9 year old fur baby in on Saturday for an eye injury. His eye ended up needing removed, which is what we anticipated, and he stayed overnight. The reception staff was very very friendly. We loved the vet who did his surgery. She clearly explained our options and answered all our questions. Yes, you pay for services in advance, but that is how nearly every emergency vet operates. I thought the price was reasonable for what the surgery involved. I had to call a few days later with a follow up question and the receptionist remembered us and our dog. She got the answers we needed from the vet and was extremely helpful. (Drainage from surgery area). We are 100% satisfied and if we needed another emergency visit, we would drive the extra distance to use them again.

I was able to give size, history, breed.. anything they needed to just give me an idea. I figured they could ask a vet.. what's the point if they refuse help. I wouldn't trust my pet to somewhere that doesn't even attempt to do there job.

I had to rush my car Max to this emergency facility when his back legs stopped working. I did not have the money on me to pay, as I didn’t get paid until the next following morning. They took him in immediately. Unfortunately max’s Congenital heart disease has put a blood clot from his heart and he was in dire pain with no way to save him. They were kind to me and so very helpful and sympathetic. I held my cat as they put him to sleep. Worst thing I have every seen or been through. They are a caring place that will do what they can to get your animal the best treatmentwithout being turned away because you can’t pay up front . Thank you stark emergency

Nothing but a bunch of money hungry fools that don't care about your pet. I took my dog in Saturday since our regular vet wasn't open. I was told by the vet that my dog had a couple days left at best if we didn't do something for her. I told the vet my budget and was trying to gather the rest of the money for her medical bill. My pup is worth a million dollars to me and I would do anything in the world to save her. Within 4 hours of my dog of being there she took her last breath because these heartless cowards put the almighty dollar ahead of trying to save an animal. They refused to give any support to her until we had the funds available. After my dog passed they had the audacity to sit there with their hands out wanting paid. Their price was over the budget I had on me. I owed an extra $268 that was never talked about until payment time came. I let them know I did not have it and would not have it until the following Friday. I am scheduled to pick up my pups ashes on Monday and had no problem paying them at the time I pick her up. They refused. Thankfully I had a friend willing to loan me the money to pay these wastes of flesh. I wish I would of read the reviews of this place before taking my pup there. If you care about your pet in the least bit DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!

Any cause to visit an emergency pet clinic can be a trying event. However, I was very pleased and comfortable with this facility. From the time I initially contacted them by phone, they were very professional, kind, and sincere. It was a very busy night and one can expect delays. However, I knew in my own mind, my dog Murphy was beyond any chance of recovery, so the wait was acceptable. Pets with a slight chance of recovery need attention first. The girls at the front desk were very accommodating, answered all of my questions, informed me of my options, and served me with respect and kindness. I would like to mention a young lady that was extra kind to me and showed true compassion and her love of animals at this most heartbreaking time. Her name was Danielle and worked as a technician. She was so sweet. Many comments that have rated this facility are of a negative nature, pointing towards attitude, caring and overpricing. I don't understand the mentality of some of these individuals that write such comments, other than mean attitudes and hatred in their time of sadness. Every pet owner wishes to take their buddy to their own vet, but this is not always possible. I am just thankful that this facility is nearby and available. I would highly recommend them in a time of need. Give your pets a big hug today while they are still with you!

This place is horrible. If i could rate 0 stars or negative i would. I called to take my dog there yesterday they told me i would need $78 for the exam and the rest of the money up front but wouldnt know the total cost until they did the exam. I couldnt get my check until this morning and i told them the severity of my dogs situation and offered to even give them my car title as collateral until the next morning when i could have paid for the services i was told they arent a title loan office. So this morning i went up with my dog and money in hand and when i walked in the office i was told the vet wouldnt be there until 6pm and i should be ashamed of myself for not seeking attention yesterday when i called (and was begging and pleading for them to please see my dog) i told them they should be ashamed for not seeing my dog because i didnt have $78 yesterday. On my way out the door i was told i might like a cheaper vet because they are expensive (i must say i felt like pretty woman when the rich snooty b!tches wouldn't let her shop) like im low class. I found a wonderful practice who helped me today and they are truly caring people they took my dog and didnt ask for payment upfront and worked out a payment plan with me also i wasnt even charged for extra services they provided. This place needs to change their name to Chase Bank because they do only care about money..not your fur babys or your feelings..they made me feel like a low class peice of trash and then blamed me for their greed. Will never go back they are low life individuals shame on them. My dog is home tonight sleeping after his hard couple of days.

Everyone that we came into contact at this facility was wonderful, until the very end when we had to check out. My sister, my father, and I had decided to put our family dog down. As I was was already crying during the lobby, the receptionist told me how much it was. I had NEVER been to a vets office, let alone an ER vet, so I had no idea of the cost. She told me the price and I repeated because I was shocked. She then proceeded to tell me "well you could be leaving with a $3-$4k bill." I then shot back with "and those people are leaving with a healthy animal" I CANNOT believe that this woman proceeded to say that me while I was crying, knowing what we had decided. Needless to say, we took our family dog to another facility that was so compassionate not only towards our family member, but towards us as well. Thank you to the staff at this facility, however, the front of the house needs some work!!

I think the staff was very nice but they were not very informative. i had no idea what i was getting into when taking my dog to have surgery. They did not express what the complications were could happen. I had no idea after paying $3700 for the surgery and the after care that my dog may need multiple surgeries at $2200 each. I don't feel like they watched my dog very closely after her surgery because if they did they would have noticed a lot sooner that something was wrong. As they went to take her for the 2nd surgery she coded before they could even get her opened up. i will never take any of my pets here again.

The receptionist seemed like she was still learning the ropes but either way still very good. I wish it wouldn't have cost so much but I guess if it's late minute I'm sure all of these places will cost me probably the same. A staff member named shelly was amazing!! She helped me with all of my questions and concerns and as went as far as to give my dog her meds bc I was worried she wouldn't take them when I got home!! She also along with another member carried my dog to and from the car. I'm and truly appreciate everything they did and am grateful for their care

I highly recommend this business. My 4 month old kitten was accidentally stepped on and was going into shock and bleeding from her nose and mouth. They took her back immediately and began to care for her. I didn't have a lot of money so they gave me an option that was more in my price range and was still able to treat my kitten. She is still recovering but she is doing great! I cannot thank the staff and doctors enough for saving her and taking great care of her!

I was told by Samantha Heiken,DVM she had pancreatitis twice, I had asked her twice if she had abdominal cancer, you see I had a cat die from this I knew the signs, but I was told NO both times. After they put her through shots and things she had didn't have to withstand, they set her home. 1300.00 dollars later. 5 days after that she stopped eating again,Itook her to my regular Vet and they said that from the records the clinic sent she did have abdominal cancer. I don't care about the money so much as they made her suffer for it! It was my job to make sure she was taken good care of,for $1300.00 I Made her suffer! If this clinic was in Texas and not in Ohio I could sue and they would be in jail, they don't care about your animal only the money!!!!

There needs to be a place one can go to get help for our animals without having to take out a second mortgage to pay for medical care. My personal experience with this place left me angry. A mistake on their part should not cost me more money. I understand now why my regular vet recommends that I travel to Green . They're 24/7 reasonably priced.

I didn't mind the wait it was Saturday and my dogs hot spots could wait for someone else's pet in need, as I realize I'm at a hospital and human hospitals have long waits! Thank you for fitting us in when our regular vet could not! The prices are fair and comparable to just taking my dog to our vet! Thank you for taking such good care of Tank!

My dog had surgery because if a bladder infection. They put in staples to peice her back together. The left one inside her so she had problems for months after that. We called and told them that there was an issue and they said they could fix it for free. I appreciate the offer but I couldn't take the risk of my dog having a second surgery when you don't know if they are going to make it out the first one. Unfortunately my dog now has Kidney stones. It hasn't been a yr since her surgery. I don't know how fast they form but I would think that the vet would of caught that. She had 4 kidney stones that looked like rocks in a drive way. They was preety big. Also the vet that did that surgery said there was some complications because of her first surgery. I just don't believe they emergency vet did a very good job of working on my dog.

I waited patiently for over 3hrs. for the vet to get out of surgery to examine my dog who was in labor and had already given birth to 4 pups & I knew for sure there was 1 with the possibility of a second still in her & her labor had stopped completely. She finally examined her and basically said that she wouldn't induce her to restart her labor. That she would let the pup or pups die then do emergency surgery. On top of that any questions I had asked the receptionist she had to go ask a tech because she was new. Finally her labor started on its own again and while she was in the middle of giving birth to the 5th pup I was asking some questions with one tech then all of the sudden another tech came out went off on me for no reason.. They said they were loading my dog & pups back into their cage & we needed to leave.. I was calm & confused because I wasn't screaming or being disruptive, just asking questions.. Mind you they already ran my debit card for 338.00 they said they would only refund 190.00.. Which was bull crap. My dog & pups could of died because she is an older dog & high risk. It took them a split second for them to take my money (which they did nothing to earn it, they didn't do anything for her or the pups.) but took forever for then to refund it... I am glad to say mom & and all 6 pups are doing great, NO thanks to them... Weather I had 1 question or a1000 questions I should have never been treated like this.. No one should!!! I'll never go back.. They are useless money hungry thieves... So disrespectful, that vet and one tech should be fired!!!

Aside from the inflated pricing of their services, which is the norm for all after hours emergency vet clinics, their staff is wonderful and caring. I took my 19 year-old cat Dexter in for constipation, and a secondary, very serious health issue was found while he was being treated. I asked the vet, Dr. Heiken, to consult with our regular vet so that I would feel comfortable in his treatment, and she did so very willingly. As Dexter's treatment progressed, he took a turn and we thought we were going to lose him. Dr. Heiken kept me informed of every single step, allowed me to be with my pet whenever I wished, and took every measure she could to care for my fur baby. Fortunately, Dexter recovered nicely and was brought back home with a few additional medications for his newly diagnosed issues. I thank you, Dr. Heiken and staff for showing such wonderful caring and compassion not only to my beloved baby boy, but to me as well. I am so incredibly grateful for your services.

I was with my brother when his dog ran out on the road and was struck by an automobile that sped off. The dog was bleeding from his head, so we immediately rushed him to this clinic. I am taking away one star because, in a panic, I asked Siri for directions and it pulled up the address of the old clinic on Fulton. Not knowing that they had moved since I (luckily) have never had to go before, we drove out of our way to the wrong clinic. Suggestion: Close this listing on ALL online registries. When we finally arrived to the correct clinic, the receptionist asked if we wanted them to administer CPR.....OF COURSE WE DID - why do you think we were there?The vet tech let us know that he did not survive the trauma. She offered a copy of his paw print inked onto a poem. They wrapped him in an insulated blanket that would ensure his fluids did not leak, and then in an additional sheet. She was very kind and very personable. She's the reason I am giving four stars today. Hopefully I never have to return, but in an emergency situation I am glad they are close by.

I had to bring my dog in today due to an allergic reaction to an unknown substance. She had facial swelling and was treated promptly as they felt it was a true threat to her airway.
The office was extremely busy operating on what sounded like a 4-6 hour wait, but there were a couple of other animals that arrived who were also triaged and taken back for assessment and treatment immediately.
In any ER you never want to be the first one treated but despite the bad situation it went about as smooth as it could go!

We've had to take all three dogs here at one point or another. They've always been friendly and open, even during the #coughpocalypse.
Our latest trip was the saddest, as our 17 year old miniature schnauzer, Luna, was too far gone to be saved. The staff was very caring and compassionate, both with me over the phone, and with my fiancé who took Luna there. This was the first dog she'd had to let go, and they consoled her and let me do all the paperwork remotely to make the pain easier.
Highly recommended and very affordable for an ER vet.

This place is a joke! All they care about is making you wait, taking your money and not answering their phone. We called ahead to take our cat there on a weekend and was told it was a 1 hour wait time. We arrive and call to check in and we were then told it was a 4 hour wait time because the vet was going into emergency surgery. We waited in our car for 4 hours and they finally came out to tell us they could take our cat in but it would be another 4 hours or so before he could be seen because the vet was going into surgery. I said We were told the vet was going into surgery 4 hours ago. She stumbled on her words and said well the vet got held up. Our cat ended up having to spend 3 days there and having surgery. It was the worst 3 days trying to get ahold of these people. I spent a straight 3 hours trying to call them for an update and the phone rang busy the entire time. Once they did answer the phone the staff was rude and all they worried about was making sure they told you the cost of the bill so far and getting payment right then and there over the phone. They have no compassion for the pet owner and the trauma ourselves and our cat were going through. Not to mention the cost of the bill was over $3,600. Once our cat was ready to come home they told us to call before we got there to make sure he was ready. We called before we left for an hour drive there and ended up still waiting almost 2 hours for them to bring him out. They said in 10-14 days to bring him back to have his staples removed. We did so and they kept telling us they were to busy for that to call back tomorrow. Very unprofessional and just an all around horrible place! I will NEVER take another one of my pets there and I don't recommend anyone to go there! I wouldn't even give this place 1 star!

I took my 11 year old lab mix to this ER clinic back on June 2, 2021. My pup had thrown up and was salivating and I couldn't get into my regular vet till the following week. We took a sample of his vomit as there appeared to be something in it that didn't look right after an x-ray and no obstruction was found all they could do was give my guy a shot for the naseau and tall us the object looked like a raw hide. Which we told them we don't have raw hides in our house nor do we give or pups any as we are aware they are not healthy for them. So after spending $500 I had no answers as to why my guy was sick or what it was that he had thrown up. Needless to say it was very frustrating and I was very disappointed with the care we received and I will never take my fur babies there. I will go to Akron Medvet.

I have two because that all I can afford and I use care credit for my vet services when I don't have the money up front. It's absurd the amount of people complaining reviews on here how clinics expect money for the services provided, duh how do you think they can pay the staff, doctors and stay in business.

Took our 9 year old fur baby in on Saturday for an eye injury. His eye ended up needing removed, which is what we anticipated, and he stayed overnight. The reception staff was very very friendly. We loved the vet who did his surgery. She clearly explained our options and answered all our questions. Yes, you pay for services in advance, but that is how nearly every emergency vet operates. I thought the price was reasonable for what the surgery involved. I had to call a few days later with a follow up question and the receptionist remembered us and our dog. She got the answers we needed from the vet and was extremely helpful. (Drainage from surgery area). We are 100% satisfied and if we needed another emergency visit, we would drive the extra distance to use them again.

I was able to give size, history, breed.. anything they needed to just give me an idea. I figured they could ask a vet.. what's the point if they refuse help. I wouldn't trust my pet to somewhere that doesn't even attempt to do there job.

I had to rush my car Max to this emergency facility when his back legs stopped working. I did not have the money on me to pay, as I didn’t get paid until the next following morning. They took him in immediately. Unfortunately max’s Congenital heart disease has put a blood clot from his heart and he was in dire pain with no way to save him. They were kind to me and so very helpful and sympathetic. I held my cat as they put him to sleep. Worst thing I have every seen or been through. They are a caring place that will do what they can to get your animal the best treatmentwithout being turned away because you can’t pay up front . Thank you stark emergency

Nothing but a bunch of money hungry fools that don't care about your pet. I took my dog in Saturday since our regular vet wasn't open. I was told by the vet that my dog had a couple days left at best if we didn't do something for her. I told the vet my budget and was trying to gather the rest of the money for her medical bill. My pup is worth a million dollars to me and I would do anything in the world to save her. Within 4 hours of my dog of being there she took her last breath because these heartless cowards put the almighty dollar ahead of trying to save an animal. They refused to give any support to her until we had the funds available. After my dog passed they had the audacity to sit there with their hands out wanting paid. Their price was over the budget I had on me. I owed an extra $268 that was never talked about until payment time came. I let them know I did not have it and would not have it until the following Friday. I am scheduled to pick up my pups ashes on Monday and had no problem paying them at the time I pick her up. They refused. Thankfully I had a friend willing to loan me the money to pay these wastes of flesh. I wish I would of read the reviews of this place before taking my pup there. If you care about your pet in the least bit DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!

Any cause to visit an emergency pet clinic can be a trying event. However, I was very pleased and comfortable with this facility. From the time I initially contacted them by phone, they were very professional, kind, and sincere. It was a very busy night and one can expect delays. However, I knew in my own mind, my dog Murphy was beyond any chance of recovery, so the wait was acceptable. Pets with a slight chance of recovery need attention first. The girls at the front desk were very accommodating, answered all of my questions, informed me of my options, and served me with respect and kindness. I would like to mention a young lady that was extra kind to me and showed true compassion and her love of animals at this most heartbreaking time. Her name was Danielle and worked as a technician. She was so sweet. Many comments that have rated this facility are of a negative nature, pointing towards attitude, caring and overpricing. I don't understand the mentality of some of these individuals that write such comments, other than mean attitudes and hatred in their time of sadness. Every pet owner wishes to take their buddy to their own vet, but this is not always possible. I am just thankful that this facility is nearby and available. I would highly recommend them in a time of need. Give your pets a big hug today while they are still with you!

This place is horrible. If i could rate 0 stars or negative i would. I called to take my dog there yesterday they told me i would need $78 for the exam and the rest of the money up front but wouldnt know the total cost until they did the exam. I couldnt get my check until this morning and i told them the severity of my dogs situation and offered to even give them my car title as collateral until the next morning when i could have paid for the services i was told they arent a title loan office. So this morning i went up with my dog and money in hand and when i walked in the office i was told the vet wouldnt be there until 6pm and i should be ashamed of myself for not seeking attention yesterday when i called (and was begging and pleading for them to please see my dog) i told them they should be ashamed for not seeing my dog because i didnt have $78 yesterday. On my way out the door i was told i might like a cheaper vet because they are expensive (i must say i felt like pretty woman when the rich snooty b!tches wouldn't let her shop) like im low class. I found a wonderful practice who helped me today and they are truly caring people they took my dog and didnt ask for payment upfront and worked out a payment plan with me also i wasnt even charged for extra services they provided. This place needs to change their name to Chase Bank because they do only care about money..not your fur babys or your feelings..they made me feel like a low class peice of trash and then blamed me for their greed. Will never go back they are low life individuals shame on them. My dog is home tonight sleeping after his hard couple of days.

Everyone that we came into contact at this facility was wonderful, until the very end when we had to check out. My sister, my father, and I had decided to put our family dog down. As I was was already crying during the lobby, the receptionist told me how much it was. I had NEVER been to a vets office, let alone an ER vet, so I had no idea of the cost. She told me the price and I repeated because I was shocked. She then proceeded to tell me "well you could be leaving with a $3-$4k bill." I then shot back with "and those people are leaving with a healthy animal" I CANNOT believe that this woman proceeded to say that me while I was crying, knowing what we had decided. Needless to say, we took our family dog to another facility that was so compassionate not only towards our family member, but towards us as well. Thank you to the staff at this facility, however, the front of the house needs some work!!

I think the staff was very nice but they were not very informative. i had no idea what i was getting into when taking my dog to have surgery. They did not express what the complications were could happen. I had no idea after paying $3700 for the surgery and the after care that my dog may need multiple surgeries at $2200 each. I don't feel like they watched my dog very closely after her surgery because if they did they would have noticed a lot sooner that something was wrong. As they went to take her for the 2nd surgery she coded before they could even get her opened up. i will never take any of my pets here again.

I wish it wouldn't have cost so much but I guess if it's late minute I'm sure all of these places will cost me probably the same. A staff member named shelly was amazing!! She helped me with all of my questions and concerns and as went as far as to give my dog her meds bc I was worried she wouldn't take them when I got home!! She also along with another member carried my dog to and from the car. I'm and truly appreciate everything they did and am grateful for their care

We took out pregnant English bulldog. And they were with her immediately and kept us informed through the entire birth of our 7 puppies and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable .. and Misty the girl that helped us the whole time was great with our dog and great to talk too. I would recommend this place to everyone

I highly recommend this business. My 4 month old kitten was accidentally stepped on and was going into shock and bleeding from her nose and mouth. They took her back immediately and began to care for her. I didn't have a lot of money so they gave me an option that was more in my price range and was still able to treat my kitten. She is still recovering but she is doing great! I cannot thank the staff and doctors enough for saving her and taking great care of her!

I took my cat Tiny to this place after she stopped eating,I waited 2 hours for them to see her. I was told by Samantha Heiken,DVM she had pancreatitis twice, I had asked her twice if she had abdominal cancer, you see I had a cat die from this I knew the signs, but I was told NO both times. After they put her through shots and things she had didn't have to withstand, they set her home. 1300.00 dollars later. 5 days after that she stopped eating again,Itook her to my regular Vet and they said that from the records the clinic sent she did have abdominal cancer. I don't care about the money so much as they made her suffer for it! It was my job to make sure she was taken good care of,for $1300.00 I Made her suffer! If this clinic was in Texas and not in Ohio I could sue and they would be in jail, they don't care about your animal only the money!!!!

I'm sorry but I feel the need to speak up of all who own "fur babies" and are held HOSTAGE by this place. There needs to be a place one can go to get help for our animals without having to take out a second mortgage to pay for medical care. My personal experience with this place left me angry. A mistake on their part should not cost me more money. I understand now why my regular vet recommends that I travel to Green . They're 24/7 reasonably priced.

They easily chargedo me 3 or 4 times the amount a normal vet would, and that was after I had them drop unnecessary charges from my bill! Very disappointed, and they should be ashamed!

Great staff that is really caring! They apologized for my wait because they had a critical patient and I was there for hot spots. I appreciated that they came to me and let me know what was going on! I didn't mind the wait it was Saturday and my dogs hot spots could wait for someone else's pet in need, as I realize I'm at a hospital and human hospitals have long waits! Thank you for fitting us in when our regular vet could not! The prices are fair and comparable to just taking my dog to our vet! Thank you for taking such good care of Tank!

They are always forth coming in what to expect in prices and have always made me feel as if my dog is very important to them. The facility is clean and the workers are always professional. I drive all the way from Tallmadge to go here when needed.

My dog had surgery because if a bladder infection. They put in staples to peice her back together. The left one inside her so she had problems for months after that. We called and told them that there was an issue and they said they could fix it for free. I appreciate the offer but I couldn't take the risk of my dog having a second surgery when you don't know if they are going to make it out the first one. Unfortunately my dog now has Kidney stones. It hasn't been a yr since her surgery. I don't know how fast they form but I would think that the vet would of caught that. She had 4 kidney stones that looked like rocks in a drive way. They was preety big. Also the vet that did that surgery said there was some complications because of her first surgery. I just don't believe they emergency vet did a very good job of working on my dog.

I waited patiently for over 3hrs. for the vet to get out of surgery to examine my dog who was in labor and had already given birth to 4 pups & I knew for sure there was 1 with the possibility of a second still in her & her labor had stopped completely. She finally examined her and basically said that she wouldn't induce her to restart her labor. That she would let the pup or pups die then do emergency surgery. On top of that any questions I had asked the receptionist she had to go ask a tech because she was new. Finally her labor started on its own again and while she was in the middle of giving birth to the 5th pup I was asking some questions with one tech then all of the sudden another tech came out went off on me for no reason.. They said they were loading my dog & pups back into their cage & we needed to leave.. I was calm & confused because I wasn't screaming or being disruptive, just asking questions.. Mind you they already ran my debit card for 338.00 they said they would only refund 190.00.. Which was bull crap. My dog & pups could of died because she is an older dog & high risk. It took them a split second for them to take my money (which they did nothing to earn it, they didn't do anything for her or the pups.) but took forever for then to refund it... I am glad to say mom & and all 6 pups are doing great, NO thanks to them... Weather I had 1 question or a1000 questions I should have never been treated like this.. No one should!!! I'll never go back.. They are useless money hungry thieves... So disrespectful, that vet and one tech should be fired!!!

Aside from the inflated pricing of their services, which is the norm for all after hours emergency vet clinics, their staff is wonderful and caring. I took my 19 year-old cat Dexter in for constipation, and a secondary, very serious health issue was found while he was being treated. I asked the vet, Dr. Heiken, to consult with our regular vet so that I would feel comfortable in his treatment, and she did so very willingly. As Dexter's treatment progressed, he took a turn and we thought we were going to lose him. Dr. Heiken kept me informed of every single step, allowed me to be with my pet whenever I wished, and took every measure she could to care for my fur baby. Fortunately, Dexter recovered nicely and was brought back home with a few additional medications for his newly diagnosed issues. I thank you, Dr. Heiken and staff for showing such wonderful caring and compassion not only to my beloved baby boy, but to me as well. I am so incredibly grateful for your services.

I was with my brother when his dog ran out on the road and was struck by an automobile that sped off. The dog was bleeding from his head, so we immediately rushed him to this clinic. I am taking away one star because, in a panic, I asked Siri for directions and it pulled up the address of the old clinic on Fulton. Not knowing that they had moved since I (luckily) have never had to go before, we drove out of our way to the wrong clinic. Suggestion: Close this listing on ALL online registries. When we finally arrived to the correct clinic, the receptionist asked if we wanted them to administer CPR.....OF COURSE WE DID - why do you think we were there?The vet tech let us know that he did not survive the trauma. She offered a copy of his paw print inked onto a poem. They wrapped him in an insulated blanket that would ensure his fluids did not leak, and then in an additional sheet. She was very kind and very personable. She's the reason I am giving four stars today. Hopefully I never have to return, but in an emergency situation I am glad they are close by.
