I am very disappointed with the amount of care received from this Veterinarian practice. I felt my issues, which were very serious to me regarding my pet, didn’t even merit a second callback. They definitely didn’t care about the welfare of my turtle. I don’t know what type of services they provide to other animals, but think twice before bringing a sick reptile to Dr. Pappas.

when another vet at a swanky new local facility misdiagnosed my recently rescued cat and ignored my comments that my other cats seem to catch mouth ulcers from the new pet, I took meitu older pets in and the doctors here not only correctly diagnosed the virus but had them treated with love and care.... when they heard my story about my original rescue still being sick after three or four days the previous vet treatment they stay open late so I could rush home and bring her back after regular closing hours so that all three cats would be equally treated and could recuperate with the proper diagnosis and medication.... their willingness to get to the root of the problem even if it meant staying late the day before a holiday just shows how much they really truly care.

They treat your pets with love and kindness as if they were their own pets. The staff here truely care about the wellbeing of every type of animal that comes through their door and to them their job is more than just a paycheck, it is how they make a difference in the world. If you ever need care for your pet this is the best place to go.

They keep horrible records. I needed a renewed prescription for my dog and they did not even have any records that the gave it to me in the first place. Then they charged me a lot of money for a perce...
They keep horrible records. I needed a renewed prescription for my dog and they did not even have any records that the gave it to me in the first place. Then they charged me a lot of money for a perception I didn't want and wouldn't take back. they didn't tell me that the drug had many bad side effects for my dog. I will never be coming back here

Came here today with a sick chicken and am so glad I did. Dr Pappas was extremely friendly and spent 40 minutes with us talking and figuring out what was wrong. I've been taking my pets to a vet 2 hours away for 10 years. I'll be switching to West Geauga Vet now. She is as sweet as can be!Oh also the prices are fantastic! I was very pleased with my bill and they take credit cards.

My first experience with this vet was when I brought an injured wild rabbit there for care (they do wild animal rehabilitation). Ultimately, they had to euthanize the rabbit, but I was so impressed by their service that I decided to bring my cat there too. I highly recommend Dr. Jones.

This is where you should go if you are nearby and need a vet for a sick bird. Enough said. If you don't live nearby, keep in mind, birds are a little tricky for vets, and you want someone who can do that, and you want that your bird will LIVE and NOT have trauma after doctor's visit.(It is very possible that this clinic is also great for other pets than birds, but I have tried just birds so far.)

My Mom has been bringing her rescue birds to West Geauga Vet and Dr Pappas for many years. Because of her trust with these wonderful folks, I too bring my iguana, also a rescue to there. The care and attention they pay to Merlin far exceeds my expectations. What truly matters to me though is that they care what Merlin thinks more so than what I think. That means everything to me as a pet Mom. And in turn, Merlin is well behaved with them and takes medicine from me with no problems. They also take their time answering all of my questions and even listen to me boast about how special my child is. Thank You Dr. Pappas and West Geauga Vet!

No wait to see the doctor, clean office. The billing was explained well. The birds in the lobby made things "interesting" with my bird dog. Overall great experience.

I am very disappointed with the amount of care received from this Veterinarian practice. I felt my issues, which were very serious to me regarding my pet, didn’t even merit a second callback. They definitely didn’t care about the welfare of my turtle. I don’t know what type of services they provide to other animals, but think twice before bringing a sick reptile to Dr. Pappas.

They keep horrible records. I needed a renewed prescription for my dog and they did not even have any records that the gave it to me in the first place. Then they charged me a lot of money for a perception I didn't want and wouldn't take back. they didn't tell me that the drug had many bad side effects for my dog. I will never be coming back here

Came here today with a sick chicken and am so glad I did. Dr Pappas was extremely friendly and spent 40 minutes with us talking and figuring out what was wrong. This is where you should go if you are nearby and need a vet for a sick bird. Enough said. If you don't live nearby, keep in mind, birds are a little tricky for vets, and you want someone who can do that, and you want that your bird will LIVE and NOT have trauma after doctor's visit.(It is very possible that this clinic is also great for other pets than birds, but I have tried just birds so far.)

My Mom has been bringing her rescue birds to West Geauga Vet and Dr Pappas for many years. Because of her trust with these wonderful folks, I too bring my iguana, also a rescue to there.
