My puppy went in, early in the morning, to be spayed. When she was picked up, that evening, she was in a lot of pain. The didn't want to give her pain meds but, finally, gave her some pills to take with her. It was almost impossible to get her to take a pill. They were more worried about money than about the well being of a puppy, a sweet little puppy. She cried all the way home. Also, they were supposed to get her up to date on vaccinations. I have a new puppy, Charlie, and he visited the vet at ACC. She was great with him and informative. Charlie has been staying at ACC for Doggy Daycare and the girls there just LOVE him. Took my new rescue dog here after being told on the phone they had a $30 Spa special for a bath, clip and ear clean. When making the appointment I told them it was a new dog that has not been there before and they said it would be $30. So I got up early, took my wife to work and went to drop off around 8:00. When I got there with all his up to date shot papers I was told he would also need a $23 flu shot and a $20 exam along with the $30 spa " special ". He was only there for the spa special.... not to be boarded there! These extra costs should have been explained up front not at check in! I would never have taken him there if I knew that! Read Less

The doctors take so much interest in what we have had to say & showed so much care towards not only our dogs but to us as well. Animal Care Centers took care of my beloved dog Dexter for 11 years. I honestly have nothing but good things to say about the staff and Doctors. Dexter was treated by both Dr Wendy and Dr Monika and they always treated him as if he was family. Throughout his many surgeries and procedures they always kept me informed and calm. We take our dog, Ava the bulldog, there and Dr. Monika is the best. She truly loves what she does and the pets she sees! The girls in front are awesome too. Always so helpful and friendly. Brought my kitten I found last summer in yesterday. He was bitten by another animal and now has an abscess on his leg. The caregivers and veterinarian was very quick, thorough and informing of everything that was happening to him and what I needed to do to make him feel better. I have scheduled another appointment for him to be neutered this week and I'm confident everything will be ok. The Wellness Plan is has already saved me hundreds of dollars in care expenses and it gives me the peace of mind of not worrying about having huge bills in the future if my little baby gets in trouble again! We just started going here in March of this year, primarily because we had a new puppy and they recommended we go here for vaccinations. We are so happy we did. In a short time, they have made a big impression. They are the best and have treated all of our animals with care. The staff, techs, and vets are so nice and you can tell they love the animals they care for. We have used the wellness plan and it has saved us money as well as giving us peace of mind. We have also used their boarding services and have been pleased with it. We can vacation without worry. Our decision to move all of our animals' care here was solidified after having to euthanize one of our cats in August. We had to take her to the Forest Park location to get her in as soon as possible. The compassion they showed was so comforting as they helped us say goodbye even though we had never met them nor had they met Rascals. The last few months our 10 year old dog had been struggling and Dr. Katrina tried everything to give him comfort and heal him. She and other vets took time to explain everything and answer any questions we had. Yesterday she helped Scruffy cross the rainbow bridge when nothing else could be done. Our family will be forever grateful for how they helped us in such a difficult and sad time. We know veterinarians and boarding facilities are businesses, but we have never felt that our animals best interest was not at the forefront. Every vet and tech has been great and I can't recommend the center highly enough.Read Less

I only take my dog to this location for routine services. If I need a sick visit I use the Fairfield location which is hands down much better than the Blue Ash location. Every time we go there we specifically ask to not see Dr. Amanda because she tries to sell you the most expensive meds they have. She is a nice lady but not very knowledgeable when diagnosing or prescribing meds. It's a headache every time we go there. We are on the wellness plan and the front desk never seem to know that. They try to overcharge us on everything until we start asking questions. When we go to Fairfield, the customer service is like night and day. They have the animal and owners best interest in mind while Blue Ash only cares about the dollars. We only go there for location convenience. I highly recommend the Fairfield location but not this place! Read Less

Animal Care Center in Blue Ash is awesome. Dr.Kim May is a fantastic vet. We take our chihuahuas to her and would never consider taking them any place else. They receive the best care at a very reasonable cost. Dr.Kim is always available for questions and any concerns we have about our furry kids. She has performed surgery on both of them and called as soon as the surgery was complete to let us know how they were. She also called the next day to check on them. Take wonderful care of boarded dogs. Every time you go for pick up they'll give you a report card on how your pup did, it's good to know they're attentive and caring. The kennel is connected to the vet, so if anything happens with your animal while you're away, care is close and immediate. Also, if you use the vet as your normal vet, they can do check ups/vaccinations/etc during boarding.Read Less

My dog is fully vaccinated and appears to have kennel cough after spending the week there last week. Taking him to the vet today to confirm. Update... That being said I've used the place before and never had a problem. The vet said it's just one of those things that happens sometimes.
