We have been bringing our cats and dogs here for past 3.5 years. Dr Carbaugh is caring and kind, knowledgeable and always goes extra mile. He is also cost concious, gives clear information and treatment options. The rest of the staff are friendly and caring. A great group of people that truly love animals and want to help and do what is best for the animal.

Dr. Carbaugh and his staff have been taking care of my wife’s family’s pets since the very early 80s. He now takes care of our two Yorkie Poos and also our cats. He is the best when it comes to caring...
Dr. Carbaugh and his staff have been taking care of my wife’s family’s pets since the very early 80s. He now takes care of our two Yorkie Poos and also our cats. He is the best when it comes to caring for pets that are very aggressive due to fear. He does what he has to do in a compassionate and gentle way in order to give them the care they need. He treats every patient of his as he would treat his own dog or cat. The staff there have also always been wonderful, compassionate, and so helpful. They are all the best at what they do. Highly recommend if you are looking for a vet on the west side.

My family (Mom dad brother sister) have been taking our pets here since our first dog back in 1983. I moved around the city tried other vets, but Drs Carbaugh and Bedard are the Best vets with the kin...
My family (Mom dad brother sister) have been taking our pets here since our first dog back in 1983. I moved around the city tried other vets, but Drs Carbaugh and Bedard are the Best vets with the kindest warmest staff I have ever met. Dr. C saved one of our dogs’ life when he only had a slim chance of survival after 30% of his small intestine had died due to a blockage (ate a rubber ball). I take my 3 cats here even though I live in Ft Thomas. Can’t recommend highly enough

My dog, Fiona, has human fear aggression. From the staff who answered the phone (who also scheduled herself to be present at our first 1 week visit & many since) to Dr. Carbaugh and Dr. Ranz, we were so well taken care of. As a first time dog owner I was terrified and completely undereducated about by my dogs behavior. Through the kindness, patience, and knowledge of the staff and veterinarian/s I was able to get Fiona and I into training with a behaviorist and continue positive visits to their facility. Fiona and I will always and forever be grateful to every person involved with our journey!

AHDH is a family vet practice, by which I mean they treat us and our furbabies like family. No matter which doctor we see (Carbaugh, Bedard or Ranz) they take the time to make my dogs feel as comfortable as possible - even when giving shots or taking a temperature which can be pretty uncomfortable. They never push you into unnecessary treatment or vaccines and are happy to explain things when the problem is complicated. Our entire family has been going to AHDH for more than 10 years and we've never had a bad vet visit.

My Westies have had many major health issues. Dr Carbaugh, and staff, are like no other I have ever found. He always goes above and beyond to make sure he gets to the root of the problem. They are all very important creatures to him. i have never found this with any other practice. The people that work there never leave. The environment is kindness and compassion . I have been taking my dogs there for all of their 12 years of life.

We have been bringing our cats and dogs here for past 3.5 years. Dr Carbaugh is caring and kind, knowledgeable and always goes extra mile. He is also cost concious, gives clear information and treatment options. The rest of the staff are friendly and caring. A great group of people that truly love animals and want to help and do what is best for the animal.

Dr. Carbaugh and his staff have been taking care of my wife’s family’s pets since the very early 80s. He now takes care of our two Yorkie Poos and also our cats. He is the best when it comes to caring for pets that are very aggressive due to fear. He does what he has to do in a compassionate and gentle way in order to give them the care they need. He treats every patient of his as he would treat his own dog or cat. The staff there have also always been wonderful, compassionate, and so helpful. They are all the best at what they do. Highly recommend if you are looking for a vet on the west side.

My family (Mom dad brother sister) have been taking our pets here since our first dog back in 1983. I moved around the city tried other vets, but Drs Carbaugh and Bedard are the Best vets with the kindest warmest staff I have ever met. AHDH is a family vet practice, by which I mean they treat us and our furbabies like family. No matter which doctor we see (Carbaugh, Bedard or Ranz) they take the time to make my dogs feel as comfortable as possible - even when giving shots or taking a temperature which can be pretty uncomfortable. They never push you into unnecessary treatment or vaccines and are happy to explain things when the problem is complicated. Our entire family has been going to AHDH for more than 10 years and we've never had a bad vet visit.
