We unfortunately had to bring my dog here on a Friday evening after a serious tussle with another dog. From the moment that they saw my dog, the staff treated him with patience and a sense of urgency that put me at ease. They were friendly and understanding even when they were busy on this night. We did not get to go back into the actual ER with our dog for good reason, but we were followed up with several times from the lobby through our 6 hour visit. The vet was understanding of our needs and our dogs and took the time to inform us of the after-care. Every emergency room visit will be more than anyone wants, but the overall cost was reasonable given the care that we received. I’d recommend this facility to anyone with a true emergency for their dog.

I had to put my dog down last night. Dr Lavigne was extremely compassionate. I was touched that she cried even though she never met my dog before. I appreciate the kindness from her and the rest of the staff and for handling the emergency quickly so she did not suffer.
Update...I got a sympathy card in the mail with ink prints of my dogs paws. Extremely thoughtful. Thank you so much for the wonderful keepsake.

I was recommended to go here with my dog Max by my friend. I am so happy that I listened to her recommendation! I drove a little over an hour to get there. The staff behind the desk went well out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They were also very polite and nice. Once we got to go to a room to wait for the vet, it was a long wait. The vet did apologize for the wait and stated that another animal needed more of their attention before she could get to me (my puppy was not in a serious emergency state, so I understood). The vet answered all of my questions, she was very thorough. I could tell that she was very knowledgeable and it made me feel more at ease. The tech vets were just a great as well. Overall I spent four hours there, but it was well worth the wait. Prices were high, but you need to think about it as a hospital... because that is what they are. So overall, I am 100% completely satisfied with our experience. Thank you for all for your help there!

Our 3 1/2 month old German Shepherd Winston injured his leg so we took him to Care Center in Centerville. They found that he had fractured his elbow and would require surgery. They got him stable, on pain meds and transported him to Cincinnati for surgery. The staff at both locations were wonderful they kept us update in the late evening on the his move and had no issue with my numerous calls checking on him during the night. The surgery was a success and we got to bring him home the next day, to our surprise our estimated cost was higher than our bill and we received a refund. I would highly recommend the Care Center in either Centerville or Cincinnati to anyone, I will not hesitate to take my animals there they were truly wonderful and I can't thank them enough for everything they did for Winston.

We couldn’t have asked for a better team to entrust with Sophie’s care. We have full confidence that Sophie will benefit from her SRS treatments and have all of you to thank. We will recommend your team to anyone who comes across the unfortunate diagnosis of pet cancer. We drove five hours and spent a week in rainy Cincinnati all because we knew CARE Center was our best bet at getting some extra time with our girl, however we didn’t expect the level of care she (and us) would receive. When any of my beloved pets need care beyond what our veterinarian can provide, we rely on The Care Center. I'm very thankful they are there for us!!! They most recently saved our Boxers life. He has been diagnosed with Boxer Cardiomyopathy. The medication prescribed by the ER doctor literally took our beloved pet from deaths door, back to the funny, goofy guy we love. The vets and techs are kind, knowledgeable and caring. They even sent me a text with a picture of my boy while he was a patient there. How sweet is that? Today Rocky saw their cardiologist. Once again, compassion and incredible knowledge was shown. Yes they are expensive, but they are there when we need them AND THEY SAVE LIVES! Thank you and God bless you all!! A great emergency clinic but like going to the emergency room for humans unless your pet is literally dying when you go in you may have a long wait but this is one of the only 24 hour emergency vets in town. Just know where you are going and don't write bad reviews about the price and wait if you do not know what you are doing.

I took my long haired chihuahua to the Care Center due to back problems. He had done seem two other vets that gave him med's but non of the med's helped. After doing this for a week my vet referred me to the Care Center. The Care Center is almost two hour away from my home but the only place that done emergency serves. So I loaded up Dippy and heeded to there facility. He was in server pain when we arrived. The took him back right away to evaluate him. It did take a little while before the talked to us but they take care of the most critical patients first so that was understandable to me. Once I did talk to them they told me what all they wanted to do and gave me an estimate of how much it could cost. They came back with an estimated of 4600. to over 5000. I could not believe how expensive they were. I gave them 4000. down and left my sweet baby there. They started him on an IV right away so they could give him pain meds. They also sent me pics of him a couple times a and I really appreciate that since I live so far away. I think they done a great job with him while he was there. They done his surgery and gave him meds to take home. He is doing great. I really think this is a great place and they do great work. The only down fall for me was the price.

I had an emergency with both my dogs. My vet couldn't see them and recommended I take them to Care Center. They were seen right away (some people complained about urgency - it functions like a human ER and hospital; the most urgent cases are taken first. It's not first come, first serve) and a tech came out to tell me their vitals/etc. within 5 minutes. Dr. Ruparel was excellent - probably the best medical provider I've had experience with considering both humans and animals, and I work in the medical field so I have seen many "bad" and "good" providers. Her rapport was wonderful in a very stressful situation. She needed to sedate both dogs, and she came out to explain again and worked with me as far as my work situation. She called me that night to give me and update. After I took them home, she called the next morning to see how they were doing and to give me practical tips on how to do some of the treatment and management. I really appreciated her competence and compassion. All of the techs, staff were very helpful. The tech who explained to me the treatment plan (Dr. Ruparel was no longer on shift) was excellent - I thought she had been doing it for years but apparently she had recently started. I had questions and she followed up quickly with the Vet. Many thanks to Care Center.

Amazing place. All the staff we have encountered and Dr. Schrader are absolutely amazing. We had our young pup Harley there last year with a broken growth plate in her back leg. She has healed and she is back to her normal self, doing great. We just left there today after picking up our 2nd dog kyra that had an acl tear which turned into a horrible infection in her knee. Luckily, they caught the infection in time and put her on meds. We took her in for a follow up yestersay and they eneded up keeping her to do her surgery. Dr. Schrader has been wonderful. We couldn't ask for a better experience during this stressful time. Brought the staff some goodies to eat through afternoon to show our appreciation but we will never be able to thank you guys enough for caring for our dogs like they were one of their own.

Just picked my big guy up from having an ACL repair surgery with Dr. Schrader and I couldn't be more pleased with my entire experience. From the educated staff that answered my questions by phone prior to surgery, to the compassion that was shown to me upon intake (I was quite emotional), the entire staff here TRULY cares! Dr. Schrader did an AMAZING job on the surgery, his site looks beautiful! Upon picking my Sinatra up I was educated extensively on his at home care as well as rehabilitation options that are available at this facility (Hydrotherapy?!?! YES!!). They turned a very scary and painful experience (for our Sinatra AND our family) into a positive and compassionate one! I look forward to continuing our choice of services with THIS facility! Thank you ALL for what you do!!! It means so much to our family!!

My poor kitty was not acting her self and began to be lethargic. I don't have money up front to have taken her to a vet. I got approved for care credit but local vet office didn't have anyone in office till a week later. Worried about my baby not eating, drinking or using bathroom I decided to take a vacation day off work and drive over an hour to this location. I knew my kitty was sick but was very distraught when the vet told me that original tests came back ok and that they wanted to run over $2,000 worth of testing. Me and my 10 year old son just lost it. There was no way I could afford that. They came back with a lower $1300 estimate but I felt as if I had no choice but to end my kitties life. The vet was nice enough but she kept saying the kitty is very sick. I had no idea what was going on. I felt numb and cornered. My son was crying and didn't understand I had to choose between not being able to pay bills or the life of my baby 5 year old kitty. I just lost a fur baby 3 months ago and it was hard to lose another one. A lady who rescued cats told me the next day she thought the vet should have given her IVs and antibiotics and sent me home. How true that is I don't know and will never know. The staff at front desk were nice enough. The young man who brought me in the estimates was nice enough too but it did seem that money was a huge priority to this place. I only saw the vet for a few minutes and honestly felt like she was a little rushed. I ended up paying almost $400 for my visit and to end my kitties life. I don't know if I feel I would go back here or not. RIP Fluffy

Took my dog Skye to Care for the first time a few weeks ago. She just wasn't feeling well and we had no idea what was wrong with her based on her symptoms. There was hardly any wait time and they took great care of her. Turns out her symptoms were "swimmer's tail". Dr. Shepherd took the time to explain the condition to me and even to my mom on the phone. What a professional and caring staff! Skye is now back to wagging her tail continuously! Thanks Care Center!

To start any negative reviews you read are probably from people that were extremely stressed out. This was my first experience and it could not have been better especially since it was at 3:30am to almost 6am. My cat and best friend Rocky was experiencing uninary blockage, and for male cats can be fatal. I wanted to wait till the following morning to take him to the vet but when I checked on him, I felt that wouldn't be wise. I started by calling. I reached Becca on the phone and she was very helpful with explaining how things would work and that she agreed with bringing him in. She also made sure the staff was advised I was coming.
She greeted me and took Rocky straight back while I filled out paper work. Rocky is not good with new people and he took right to the staff!
Dr. Farrell met with me some time later to get some info and to explain to me how to proceed. He had the fore-sight to give Rocky an ultra sound vs going straight to possibly expensive x-rays. I was set up with proper medication and Rocky made a full recovery. Obviously this a synopsis of the entire story but the end of be story is that it was a great experience though of very stressful situation for me. Rocky means a lot to me and the staff made me feel like he meant something to them!

We are so GRATEFUL for the care you gave our fur baby KuKi . We know you have many patients in your practice but you always made me feel like Kuki was one of your own family members. You showed so much love for her and you have no idea how much that means to me. Kuki came in your office in bad conditions , she had lost a lot of blood and to top it off found out she had a penny in her stomach . We were devastated to know how critic her condition was , luckily she was in great hands. We are very thankful Dr Raghu and the staff did everything possible to keep my baby alive . We did not have the funds to get her treatment, Dr Raghu and staff did everything in their power to get as much funds as they could to safe Kuki . Now shes better and stable... !! This facility gave my little girl a second chance in life !!! Thank you, Dr Chantel Raghu and Staff ! Sincerely Kuki and family <3

What a caring and nurturing facility! The doctors, nurses and support staff were gentle, patient and kind. They helped our Emily when she had a problem with her eye on a Sunday when every other vet office is closed. We were pleased with their intake process, and they let us hold on to her before the vet was able to give us his diagnosis. Dr. Carey took the time we needed to ask questions and we never felt as though we were being rushed out of the exam room. They also communicated to our regular vet office the following day so her records were up to date there as well. Would always recommend this animal hospital in case of any pet emergency!

I must tell you that this facility is indeed first rate as far as the staff and the building. Beautiful! But the problem I had with them was their financial terms. When I brought my cat in for treatment they gave me an estimate of $1652. They required a deposit of $1161!! That is a 70% deposit! I had a bad time getting that amount together. I looked on their website for financial arrangements and there was nothing listed to help me out. My cat had to stay longer than estimated and they wanted to do another procedure which they wanted another deposit of funds for $398! For a $580 procedure. I spoke to the vet and complained about these unreal deposits. I ended up not having to pay this deposit. My final balance was $929. For a grand total of $2,090. When I picked up my cat I told the girls at the desk they might want to offer Care Credit. They told me they do have that and pointed to a small stand at the end of the counter. I told them that nothing was on their website about it and not one employee let me know they offered it. They then asked if I wanted it after I had paid this giagantic bill for my cat's blocked uretha that had a mucus plug removed. I had other dogs and cats with the same problem and the cost was $500 to $600. So all in all they have great care. But it costs 4 to 5 times the normal amount! And you better have large sums to even have them treat your animals.

Our dog was run over this past weekend and everyone at the center was very attentive to her needs. Unfortunately, the damage she suffered was far too extensive and we had to put her down. I work in medicine with people and completely understood Lady's prognosis and feel as if I was given the most accurate recommendation on how to proceed in her care. They were honest and up front communicating with me and I truly appreciate that. Thanks to each and every one of you that treated Lady as your own. You are very special people to our family!

I have used the Care Center many times. They are currently working on my much cherished 2 year old as we speak. They go above and beyond with care and their compassion is great. They're fees are so reasonable for the amount of work they put into the efforts to recover animals to their fullest. I don't think some people understand this. Your regular vet may offer a cheaper "hospitalization", but having worked for vets, that means your pet is left alone many times for up to 12 hours alone and that under trained people are handling critical care. I am so very, very grateful to have the Care Center at my disposal and that I work with a family vet who recognizes the true value of critical/emergent care. The quality of care and the quality of staff is second to none.

I want to thank the staff of Care Center (Dr. Marlo Anderson, Mary Beth, Katrina, and so many others) from the bottom of my heart. It has been a long 72+ hours but I am so grateful for the kindness and skill the doctors, vet techs, and receptionists displayed.
My miniature schnauzer Belle started exhibiting terrible symptoms that included vomiting, bloody diarrhea, dehydration, etc. I immediately brought her to Care Center. She stayed there for three days and two nights. The professionalism and compassion of the staff was top-notch. Yes, it is expensive. But this isn't a situation where you shop around for price because you are buying a used car and want to get a deal - this is an animal's life, and I would pay the costs all over again in a heartbeat.
I visited Belle four times during her stay. I was always welcomed, and the staff does their best to keep your wait time to minimum. Note, you may wait. Welcome to adulthood, where you have to wait for good, quality things. The wait was always worth it.
Dr. Anderson was thorough and kind through the entire process. My Mom even received a photo via text of Belle resting in her cage. The attention to detail was astounding.
I am so grateful a place like Care Center exists. It's where you go when circumstances are above your family vet's head. Hopefully we never have to return, but if we do I will rest a little easier knowing that such a wonderful staff works there.

Proces are high, but this place is perfect for emergencies..we took my dog in for an accidental ingestion, and I left feeling that he was in good hands and was being given the best care. Don't have enough good things to say about this place. Brought my dog here late on a Friday night after she was ripped apart by another dog and they were so quick to get me in that they met me in the lot to get my dog from me. She was being diagnosed for about 20 minutes and was in surgery for about 3 hours being cared for. The staff was extremely caring and sweet and the docs were extremely knowledgeable. I will say the prices are very expensive but to be honest with the amount of care she got when it was needed most, I am not going to complain in the least for this is truly one of those moments where you get what you pay for. I would absolutely return for another pet emergency.

The facility is beautiful! And, I do mean beautiful. Everyone is super professional. The Saturday afternoon admins are very dry. The prices for a male cat with a blocked urinary tract was 4 time MORE than what I paid for the same procedure at another location, not associated with Care Center, back in 2013. I was floored. Absolutely floored. I'm still shaking my head. I am sure my cat received knowledgeable care by 24/7 Doctor-staffed and operated facility, but in 2013 when my cat was near kidney failure, and in much worse shape that he was this past Saturday, I took him to a Veterinarian office that also offered emergency services to ailing animals. They did the EXACT same procedures for 1/4 of the price. In 2013 I paid $450.00. This past Saturday the charges came to $1600.00 at Care Center!! I took those estimates on those same services to the previous place that had treated my cat and the estimate came back at $466.00. My heart is sick. I am disappointed beyond disappointed that I allowed myself to apply for a Credit Card to pay for these services at that amount when I should have taken him another 30 minutes by care to where he had been before. While I have no doubt that the care was excellent and the Doctors are knowledgeable, what I believe I am paying for is the fact that this place is ONLY a 24/7 hospital, and not also making money treating pets routinely as a veterinarian office. I will NEVER visit this place again and I'll not too soon forget that I spent 4 times what I had to for something 10 minutes from my home to save me drive time and personal time. Never again.

I have never written a review in my life, but was so pleased with my experience here last week I created an account on yelp to do just that. I have two dogs that I have had to bring here for various things throughout the years and have always been more than satisfied with the care. It's a little more expensive then a regular vet, but that is to be expected since it is a 24/7 facility. Last week I had to bring an elderly pet in to be euthanized due to my odd working schedule and the limited holiday hours of my regular vet. It was an experience I would have rather not had, but I could not be more pleased with how I was treated by the entire staff -from the girl at the front answering phones to the vet that performed the procedure and sat with me the whole time. They were all beyond compassionate and understanding of the difficult situation I was dealing with. Today I even got a sympathy card from them with a nice handwritten message from the vet and a Pawprint from my deceased dog. The facility has always been clean and well-maintained and all the staff has always been professional. I cannot recommend them more for the excellent way they handled my dogs' care and my concerns. I can admittedly be critical of things, however this place even surpassed my expectations.

In July of this year, our 2.5 year-old Yorkshire Terrier was vomiting and having abdominal pains. We took her to the CARE Center and discovered via blood work and ultrasounds that she was suffering from Acute Pancreatitis. CARE Center staff including doctors, vet techs and nurses helped us navigate this scary and difficult time. Our yorkie was in the hospital for 8 long days. They were aggressive with meds and changing up the meds on a day-by-day basis. Everyone at this facility demonstrated caring and professionalism. I would visit 2x per day and was encouraged to call any time day or night. Yes, it was a bit expensive and yes, we were approached with quotes for services rendered to our dog and that was fine with us. We always felt she was in caring hands and being monitored much closer than we could have done it at home.Our Yorkie has been home with us now over 2 months and she is recovered and back to her normal, happy & playful self.I would just encourage all pet lovers to consider Pet Insurance. That is my only regret. More than likely, pet insurance would have covered 90% of this huge pet bill. Of course, It was worth every penny to have my fur baby recovered, home & happy!

Our oldest dog had to have a splenectomy and we were totally nervous about the operation (that's alot for anyone, even a dog). The staff and board certified surgeons at the CARE Center were thoughtful, thorough and really actually caring. We were given a cost estimate range (depending on what they had to do once they got in surgery) and they did not charge the max when they were done. Our dog has recovered nicely.Great staff, service and professionals.Oh yeah, and there's a HUGE Charlie Harper mural in the lobby (see pic).

We unfortunately had to bring my dog here on a Friday evening after a serious tussle with another dog. From the moment that they saw my dog, the staff treated him with patience and a sense of urgency that put me at ease. They were friendly and understanding even when they were busy on this night. We did not get to go back into the actual ER with our dog for good reason, but we were followed up with several times from the lobby through our 6 hour visit. The vet was understanding of our needs and our dogs and took the time to inform us of the after-care. Every emergency room visit will be more than anyone wants, but the overall cost was reasonable given the care that we received. I’d recommend this facility to anyone with a true emergency for their dog.

I was recommended to go here with my dog Max by my friend. I am so happy that I listened to her recommendation! I drove a little over an hour to get there. The staff behind the desk went well out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They were also very polite and nice. Once we got to go to a room to wait for the vet, it was a long wait. The vet did apologize for the wait and stated that another animal needed more of their attention before she could get to me (my puppy was not in a serious emergency state, so I understood). The vet answered all of my questions, she was very thorough. I could tell that she was very knowledgeable and it made me feel more at ease. The tech vets were just a great as well. Overall I spent four hours there, but it was well worth the wait. Prices were high, but you need to think about it as a hospital... because that is what they are. So overall, I am 100% completely satisfied with our experience. Thank you for all for your help there!

Our 3 1/2 month old German Shepherd Winston injured his leg so we took him to Care Center in Centerville. They found that he had fractured his elbow and would require surgery. They got him stable, on pain meds and transported him to Cincinnati for surgery. The staff at both locations were wonderful they kept us update in the late evening on the his move and had no issue with my numerous calls checking on him during the night. The surgery was a success and we got to bring him home the next day, to our surprise our estimated cost was higher than our bill and we received a refund. I would highly recommend the Care Center in either Centerville or Cincinnati to anyone, I will not hesitate to take my animals there they were truly wonderful and I can't thank them enough for everything they did for Winston.

When any of my beloved pets need care beyond what our veterinarian can provide, we rely on The Care Center. I'm very thankful they are there for us!!! They most recently saved our Boxers life. He has been diagnosed with Boxer Cardiomyopathy. The medication prescribed by the ER doctor literally took our beloved pet from deaths door, back to the funny, goofy guy we love. The vets and techs are kind, knowledgeable and caring. They even sent me a text with a picture of my boy while he was a patient there. How sweet is that? Today Rocky saw their cardiologist. Once again, compassion and incredible knowledge was shown. Yes they are expensive, but they are there when we need them AND THEY SAVE LIVES! Thank you and God bless you all!! I took my long haired chihuahua to the Care Center due to back problems. He had done seem two other vets that gave him med's but non of the med's helped. After doing this for a week my vet referred me to the Care Center. The Care Center is almost two hour away from my home but the only place that done emergency serves. So I loaded up Dippy and heeded to there facility. He was in server pain when we arrived. The took him back right away to evaluate him. It did take a little while before the talked to us but they take care of the most critical patients first so that was understandable to me. Once I did talk to them they told me what all they wanted to do and gave me an estimate of how much it could cost. They came back with an estimated of 4600. to over 5000. I could not believe how expensive they were. I gave them 4000. down and left my sweet baby there. They started him on an IV right away so they could give him pain meds. They also sent me pics of him a couple times a and I really appreciate that since I live so far away. I think they done a great job with him while he was there. They done his surgery and gave him meds to take home. He is doing great. I really think this is a great place and they do great work. The only down fall for me was the price.

I had an emergency with both my dogs. My vet couldn't see them and recommended I take them to Care Center. They were seen right away (some people complained about urgency - it functions like a human ER and hospital; the most urgent cases are taken first. It's not first come, first serve) and a tech came out to tell me their vitals/etc. within 5 minutes. Dr. Ruparel was excellent - probably the best medical provider I've had experience with considering both humans and animals, and I work in the medical field so I have seen many "bad" and "good" providers. Her rapport was wonderful in a very stressful situation. She needed to sedate both dogs, and she came out to explain again and worked with me as far as my work situation. She called me that night to give me and update. After I took them home, she called the next morning to see how they were doing and to give me practical tips on how to do some of the treatment and management. I really appreciated her competence and compassion. All of the techs, staff were very helpful. The tech who explained to me the treatment plan (Dr. Ruparel was no longer on shift) was excellent - I thought she had been doing it for years but apparently she had recently started. I had questions and she followed up quickly with the Vet. Many thanks to Care Center.

Amazing place. All the staff we have encountered and Dr. Schrader are absolutely amazing. We had our young pup Harley there last year with a broken growth plate in her back leg. She has healed and she is back to her normal self, doing great. We just left there today after picking up our 2nd dog kyra that had an acl tear which turned into a horrible infection in her knee. Luckily, they caught the infection in time and put her on meds. We took her in for a follow up yestersay and they eneded up keeping her to do her surgery. Dr. Schrader has been wonderful. We couldn't ask for a better experience during this stressful time. Brought the staff some goodies to eat through afternoon to show our appreciation but we will never be able to thank you guys enough for caring for our dogs like they were one of their own.

Just picked my big guy up from having an ACL repair surgery with Dr. Schrader and I couldn't be more pleased with my entire experience. From the educated staff that answered my questions by phone prior to surgery, to the compassion that was shown to me upon intake (I was quite emotional), the entire staff here TRULY cares! Dr. Schrader did an AMAZING job on the surgery, his site looks beautiful! Upon picking my Sinatra up I was educated extensively on his at home care as well as rehabilitation options that are available at this facility (Hydrotherapy?!?! YES!!). They turned a very scary and painful experience (for our Sinatra AND our family) into a positive and compassionate one! I look forward to continuing our choice of services with THIS facility! Thank you ALL for what you do!!! It means so much to our family!!

My poor kitty was not acting her self and began to be lethargic. I don't have money up front to have taken her to a vet. I got approved for care credit but local vet office didn't have anyone in office till a week later. Worried about my baby not eating, drinking or using bathroom I decided to take a vacation day off work and drive over an hour to this location. I knew my kitty was sick but was very distraught when the vet told me that original tests came back ok and that they wanted to run over $2,000 worth of testing. Me and my 10 year old son just lost it. There was no way I could afford that. They came back with a lower $1300 estimate but I felt as if I had no choice but to end my kitties life. The vet was nice enough but she kept saying the kitty is very sick. I had no idea what was going on. I felt numb and cornered. My son was crying and didn't understand I had to choose between not being able to pay bills or the life of my baby 5 year old kitty. I just lost a fur baby 3 months ago and it was hard to lose another one. A lady who rescued cats told me the next day she thought the vet should have given her IVs and antibiotics and sent me home. How true that is I don't know and will never know. The staff at front desk were nice enough. The young man who brought me in the estimates was nice enough too but it did seem that money was a huge priority to this place. I only saw the vet for a few minutes and honestly felt like she was a little rushed. I ended up paying almost $400 for my visit and to end my kitties life. I don't know if I feel I would go back here or not. RIP Fluffy

Took my dog Skye to Care for the first time a few weeks ago. She just wasn't feeling well and we had no idea what was wrong with her based on her symptoms. There was hardly any wait time and they took great care of her. Turns out her symptoms were "swimmer's tail". Dr. Shepherd took the time to explain the condition to me and even to my mom on the phone. What a professional and caring staff! Skye is now back to wagging her tail continuously! Thanks Care Center!

To start any negative reviews you read are probably from people that were extremely stressed out. This was my first experience and it could not have been better especially since it was at 3:30am to almost 6am. My cat and best friend Rocky was experiencing uninary blockage, and for male cats can be fatal. I wanted to wait till the following morning to take him to the vet but when I checked on him, I felt that wouldn't be wise. I started by calling. I reached Becca on the phone and she was very helpful with explaining how things would work and that she agreed with bringing him in. She also made sure the staff was advised I was coming.
She greeted me and took Rocky straight back while I filled out paper work. Rocky is not good with new people and he took right to the staff!
Dr. Farrell met with me some time later to get some info and to explain to me how to proceed. He had the fore-sight to give Rocky an ultra sound vs going straight to possibly expensive x-rays. I was set up with proper medication and Rocky made a full recovery. Obviously this a synopsis of the entire story but the end of be story is that it was a great experience though of very stressful situation for me. Rocky means a lot to me and the staff made me feel like he meant something to them!

We are so GRATEFUL for the care you gave our fur baby KuKi . We know you have many patients in your practice but you always made me feel like Kuki was one of your own family members. You showed so much love for her and you have no idea how much that means to me. Kuki came in your office in bad conditions , she had lost a lot of blood and to top it off found out she had a penny in her stomach . We were devastated to know how critic her condition was , luckily she was in great hands. We are very thankful Dr Raghu and the staff did everything possible to keep my baby alive . We did not have the funds to get her treatment, Dr Raghu and staff did everything in their power to get as much funds as they could to safe Kuki . Now shes better and stable... !! What a caring and nurturing facility! The doctors, nurses and support staff were gentle, patient and kind. They helped our Emily when she had a problem with her eye on a Sunday when every other vet office is closed. We were pleased with their intake process, and they let us hold on to her before the vet was able to give us his diagnosis. Dr. Carey took the time we needed to ask questions and we never felt as though we were being rushed out of the exam room. They also communicated to our regular vet office the following day so her records were up to date there as well. Would always recommend this animal hospital in case of any pet emergency!

I must tell you that this facility is indeed first rate as far as the staff and the building. Beautiful! But the problem I had with them was their financial terms. When I brought my cat in for treatment they gave me an estimate of $1652. They required a deposit of $1161!! That is a 70% deposit! I had a bad time getting that amount together. I looked on their website for financial arrangements and there was nothing listed to help me out. My cat had to stay longer than estimated and they wanted to do another procedure which they wanted another deposit of funds for $398! For a $580 procedure. I spoke to the vet and complained about these unreal deposits. I ended up not having to pay this deposit. My final balance was $929. For a grand total of $2,090. When I picked up my cat I told the girls at the desk they might want to offer Care Credit. They told me they do have that and pointed to a small stand at the end of the counter. I told them that nothing was on their website about it and not one employee let me know they offered it. They then asked if I wanted it after I had paid this giagantic bill for my cat's blocked uretha that had a mucus plug removed. I had other dogs and cats with the same problem and the cost was $500 to $600. So all in all they have great care. But it costs 4 to 5 times the normal amount! And you better have large sums to even have them treat your animals.

Our dog was run over this past weekend and everyone at the center was very attentive to her needs. Unfortunately, the damage she suffered was far too extensive and we had to put her down. I work in medicine with people and completely understood Lady's prognosis and feel as if I was given the most accurate recommendation on how to proceed in her care. They were honest and up front communicating with me and I truly appreciate that. Thanks to each and every one of you that treated Lady as your own. You are very special people to our family!

I have used the Care Center many times. They are currently working on my much cherished 2 year old as we speak. They go above and beyond with care and their compassion is great. They're fees are so reasonable for the amount of work they put into the efforts to recover animals to their fullest. I don't think some people understand this. Your regular vet may offer a cheaper "hospitalization", but having worked for vets, that means your pet is left alone many times for up to 12 hours alone and that under trained people are handling critical care. I am so very, very grateful to have the Care Center at my disposal and that I work with a family vet who recognizes the true value of critical/emergent care. The quality of care and the quality of staff is second to none.

I want to thank the staff of Care Center (Dr. Marlo Anderson, Mary Beth, Katrina, and so many others) from the bottom of my heart. It has been a long 72+ hours but I am so grateful for the kindness and skill the doctors, vet techs, and receptionists displayed.
My miniature schnauzer Belle started exhibiting terrible symptoms that included vomiting, bloody diarrhea, dehydration, etc. I immediately brought her to Care Center. She stayed there for three days and two nights. The professionalism and compassion of the staff was top-notch. Yes, it is expensive. But this isn't a situation where you shop around for price because you are buying a used car and want to get a deal - this is an animal's life, and I would pay the costs all over again in a heartbeat.
I visited Belle four times during her stay. I was always welcomed, and the staff does their best to keep your wait time to minimum. Note, you may wait. Welcome to adulthood, where you have to wait for good, quality things. The wait was always worth it.
Dr. Anderson was thorough and kind through the entire process. My Mom even received a photo via text of Belle resting in her cage. The attention to detail was astounding.
I am so grateful a place like Care Center exists. It's where you go when circumstances are above your family vet's head. Hopefully we never have to return, but if we do I will rest a little easier knowing that such a wonderful staff works there.

Don't have enough good things to say about this place. Brought my dog here late on a Friday night after she was ripped apart by another dog and they were so quick to get me in that they met me in the lot to get my dog from me. She was being diagnosed for about 20 minutes and was in surgery for about 3 hours being cared for. The staff was extremely caring and sweet and the docs were extremely knowledgeable. I will say the prices are very expensive but to be honest with the amount of care she got when it was needed most, I am not going to complain in the least for this is truly one of those moments where you get what you pay for. I would absolutely return for another pet emergency.

The facility is beautiful! And, I do mean beautiful. Everyone is super professional. The Saturday afternoon admins are very dry. The prices for a male cat with a blocked urinary tract was 4 time MORE than what I paid for the same procedure at another location, not associated with Care Center, back in 2013. I was floored. Absolutely floored. I'm still shaking my head. I am sure my cat received knowledgeable care by 24/7 Doctor-staffed and operated facility, but in 2013 when my cat was near kidney failure, and in much worse shape that he was this past Saturday, I took him to a Veterinarian office that also offered emergency services to ailing animals. They did the EXACT same procedures for 1/4 of the price. In 2013 I paid $450.00. This past Saturday the charges came to $1600.00 at Care Center!! I took those estimates on those same services to the previous place that had treated my cat and the estimate came back at $466.00. My heart is sick. I am disappointed beyond disappointed that I allowed myself to apply for a Credit Card to pay for these services at that amount when I should have taken him another 30 minutes by care to where he had been before. While I have no doubt that the care was excellent and the Doctors are knowledgeable, what I believe I am paying for is the fact that this place is ONLY a 24/7 hospital, and not also making money treating pets routinely as a veterinarian office. I will NEVER visit this place again and I'll not too soon forget that I spent 4 times what I had to for something 10 minutes from my home to save me drive time and personal time. Never again.

I have never written a review in my life, but was so pleased with my experience here last week I created an account on yelp to do just that. I have two dogs that I have had to bring here for various things throughout the years and have always been more than satisfied with the care. It's a little more expensive then a regular vet, but that is to be expected since it is a 24/7 facility. Last week I had to bring an elderly pet in to be euthanized due to my odd working schedule and the limited holiday hours of my regular vet. It was an experience I would have rather not had, but I could not be more pleased with how I was treated by the entire staff -from the girl at the front answering phones to the vet that performed the procedure and sat with me the whole time. They were all beyond compassionate and understanding of the difficult situation I was dealing with. Today I even got a sympathy card from them with a nice handwritten message from the vet and a Pawprint from my deceased dog. The facility has always been clean and well-maintained and all the staff has always been professional. I cannot recommend them more for the excellent way they handled my dogs' care and my concerns. I can admittedly be critical of things, however this place even surpassed my expectations.

In July of this year, our 2.5 year-old Yorkshire Terrier was vomiting and having abdominal pains. We took her to the CARE Center and discovered via blood work and ultrasounds that she was suffering from Acute Pancreatitis. CARE Center staff including doctors, vet techs and nurses helped us navigate this scary and difficult time. Our yorkie was in the hospital for 8 long days. They were aggressive with meds and changing up the meds on a day-by-day basis. Everyone at this facility demonstrated caring and professionalism. I would visit 2x per day and was encouraged to call any time day or night. Yes, it was a bit expensive and yes, we were approached with quotes for services rendered to our dog and that was fine with us. We always felt she was in caring hands and being monitored much closer than we could have done it at home.Our Yorkie has been home with us now over 2 months and she is recovered and back to her normal, happy & playful self.I would just encourage all pet lovers to consider Pet Insurance. That is my only regret. More than likely, pet insurance would have covered 90% of this huge pet bill. Of course, It was worth every penny to have my fur baby recovered, home & happy!

Our oldest dog had to have a splenectomy and we were totally nervous about the operation (that's alot for anyone, even a dog). The staff and board certified surgeons at the CARE Center were thoughtful, thorough and really actually caring. We were given a cost estimate range (depending on what they had to do once they got in surgery) and they did not charge the max when they were done. Our dog has recovered nicely.Great staff, service and professionals.Oh yeah, and there's a HUGE Charlie Harper mural in the lobby (see pic).
