This used to be my primary veterinarian, in part because I naively assumed that, because the facility was nicer-looking than Cherry Grove Animal Hospital, it was more professional. However, I ditched this place a few years ago, and I'm happy I did. Even with appointments, the wait times could be incredibly long, sometimes forcing me to keep my anxious cat in a carrier while in the main lobby, which had other pets around to scare it, for over 15 minutes.
The staff's bedside manners were also poor. In particular, I once took in a pregnant stray cat, and the leukemia test they performed on her was "slightly positive." The vet explained how this disease would kill the cat, along with the kittens in her belly. However, she then told me that the test strip seemed defective, so they would try another. That left me sitting there praying for the cat for over ten minutes until the vet came back in and informed us that a correctly-functioning strip didn't find leukemia. Why scare a patient like that when you could have just said the strip was defective, so you needed to try another?
I found the service at Cherry Grove Animal Hospital, right nearby, to be much more qualified, friendly, affordable, and timely.

Having just read David Evans review, I could hardly believe he was talking about the hospital where I have worked for 18 years. I actually wonder if he reviewed the correct hospital. Of course All Creatures was named such because they do see All Creatures. Dr Meakin has a special interest in exotics and especially snakes and all types of lizard and is sought for his expertise. No one at this hospital would ever refuse to make an appointment for a gecko and most importantly would not have to refer to anyone else.

Haven't even been there and already don't like it! The only reason I called ALL CREATURES is because I figured they treated ALL CREATURES, I called seeing if they would look at my sick chameleon and the lady said NO no reptiles and they couldn't even recommend me a place to take my reptiles.First off this is false advertising and second, what kind of pet clinic can't even recommend a certain place. How unprofessional . But that's ok I have no problem sticking to my clermont county pet clinic! Thanks!!

I would have given a big fat goose egg if I could've. This place is a total joke. All they want is your money. They do not care about you or your pet. We took our 4 month old kitten in yesterday and was given an estimate of 450-700 without even giving us a diagnosis. When we told Dr. Raab that we would like to start and see what they can tell us for 200 they treated my husband like he was the scum of the earth! Their credit card machine and computers were acting up all day according to Courtney. Clearly Dr. Raab needs to learn some compassion for people and their animals. My husband was there for almost 3 hours yesterday and they pretty much told us that our kitten had Panleukopenia. This is pretty much a death sentence and there is nothing much that can be done. My husband went ahead and paid $182 for the medication and we took our kitten home in hopes we could keep him comfortable until he passes. Well at 7:30 last evening I came home to what I thought would most likely be my kitten dead. Little to my surprise he started walking and eating on his own. As of this morning he was almost back to his sweet loving self and even drank and ate on his own once again! To say this place is a disgrace is too nice. The only thing I can be thankful for is I hopefully she was put behind for the rest of the day and never caught up. She is a horrible person to make someone feel that way! I believe she made a rash decision to just suck money out of our family and did not even care if our cat made a recovery or not! I pray that no one ever has to go through what we did and this place knows how awful of a vet she is. I could honestly go on for a while about this but I do not wish to waste anymore of my time. I wish to spend time with my sweet little Crushman! Please get your act together and get rid of that heartless person that calls herself a vet!

I scheduled my appointment to be the first one of the day (10:00). I was a few minutes early, and was not informed of any issues. At 10:45 when I left, the Vet was just arriving and was still going to be 15 minutes before she could see me. This is totally unacceptable. If I had been 45 minutes late, my appointment would have been cancelled. When I asked the Tech (who did an awesome job) what the hold-up was, I was informed that the Vet owned a bunch of dogs that they had to deal with in the mornings and some mornings were better than others. I would not recommend the Anderson location and will be switching to Amelia even though it€s a 45 minute drive. If I had not purchased a Wellness Program, I would be switching completely.

The swiftness of them taking in an animal they had never seen before, assessing him, stabilizing him, performing surgery, all the while trying to calm my husband, was truly a blessing. Took my dying puppy to Dr Dan. He spent HOURS working on her. Doing everything he could (after another vet clinic had her for 3 days) Unfortunately. I got her to him to late. But the compassion and care he gave her was more than I have ever seen from a vet before. From that day on, He will be my only vet. Thank you to you and your staff for all you did. I have since gotten a new puppy (pictured) and had her checked right away and all is good with her.

I went here reading the decent reviews I saw online and I had high hopes for this place. My puppy broke his leg and at first they where very good. Kept up on the appointments and called to check on him weekly. After about a month the calls stop and my puppy kept one of his splints on for 3 weeks with no check up or calls. Communication is horrible there and not to mention they put a cast on a Sunday and my puppy came back Tuesday because it had fallen off and they made me pay full price for a new one. They said the owner of the place would call me and he didn't call me until 9:30 at night. When my puppy first got his cast off all of his fur had been ripped off and he was bleeding from being rubbed raw. My puppy has been out of his cast for 3 months now and when he stands, he stands with his foot crooked. It didn't even heal right. I will never go back to them or even recommend all creatures animal hospital to anyone. (Did I mention I still pay monthly for all of this)

Came on a Sunday, knew it would take a little longer than usual but didn't know it was going to take 3 hours.... after giving my pup staples (because she had a decent size gash in her leg from climbing and falling on a cement block) I found they cut her with a razor while shaving and said nothing about it.... also this place is super expensive. $200 for 6 staples, and antibiotic medication.

Have a wellness plan on 3 animals at All Creatures. Went in person to schedule by dogs spay and day before they tell me she is due for vaccinations and they cant spay her. Why was I not told 3 weeks ago when I made the appointment? I take her in for her vaccinations and sat in the waiting room for over an hour. Finally go back and Dr. Meakin was rushed and said he had surgeries to do. He informed us to just tell the vet tech when she came back what we needed and we could go. We sat for over 20 minutes waiting for her to come back. She was shocked to see us still there because everyone had left including the check out person. (who was sitting outside smoking) We were forgotten in a room!!! We finally checked out. Our appointment was over 2 hours for routine shots.
I have always had good experience in Amelia with Dr. Leap (he is awesome!) but the Anderson location is not very good.

I would like to thank Dr. Compton and the rest of the staff for their kindness and compassion they gave when I had to put my sweet dog to rest. He was almost 10 and was very sick. We went in hoping for help, but, sadly, we had exhausted all of our options in helping him. My sweet boy was suffering and we had to say goodbye. This was last weekend and my heart just hasn't been the same. Everyone involved made this so much easier than it could have been. The cost didn't cost us our mortgage either. Although we had a heartbreaking visit, I'm forever grateful for the wonderful care my dog received and the compassion his humans received.

While I have little feedback regarding the vet portion of this business I will say that I will never board another animal there. We boarded our Shepard mix while on vacation. We called every other day while away to check on her and no one ever really knew anything. That was our first sign. When I picked her up the staff was very tight lipped about her stay there. They brought her dog bed to me in a garbage bag and tossed her medicine in the bag as well. When we got home and went to pull her bed out it was literally dripping with urine! She has only rarely ever had an accident since a pup. To make matters worse we realized the next day that she was having problems urinating. We took her to our vet and she was urinating bright red urine. We are still not certain what happened there since we received absolutely no paperwork but it's been a month and we are STILL having to have her treated. We are about $400 in vet bills to date and she is still having issues. She will be going back yet again this week. If you truly care for your animal do your homework before choosing a boarding service. They will NEVER see us there again. Our vet has mentioned possible abuse. Makes us sick.

I have been going to All Creatures for 15 years. I am truly pleased with what kind of practice they have built. I can get total pet care under on roof just like the say! I have had everything from an ACL repair to boarding to training and grooming done there. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experiance. They are open 7 days a week and they always have a doctor on call! Who else can say that. We are very blessed to have such great doctors and a caring staff so close to us!

I would have given a big fat goose egg if I could've. This place is a total joke. All they want is your money. They do not care about you or your pet. We took our 4 month old kitten in yesterday and was given an estimate of 450-700 without even giving us a diagnosis. When we told Dr. Raab that we would like to start and see what they can tell us for 200 they treated my husband like he was the scum of the earth! Their credit card machine and computers were acting up all day according to Courtney. Clearly Dr. Raab needs to learn some compassion for people and their animals. My husband was there for almost 3 hours yesterday and they pretty much told us that our kitten had Panleukopenia. This is pretty much a death sentence and there is nothing much that can be done. My husband went ahead and paid $182 for the medication and we took our kitten home in hopes we could keep him comfortable until he passes. Well at 7:30 last evening I came home to what I thought would most likely be my kitten dead. Little to my surprise he started walking and eating on his own. As of this morning he was almost back to his sweet loving self and even drank and ate on his own once again! To say this place is a disgrace is too nice. The only thing I can be thankful for is I hopefully she was put behind for the rest of the day and never caught up. She is a horrible person to make someone feel that way! I believe she made a rash decision to just suck money out of our family and did not even care if our cat made a recovery or not! I pray that no one ever has to go through what we did and this place knows how awful of a vet she is. I could honestly go on for a while about this but I do not wish to waste anymore of my time. I wish to spend time with my sweet little Crushman! Please get your act together and get rid of that heartless person that calls herself a vet!

I scheduled my appointment to be the first one of the day (10:00). I was a few minutes early, and was not informed of any issues. At 10:45 when I left, the Vet was just arriving and was still going to be 15 minutes before she could see me. This is totally unacceptable. If I had been 45 minutes late, my appointment would have been cancelled. When I asked the Tech (who did an awesome job) what the hold-up was, I was informed that the Vet owned a bunch of dogs that they had to deal with in the mornings and some mornings were better than others. I would not recommend the Anderson location and will be switching to Amelia even though it€s a 45 minute drive. If I had not purchased a Wellness Program, I would be switching completely.

I would like to thank all the staff for their expedient care they gave my 7 pound fur baby, Diesel, on Christmas Eve. He was involved in a horrific incident with my much larger dog. The swiftness of them taking in an animal they had never seen before, assessing him, stabilizing him, performing surgery, all the while trying to calm my husband, was truly a blessing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for saving our little man!

Took my dying puppy to Dr Dan. He spent HOURS working on her. Doing everything he could (after another vet clinic had her for 3 days) Unfortunately. I got her to him to late. But the compassion and care he gave her was more than I have ever seen from a vet before. From that day on, He will be my only vet. Thank you to you and your staff for all you did. I have since gotten a new puppy (pictured) and had her checked right away and all is good with her.

I went here reading the decent reviews I saw online and I had high hopes for this place. My puppy broke his leg and at first they where very good. Kept up on the appointments and called to check on him weekly. After about a month the calls stop and my puppy kept one of his splints on for 3 weeks with no check up or calls. Communication is horrible there and not to mention they put a cast on a Sunday and my puppy came back Tuesday because it had fallen off and they made me pay full price for a new one. They said the owner of the place would call me and he didn't call me until 9:30 at night. When my puppy first got his cast off all of his fur had been ripped off and he was bleeding from being rubbed raw. My puppy has been out of his cast for 3 months now and when he stands, he stands with his foot crooked. It didn't even heal right. I will never go back to them or even recommend all creatures animal hospital to anyone. (Did I mention I still pay monthly for all of this)

Came on a Sunday, knew it would take a little longer than usual but didn't know it was going to take 3 hours.... after giving my pup staples (because she had a decent size gash in her leg from climbing and falling on a cement block) I found they cut her with a razor while shaving and said nothing about it.... also this place is super expensive. $200 for 6 staples, and antibiotic medication.

Have a wellness plan on 3 animals at All Creatures. Went in person to schedule by dogs spay and day before they tell me she is due for vaccinations and they cant spay her. Why was I not told 3 weeks ago when I made the appointment? I take her in for her vaccinations and sat in the waiting room for over an hour. Finally go back and Dr. Meakin was rushed and said he had surgeries to do. He informed us to just tell the vet tech when she came back what we needed and we could go. We sat for over 20 minutes waiting for her to come back. She was shocked to see us still there because everyone had left including the check out person. (who was sitting outside smoking) We were forgotten in a room!!! We finally checked out. Our appointment was over 2 hours for routine shots.
I have always had good experience in Amelia with Dr. Leap (he is awesome!) but the Anderson location is not very good.

I would like to thank Dr. Compton and the rest of the staff for their kindness and compassion they gave when I had to put my sweet dog to rest. He was almost 10 and was very sick. We went in hoping for help, but, sadly, we had exhausted all of our options in helping him. My sweet boy was suffering and we had to say goodbye. This was last weekend and my heart just hasn't been the same. Everyone involved made this so much easier than it could have been. The cost didn't cost us our mortgage either. Although we had a heartbreaking visit, I'm forever grateful for the wonderful care my dog received and the compassion his humans received.

While I have little feedback regarding the vet portion of this business I will say that I will never board another animal there. We boarded our Shepard mix while on vacation. We called every other day while away to check on her and no one ever really knew anything. That was our first sign. When I picked her up the staff was very tight lipped about her stay there. They brought her dog bed to me in a garbage bag and tossed her medicine in the bag as well. When we got home and went to pull her bed out it was literally dripping with urine! She has only rarely ever had an accident since a pup. To make matters worse we realized the next day that she was having problems urinating. We took her to our vet and she was urinating bright red urine. We are still not certain what happened there since we received absolutely no paperwork but it's been a month and we are STILL having to have her treated. We are about $400 in vet bills to date and she is still having issues. She will be going back yet again this week. If you truly care for your animal do your homework before choosing a boarding service. They will NEVER see us there again. Our vet has mentioned possible abuse. Makes us sick.

We loss her at that point. They did a wonderful job. They were caring and compassionate in our time of need. I want to thank them for all of their help and kindness.

I have been going to All Creatures for 15 years. I am truly pleased with what kind of practice they have built. I can get total pet care under on roof just like the say! I have had everything from an ACL repair to boarding to training and grooming done there. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experiance. They are open 7 days a week and they always have a doctor on call! Who else can say that. We are very blessed to have such great doctors and a caring staff so close to us!
