We have taken our pets here for ten-fifteen years, back when Dr. Murell was the owner. He was fantastic and when he retired, we weren't sure if we would stay. Dr. Baum had already been working with Dr. Murell, and we grew to love seeing him after Dr. M left. Dr. Baum is wonderful, very thorough, and will stay with you until you everything is explained and your questions are exhausted. Dr. Zilli is the best. She really cares about our dogs' health and is always knowledgeable when we have questions. 5 stars for her. We did experience a lack of followup with the office regarding scheduling an appointment after emailing them pertinent information. This vet clinic has gone through a few primary veterinarians. Currently Dr. Baum runs the show, and he's pretty good. There have been others that seemed to be bent on selling procedures, food, supplements, and treatments as though you were a mark at Best Buy or some other commissioned sales store. Read Less

We recently moved to the area and have taken both our dog and our cat to see Dr. Zilli and we received excellent care at both visits. A couple of weeks ago, I made an appointment to have our cat's nails trimmed today and I secured a sitter to watch my 3 young boys so I could go to the appointment. My sitter cancelled at the last minute and when I explained the situation to the very sweet (and very pregnant) woman at the reception desk, she told me not to worry, to head back to the car with my boys and she would bring our cat out to me when he was ready. Not only were they super accommodating, they were also super fast....it took maybe 4 minutes. This was an incredible level of customer service that I can't rave enough about! Read Less

Hopewell Animal Hospital is the best! We have taken all of our pets to Hopewell over the past 20 years. It all started with Miss Bailey as a pup, followed by her babies Marley and Budreau. Then we introduced Indy, followed by Riley to Hopewell. We have always been treated like family there and they love our babies and treat them as if they are their own. Recently our little Riley became very ill and required the help of a specialist. Dr. Baum worked late in the evening making arrangements to make sure that she could be seen by the specialist ASAP. When we had to take her to the emergency vet, he made calls on our behalf to ensure that we had the proper information so that we could make the right decisions for our little girl. After we lost our little Riley, Dr. Baum very patiently helped us try to understand what happened and helped us cope with her loss.
