I have 2 guinea pigs, we thought one was a girl and the other was a boy, which was quite a shock since we were told they both were males. So we quickly got an appointment the same day after being turned away by everyone else due to covid 19 and being backed up. Not only did they see us they were quick and efficient. The doctor was super friendly and caring and took as much time as I needed to talk and let me know if I ever have any more questions or issues to call. They only charged me for 1/2 and office visit for both. The good news is we do have 2 boys, one just looks a little more manly we shall say😂 Shout out to the staff too they were friendly as well and god love them they had to run in and out of the rain to get the pets and bring them back out.

For quality care at an affordable price, look no further! The staff is friendly, the vets are knowledgeable and put your pet's best interest first, they start appointments on time: all of this at a far more reasonable cost than most vets.
It should be noted that the location is noisy, so easily-startled animals might be shaken up by a passing truck or honking horn when getting out of the car. Just bring them inside, because the building does very well with muffling outside noise.

We just moved to Wyoming, and upon the suggestion of many, we went to Lewis. We haven’t been going to them long, but they helped myself and my husband make the difficult decision to put our dog to rest. They went above and beyond to make the experience as peaceful as possible. Our dog was very anxious and hated the vet—they let us stay outside with him and they administered the anesthetic right there under a tree in the sun were he wasn’t afraid or aware of the fact that he was at he vet. I can’t say enough about their caring bedside manner. As long as I live in this area, I will not take my dogs anywhere else.

I called on a Saturday morning to get our dog in that they had never seen and was in a lot of pain. They got our dog in right away. Not only did they get us in I was very happy with the doctor and I was even happier with the pricing. I have worked in vet clinics before and what I was expecting was going to be a several hundred dollar bill, and it was a third of that. I would definitely recommend this clinic and I will be taking all my animals there in the future.

Lewis Animal is absolutely the place for all of your pet care needs. Two of my dogs have been patients of Dr Polasky's, and he is a godsend to veterinary medicine. He brings not only expertise and professionalism to the table, but also genuine compassion for animals. When our last dog passed away, Dr P regularly stayed in touch to see how our family were doing. He did the same when my own father passed away in 2011. Dr P is a humanitarian and the only vet I'd ever recommend.

Maybe I just expected too much because of the great reviews. Maybe it's because my appointment was the last one of the day. Maybe I walked into vet office of the wrong dimension. Either way, my first experience there was lackluster.
The front staff are unfriendly, not rude or unpleasant, just not exactly, you know, nice. Then again, maybe they were just annoyed by the mournful meowing in stereo of the cats being held captive in their cells...I mean... carriers, trust me it drives me crazy too.
They misspelled my pet's name, even though it was written out for them on the paperwork they had me fill out. C'mon now, being named after a crazy movie director is way cooler than a sparkly vampire.
The vet tech said she was going to check to see if the vet had anything else for me and never came back. I thought we had a horror movie scenario on our hands and she was taken by some crazed animal in the back, but alas that was not the case. I saw her as I was leaving , so it was just a simple case of "forget the client in the exam room".
It wasn't all bad though. The vet assistant was very cool, even my cats seemed pretty chill with her. The vet herself, though she seemed rushed, was pretty easy to talk to and was able to answer just about all of my questions. Well, the ones I was given an opportunity to ask anyway.
It wasn't great, it wasn't terrible. Just meh. Would I go back? The location and hours are very convenient so maybe. The cats say no, but they'd say that about any vet.

I have been going to Lewis Animal Hospital for approximately 16 years. Over this time, the doctors and staff have treated my dogs, cats, and any rescues I bring in. The doctors consistently have struck me as being experienced as well as forthcoming with information about my pets' conditions and any treatments they receive in the sense that they teach me what in fact I need to know. I have absolute trust in the doctors because I believe they have never been inaccurate about diagnoses or advice. It is also clear that they care genuinely about my pets. They have even gone out of their way to offer help to me in an emergency situation when their office was closed! Very reasonably priced. Not ""test-happy"" like some other vets, who like to order LOTS of tests to rule out this and that. Friendly, helpful staff.

For quality care at an affordable price, look no further! The staff is friendly, the vets are knowledgeable and put your pet's best interest first, they start appointments on time: all of this at a far more reasonable cost than most vets.
It should be noted that the location is noisy, so easily-startled animals might be shaken up by a passing truck or honking horn when getting out of the car. Just bring them inside, because the building does very well with muffling outside noise.

We just moved to Wyoming, and upon the suggestion of many, we went to Lewis. We haven’t been going to them long, but they helped myself and my husband make the difficult decision to put our dog to rest. They went above and beyond to make the experience as peaceful as possible. Our dog was very anxious and hated the vet—they let us stay outside with him and they administered the anesthetic right there under a tree in the sun were he wasn’t afraid or aware of the fact that he was at he vet. I can’t say enough about their caring bedside manner. As long as I live in this area, I will not take my dogs anywhere else.

I called on a Saturday morning to get our dog in that they had never seen and was in a lot of pain. They got our dog in right away. Not only did they get us in I was very happy with the doctor and I was even happier with the pricing. I have worked in vet clinics before and what I was expecting was going to be a several hundred dollar bill, and it was a third of that. I would definitely recommend this clinic and I will be taking all my animals there in the future.

Lewis Animal is absolutely the place for all of your pet care needs. Two of my dogs have been patients of Dr Polasky's, and he is a godsend to veterinary medicine. He brings not only expertise and professionalism to the table, but also genuine compassion for animals. When our last dog passed away, Dr P regularly stayed in touch to see how our family were doing. He did the same when my own father passed away in 2011. Dr P is a humanitarian and the only vet I'd ever recommend.

Maybe I just expected too much because of the great reviews. Maybe it's because my appointment was the last one of the day. Maybe I walked into vet office of the wrong dimension. Either way, my first experience there was lackluster.
The front staff are unfriendly, not rude or unpleasant, just not exactly, you know, nice. Then again, maybe they were just annoyed by the mournful meowing in stereo of the cats being held captive in their cells...I mean... carriers, trust me it drives me crazy too.
They misspelled my pet's name, even though it was written out for them on the paperwork they had me fill out. C'mon now, being named after a crazy movie director is way cooler than a sparkly vampire.
The vet tech said she was going to check to see if the vet had anything else for me and never came back. I thought we had a horror movie scenario on our hands and she was taken by some crazed animal in the back, but alas that was not the case. I saw her as I was leaving , so it was just a simple case of "forget the client in the exam room".
It wasn't all bad though. The vet assistant was very cool, even my cats seemed pretty chill with her. The vet herself, though she seemed rushed, was pretty easy to talk to and was able to answer just about all of my questions. Well, the ones I was given an opportunity to ask anyway.
It wasn't great, it wasn't terrible. Just meh. Would I go back? The location and hours are very convenient so maybe. The cats say no, but they'd say that about any vet.

I have been going to Lewis Animal Hospital for approximately 16 years. Over this time, the doctors and staff have treated my dogs, cats, and any rescues I bring in. The doctors consistently have struck me as being experienced as well as forthcoming with information about my pets' conditions and any treatments they receive in the sense that they teach me what in fact I need to know. I have absolute trust in the doctors because I believe they have never been inaccurate about diagnoses or advice. It is also clear that they care genuinely about my pets. They have even gone out of their way to offer help to me in an emergency situation when their office was closed! Very reasonably priced. Not ""test-happy"" like some other vets, who like to order LOTS of tests to rule out this and that. Friendly, helpful staff.
