My family and I have been bringing our cats and dog to Madeira Veterinary Hospital for five years -- in that time our pets have received truly excellent care with compassion and real sensitivity to details. All of the people at Madeira seem wonderful and very happy with their work. I really don't think I have seen any turnover in staff in all of the time we've been bringing our pets to them -- always a good sign.

After moving here from Florida I made the wise decision of choosing Madeira Veterniary Hospital to care for my two Aussies. Dr Canis is a compassionate, sweet, and extremely knowledgeable veterinarian who has always taken the time to get to know us and our fur babies. She always provides us with solutions to our concerns or questions which is always reassuring. Best decision I’ve made, hands down!

I was visiting Cincinnati when my 5 lb Chihuahua puppy became ill. Even though I had no relationship with Madeira Vet hospital, they worked me in the day I called (a Friday) and spent an amazing amount of time with me and my puppy trying to get the info we needed to understand what was making her sick. Dr. Gillan and the receptionist staff were caring and concerned. On Sat, Dr. Gillan called me on her day off to give me the blood work results and do all of the necessary paperwork to get us to the emergency care we needed. I am very grateful for their care and recommend them highly.

They both went to heaven yesterday - a battle with kidney disease for Sydney and Isabella fell ill due to old age. Our family has been with Madeira Veterinary Hospital for 25 years. We've always had a lot of pets (dogs and cats), anywhere between 4 and 8 at a time. We've always experienced great care from all the doctors and staff over the years. From new puppy and kitten care, routine checkups, sick visits, surgeries, spay-neuters, dental care, elderly pets with chronic conditions, and end-of-life care, they've done it all and we feel they are the best!

This practice is amazing. We no longer live in Madeira but have continued to take our dogs here for their care. Each and every member of their staff has given our dogs (and their people) the most attentive, gentle and thorough care possible. The Vet Techs and Vets are so great with the dogs and the front office staff is wonderful, too. Just can't say enough about these guys- we love them all!!

I have been bringing my pets here for ever and have never had anything less than a great experience. The office is always so clean, and never smells like animals. Especially since they did the renovations, it's really very pretty. My cat Tuna definitely does not enjoy going to the vet no matter what (what cat does??), but I think he at least finds coming here not as unpleasant as it could be! Dr Canis is always so nice to him, and really spends time checking him out. I am always confident that if there were any issues with his health, she would definitely catch them. Definitely 5 stars.

This is a wonderful animal hospital. One of the doctors came up with a creative solution for a cat other veterinarians from a different practice had given up on. She lived another two lively, happy years. There has been virtually no turnover in staff in the 3 years I've been taking my dog and cats to Madeira, and my dog who was boarded at Madeira -- when they still had a boarding option -- was always happy to go in and visit. She had clearly been treated very well.

I brought my cat in for a checkup after she had seemed to be feeling poorly. My pets were former patients at Sycamore Animal Hospital. I found them I be cold and nonpersonable on our last few visits, and decided not to take our loved feline back. After a google search looking for a vet close to my home, I found Madeira Veterinary Hospital (madeira-vet.com) and made an appointment for the following morning. The vet, Christina, was thorough, friendly, and very kind and knowledgeable. She said she would follow up in two days. Her answers were concise and she showed compassion. I have found our new vet! There was even a $15 off first visit coupon on their website.

My family and I have been bringing our cats and dog to Madeira Veterinary Hospital for five years -- in that time our pets have received truly excellent care with compassion and real sensitivity to details. I was visiting Cincinnati when my 5 lb Chihuahua puppy became ill. Even though I had no relationship with Madeira Vet hospital, they worked me in the day I called (a Friday) and spent an amazing amount of time with me and my puppy trying to get the info we needed to understand what was making her sick. Our family has been with Madeira Veterinary Hospital for 25 years. We've always had a lot of pets (dogs and cats), anywhere between 4 and 8 at a time. We've always experienced great care from all the doctors and staff over the years. This practice is amazing. We no longer live in Madeira but have continued to take our dogs here for their care. Each and every member of their staff has given our dogs (and their people) the most attentive, gentle and thorough care possible. I have been bringing my pets here for ever and have never had anything less than a great experience. The office is always so clean, and never smells like animals. Especially since they did the renovations, it's really very pretty. My cat Tuna definitely does not enjoy going to the vet no matter what (what cat does??), but I think he at least finds coming here not as unpleasant as it could be! Dr Canis is always so nice to him, and really spends time checking him out. I am always confident that if there were any issues with his health, she would definitely catch them. Definitely 5 stars.

This is a wonderful animal hospital. One of the doctors came up with a creative solution for a cat other veterinarians from a different practice had given up on. She lived another two lively, happy years. There has been virtually no turnover in staff in the 3 years I've been taking my dog and cats to Madeira, and my dog who was boarded at Madeira -- when they still had a boarding option -- was always happy to go in and visit. She had clearly been treated very well.

I brought my cat in for a checkup after she had seemed to be feeling poorly. My pets were former patients at Sycamore Animal Hospital. I found them I be cold and nonpersonable on our last few visits, and decided not to take our loved feline back.
