I found a kitten outside of my friends apartment whose back legs weren't moving. I called around and set an appointment up with Oak Hills. The staff were so sweet and conpassionate, the kittens back was unfortunately broken and had to be put down but D.R. Gage was so caring and understanding I could tell that he cares about animals and pet owners. I would recommend them to everyone and if i ever get my own pet I definitely am going here. Sad situation but a good experience.

Dr. Gage and his staff are great people. They've taken excellent care of our pets and a couple litters of kittens we've fostered. I can't recommend them enough.

Prices are fair and everyone is AMAZING! You're greeted with a smile as soon as you walk in and I never have to sit with my terrified Bertha in the waiting room. Dr. Gage is fantastic, he spends time really listening to what you have to say and answer any questions. So glad I stopped going to those vets that are packed full and have no time to spend with your pet!

Gage is a very nice guy w grt knowledge very patient caring kind we stayed w oak hills animal hospital n western hills after Dr banta retired from oak hills animal hospital we had 4 cairns 1 westie from 1990 2 2008 after 7 yrs w/o a little companion we bought a 8 wk ole malti-poo when we bought her we went bk 2 Dr Gage @oak hills animal hospital w Karen & Judy at his side when we still were living n western hills but took a journey 2 live on the east side where 2 this day we continue 2 c Dr Gage & the staff bcuz I noe over the yrs we have trusted them w our pets I wood recommend oak hills animal hospital 2 anyone

Dr. Gage is very calm and caring. My pets pick up on this and settle right down, even though the circumstances are upsetting. He is thorough, doesn't automatically order every expensive test he can ...
Dr. Gage is very calm and caring. My pets pick up on this and settle right down, even though the circumstances are upsetting. He is thorough, doesn't automatically order every expensive test he can think of -- he is up front and only does what is necessary and kind. And the fees are very reasonable (about half what I was paying when I lived in the East side and had to skip some treatments for my kitties because I just couldn't afford it).

Dr. Gage is a very knowledgeable and gentle vet. I have a dog that is very wary around strangers and in strange places. Dr. Gage takes the time to put my dog at ease before the examination. He clearly explains any issues and treatments. His prices are very reasonable and his staff is excellent. I would highly recommend this vet.

Took me in very fast... about 1 minute, right on schedule! Appointment was nice... my cat didn't hate him as much as he hates most vets.. 1 little hiss instead of acting like Jekyll and Hyde..Cheap! ...

I found a kitten outside of my friends apartment whose back legs weren't moving. I called around and set an appointment up with Oak Hills. The staff were so sweet and conpassionate, the kittens back was unfortunately broken and had to be put down but D.R. Gage was so caring and understanding I could tell that he cares about animals and pet owners. I would recommend them to everyone and if i ever get my own pet I definitely am going here. Sad situation but a good experience.

He is thorough, doesn't automatically order every expensive test he can think of -- he is up front and only does what is necessary and kind. And the fees are very reasonable (about half what I was paying when I lived in the East side and had to skip some treatments for my kitties because I just couldn't afford it).
