Very disgusted with the experience, woman cut my friend’s dog. She wore her ring during a hands on procedure with his wiener and cut it causing blood to get on it and disabling the procedure to continue, and not giving a rufund. I believe a full refund should be given and more, they did more harm than good and cost the dog from continuing the procedure anywhere else and all plans to be put on hold involving it. A rufund is the least of our problems now, they could have given some compensation, as the procedure was not completed. Do not bring your dog to this vet if you need a hands on procedure. I took my 16 year old cat in for her first vet visit in 12 years, not knowing what it could entail.  The staff is very friendly and inviting and the vet didn't shame me for not having regular vet visits.  They don't push you into expensive tests and such and understand if you're on a budget.  Overall, my kitty is in good health and glad I found a compassionate vet nearby. I am not happy with my treatment here. My dog was being treated for conjestive heart failure and was on medication. During Friday night he seemed to have had a sroke and was not very responsive. I called the office for an emergency visit on Saturday. I was told they were too busy to see him. I was quite upset and crying telling them that I was a client and needed to be seen. They told me to go to an emergency clinic. Luckily I called Miamitown Veterinary Clinic and was told to come in immediately, even though they were also quite busy, they would fit me in. Unfortunately my beloved dog had to be put to sleep, but thank heavens the veterinarian was wonderful and treated me with respect and understanding. SHAME on Peach Grove Animal Hospital. I will never recommend them to anyone. They were not there for me at the time I really needed them.Read Less

I have been bringing my pets (dogs and cats) to Peach Grove for many years.  The staff has always been terrific, extremely friendly and helpful.  Dr. McArthur is terrific.  Always very friendly and explains her recommendations.  * I love the online Petly site for going back and checking on the treatment recommendations and just general info such as when the next vaccination is due.  * I just used the online pharmacy and that was terrific for a no hassel way to get refills on heartworm and flea treatments.  * I also love being able to communicate with the office via email - Dr. McArthur, you are staying up much too late and working too hard as I got an answer that evening on a perscription question!! Love PGAH they have a great staff and Dr's to care for your animals. My 1st experience when I moved to the area was calling them on the phone about ridding my dogs of fleas.They were very helpful just on the phone and I've taken my animals here ever since. They care about you and your pet. I also really like that they will give you a quote for the services they recommend and they are non judgmental of your choices for treatment. Pumpkin was very ill and I was still using our vet in KY. I tried Peach Grove to avoid the long trip to KY. Her care was excellent and everyone who cared for her was gentle and kind, just like her former care givers. I couldn't be more pleased. I had her records transferred to her new vets at Peach Grove. I have an old cat that we rescued and every vet I have taken her to has either half treated her wanted to do surgery on her mouth with little concern as to if that was the right move for a cat of her age and condition.  I took her to peachgrove and brought all cocoas records from the previous vets.  When I asked what they would do for her absessing piece of tooth and her very bad gums I was told we can do antibiotics and we have lasers to take care of this we don't have to put her under to do this.  She is not a candidate to have surgery as she has a heart murmur.  None of the vets told me she had a heart murmur and the doc said it was in the notes the docs wrote and she confirmed it when she examined cocoa.  The previous vet knew my cat had a heart murmur as evidenced by the notes she made but didn't tell me and was recommending surgery which would likely , f not certainly, have killed my cat.  On top of that, the surgery would have cost nearly 600.00, peachgrove can!e in at 400 for the laser treatment blood work and xrays.  That was a great price.  We will be bringing all of our cats here even though we are driving all the way from mason Ohio. I have to admit, I was worried when Dr. Gary Schoeder retired. He had treated our various Border Collies for two decades.  I began looking for another veterinarian, but I was so impressed with the addition of Dr. Wolfe, that I decided to stay at Peach Grove Animal Hospital while she is on staff!  She restored my faith in the practice I have been depending for almost thirty years and generations of rascally Border Collies.  While I know her passion is equine medicine, I hope she will continue to be a local veterinarian of all types of animals.  I guess if she goes back to Burlington to start her own practice I will, except for emergencies, travel there with my dogs for her incredible dedication and performance.  Her care and skill has blended to quickly establish a level of trust that even Gary had to earn over years, in just a few months.  To be honest, she is so like him, I thought she was his daughter.While no one will be able to fill the shoes of Gary, this young woman is about as good as it will get.  She understands customer service and friendliness, but more importantly she is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and is always in the process of learning the latest practices in the science, yet  presents it with clarity to the parents of the puppy patient.  For those long time customers like myself that had similar fears, let me tell you that you would be amiss to leave the practice, because while she is there the practice will keep the values and high standards that Gary established, and perhaps exceed them, because she is a bit of a science geek, but that is good thing.  She knows her stuff, yet has the same bedside manner and wisdom of a good old fashioned country doctor. Gone downhill fast. Front staff and doctors push you to their online store for meds with no medication direction even after you ask. The online site does not work. After i had to decide for myself which flea and tick treatment to purchase, the online site did not work at checkout. I clearly had my entire shipping addresss showing on the screen and it kept asking me for my state. I am sure i am not the only one to experience this. Time to find another vet. Read Less
