Dr. Lisa McMahan graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and has worked in the Cincinnati area since graduating. Dr. McMahan opened her own veterinary hospital in May, 2010 located in Symmes Township.
PAWS Hospital services include Physical and Wellness exams, Spay and Neuter, Vaccinations, Behavioral issues, Surgery, X-Ray and complete Dental procedures.

Dr. McMahan is great! My dog is never afraid when we take him for checkups. Pricing is also very reasonable.

Dr. Lisa and the staff are very kind, and we felt that our border collie Mickey was in very good hands. It was obvious, that they really do like working with animals. We never felt pressured to buy expensive and unnecessary diagnostic tests during our dogs illness . Dr. Lisa also took our Mickey in for an urgent surgery, even though she was totally booked for the day. The day when we had to say goodbye to Mickey, my husband was offered to come back another day and pay, because it was a very sad situation .... Two weeks later, we've got a condolence card from Dr. Lisa and her staff, and we very much appreciated that. Thank you for taking good care of our boy.

I just took our new puppy for a first time visit and had a wonderful experience from the moment I walked in. The staff was excellent and efficient and our visit started right as I walked in the door (no wait time!). Dr. Lisa is a fantastic clinician and spent nearly 45 minutes chatting with me about any questions/concerns or things I should expect with raising our puppy. It's evident she has a lot of experience and is truly passionate about what she does!

Dr. Lisa is amazing!! She is truly in it for the animals. When I brought in my 14yr old cat Kahlua, she made me feel like I was at my hometown vet again. When she scooped up Kahlua to examine him he just purred as loud as he could. I don't even know how she could hear his heart with all the purring. I've been looking for a vet for years since I moved from Dayton and now I finally found the right one. Thank you so much Dr. Lisa.

Dr. McMahon is the best vet I have ever worked with. She does not have exam tables so that immediately took away from the intimidation for my pup. She treats every animal like they are her own and makes recommendations based on the animal's health, not like some others who give unnecessary shots to increase the bill. She and her staff are amazing and I'm so glad she is our vet!

I just took our new puppy for a first time visit and had a wonderful experience from the moment I walked in. The staff was excellent and efficient and our visit started right as I walked in the door (no wait time!). Dr. Lisa is a fantastic clinician and spent nearly 45 minutes chatting with me about any questions/concerns or things I should expect with raising our puppy.
