Dr Kelly runs a great small practice. She is very smart, creatively thinks about potential issues and how to address them in the most cost effective ways, and is kind to the animals and their families. To start, I think all the negative reviews are from the previous owners- Before Dr. Kelly Rehmer took over the practice. Dr. Kelly (As she goes by) is one of the best and most patient vets I have ever been to! She spends time with you and your pet, answering all the questions you may have, making sure you feel comfortable and confident in her care. Whenever she calls you for a follow-up to a test or appointment, she doesn't rush you off the phone, but instead makes sure you get all the answers you need. No dog likes going to the vet- but I can say my dog feels comfortable coming here. Prices are moderate- most vets are expensive either way. I would recommend Dr. Kelly to anyone. Read Less

Dr. Kelly and her staff are caring, knowledgeable, and kind. I've never met a vet who would go the extra mile for her patients the way Dr. Kelly does--time and time again. I have always gone to my Vet around the corner but I have heard so much good things about Dr Kelly Rehmer It is about 40 min away but worth the drive . Dr. Kelly spends time talking to you and quickly bonded with my 10 year old bulldog Ozzie He just fell in love with her. She looks and dives into every cause that may be the culprit in your loved ones health problems. I respect her as a doctor and a person. Poor service, unpleasant staff, incompetent vets and after hundreds of dollars in fees, my dog was still sick and losing all of his fur. Since I rescued the dog earlier this year I've been attempting to identify and solve his many health problems but each time I took him to in, I saw a different vet who gave me a different diagnosis and stronger more expensive medications. Very frustrating because he smelled really bad and was miserable. Finally gave up on this vet went to a new one who tested for an underlying illness and suggested a much more affordable and simple treatment. The dog is now showing improvement. The clinic is clean and doesn't smell like "dog". When I come with my mother we are always welcomed by the receptionists. There is one girl who has been there for years and we enjoy seeing familiar faces, unlike some vets who always seem to rotate their staff which I hate. I hope this staff stays. Read Less

I would never bring an animal here based on the way I was treated over the phone. My fiancee had a great experience with this place for 15 years, but I have heard negative comments about them from neighbors. Against my better judgement, I called today for an emergency appointment and was treated SO RUDE by a girl named Renee. She was so cold and so rude that I will NEVER EVER bring my animals here. Being new to the Heights neighborhood, I was not sure where to take my new puppy for the numerous shots/pills/exams/etc.. he needed. Luckily, a co-worker recommended Dr. Kelly Rehmer at Green Road Animal Hospital. I couldn't be more pleased with her patience (my puppy is a handful...or lap-full rather), reasonable prices, respect for myself and my 2 dogs, and overall knowledge.
