I've been coming here for years, and the staff is always kind and wonderful. Happy to help with whatever they can from regular check-ups to end of life care for animals. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is they have a after hours answering service which seems to be pointless because they've never relayed a message to a doctor no matter how the severity. We were very disappointed with our experience at this location. We were new patients, and explained to them over the phone that we were having aggression issues with our dog and our two other dogs at home. Upon bringing her in, we were put in a room where the wall was a waist high cinder-glass wall. This caused our dog to be extremely anxious and alert as anytime she heard or saw a person or a dog she would try and jump up to see them. When the Doctor and tech came in to examine, she was already very nervous and in a heightened state so when the tech was holding her down she nipped at him. While I completely understand that this is unacceptable behavior from our dog, and do not condone it at all, I can also understand why it happened. The doctor, then recommended that we do not bring her back to the clinic and consult a home behaviorist or think about euthanasia. Again, I understand that the behavior was unacceptable, but we were there to try and receive help instead we ultimately left with more questions than we came with and were $230 poorer. I will say, that the tech was nice and handled the lunging incident very well, and the front desk staff was very nice. I do feel though that if your dog has anxiety or aggression issues, it would be best served somewhere else and I will not be bringing my other two dogs to this location. Read Less

Not a good place for dogs who have social anxiety or are not comfortable around other animals. Exam rooms are open which can cause for an uneasy animal to be defensive. The constant noise and movement can make any animal worried let alone an animal that has been abused. My animal nipped the vet tech which is inexcusable, but only after he had knocked her to the ground and was restraining her. They did not ask to examine her or get more of her history to understand her abusive past. After the incident they also did not offer additional advice, other than to not come back or to seek a behaviorist. If you have a rescue animal, I would recommend an alternate vet due to the set up of the office. We have two other animals that we have had for their entire lives and do not have anxiety at all, but I will not return with them due to our visit. The vet seemed overall condescending and not helpful with our rescue animal. Read Less

I would put 5 stars, but the horrible receptionist that works there Nancy makes every experience I have here miserable. Every time I call she acts like I'm inconveniencing her and is always extremely rushed. She is constantly rude to myself and my friends that go there. I LOVE when Jenna answers the phone as she's always sure to brighten my day and treat me with the respect and kindness that I deserve. Nancy has even hung up on me on occasion saying she doesn't have time to process my requests. Consider replacing her and I will continue to give you my business. -Gretchen Read Less

My family has been going here for almost 30 years. Dr. Wohlfeiler has always been exceptional and affordable. It is very evident he is more concerned with the health of your pet than making money. He is significantly more affordable than the other vet I visited. His staff are all very attentive, quick to help, and kind. Read Less

Dr Wohlfeiler and his team took care of both of my cats for 17 years. He's thorough, knowledgeable, kind, and humane, as is his staff. They moved to Hudson 11 years ago, but I continued to take my cats to LAC because I truly believed that they got the best care there. Today was my remaining cat's last visit at LAC. It was an extremely difficult decision, but Dr. W, Nancy, Matt, and the rest of the staff were wonderful and extremely supportive and kind. I would not hesitate to recommend LAC to anybody looking for a high-quality vet practice for their pet. Thank you for helping me take care of Smokey for all of these years. I have been very unsatisfied with my current Vet for many years and have tried others, but was dissatisfied with them as well, so I'd go back to my current. My niece takes her cat to Lyndhurst Animal Clinic and loves Dr. Wohlfeiler. I decided to give him a try and am so glad that I did. They have a large, clean waiting room, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. There were no foul odors and Dr. Wohlfeiler was so pleasant and thorough in his exam of my senior dog. He had a smile on his face the entire time and was so gentle and kind to Rocco. I told him it was nice to see that he wasn't jaded after all these years and he said that you have to do what you love in life. Their fees are average and possibly less than what I was paying at the other vet. Give them a try if you're looking for someone to take care of your animals. Read Less
