I have taken my animals to Southwest Animal Hospital for close to 15 years now. Over the years Dr. Cross and his staff have helped me care for dogs and cats with health issues ranging from severe allergies to diabetes to nerve degeneration. Dr. Cross always exhibits genuine concern for the welfare of the animal and typically discusses a range of options regarding their care. He is very thorough in investigating problems, while also respecting the needs of the pet and the wishes of the owner. The staff (most of whom have also been with Southwest for the entire time I have gone there) are very competent and professional, and it is obvious that they love animals. Over the many years I have been a client, I have twice witnessed the staff after an animal that came in with a medical emergency was unable to be saved and passed away. They were very respectful and felt deeply for both the owner and the animal. The care and affection that animals are treated with at Southwest is one of the reasons I continue to take my animals there. I would (and have! many times) recommend Southwest to anyone, without hesitation. Read Less
