Unfortunately will not be a returning patron- I had not encountered any problems with this clinic ( Dr Cathy, Dr. Sarah are great and the receptionist Kaitlyn who’s a total sweetheart) until the other day- had to schedule an appointment rather quickly for my cat and no other doctors were available except Dr Sam-brought my cat (who’s been there before)in to rule out medical issues vs behavioral- I came approximately 15 minutes before my appointment- literally 8 people (I counted, including a woman who was quite late for her appointment so she said) went before our scheduled appointment while I waited 45 minutes to be seen- finally during our wait- Dr samantha (who never introduced herself or even apologized for our wait) did her assessment while my poor feline (who was already stressed and scared from the chaos of the facility for waiting for so long) was deemed too agitated to rule out medical issues. I was given a specimen and told “bring your cat in for a further examination and grab us a specimen” Dr Sam who is a brand new vet was rude and inconsiderate, and has poor bedside manner (FYI she is also the owners daughter)- as a medical professional, I was appalled with her interaction with my feline as well as myself- I asked the receptionist why we had to wait 45 minutes she stated “there was an emergency” yet 8 people got to get in and out before I even left- I will not be returning and will ensure to not recommend this place to any fellow friends/family. Friendly, professional staff that take the time to listen to your concerns. Brought my cat in for some eye problems. He usually does not like having his eyes messed with or being handled by strangers but they took great care of him and helped the problem! Read Less

Dr. Cathy is very caring, with great bedside manner. She is excellent at explaining all tests and medical issues. Dr. Cathy does not pressure you into anything, but rather educates you and lets you make the best decision for you and your animal. Dr. Cathy is upfront about cost, which I really appreciate, too. What a great Clinic to take your fur baby!  I love that they made Valentino feel special right when we walked in the door. They put his name on the board in the room.  They fit me in on a crazy, busy Saturday morning.  They are so busy, yet they took their time with him.  He left with several treats and lots of hugs and kisses.  He was happy and I was happy!  I highly recommend Village Veterinary Clinic. I left this place with a warm, fuzzy feeling. Everyone was wonderful and really tuned into my Doberman's needs. She usually doesn't warm up to people very fast, but after 30 min she was eating treats out of Doctor Huston's hands. The nurse took time to answer my questions and the other staff were welcoming. Top notch care at Village Vet. I have been taking my dogs to Doctor Kieth Huston for several years. His love and compassion for animals is evident. He takes the time needed to explain things and offer options and never orders or suggests needless tests. He has the upmost patience. I had a highly reactive German Shepherd rescue dog and Doc Kieth took the time on each and every visit to build trust and confidence with him. With my first ever puppy he offered great tidbits and advise which is helping to raise a well rounded German Shepherd. At the end of their life which is a most difficult time for any pet owner, his compassion and caring truly shines through as he treats them with dignity and respect at that time. The front staff is phenomenal and Diane has tremendous knowledge and always has a willingness to help. The tech's are great and also extend gentleness when handling their patients. It was our first visit to the clinic. We loved that when we walked in, we were greeted and so was our dog by her name. We were seen promptly and when we got in the room, her name was written on the board, which we thought was a nice added touch. The tech was great with Zoey and personable with us. Dr. Sarah was great too! We had a couple concerns about our dog, one of them being anxiety. She was quick to pick up on that on her own, where in the past it was passed off as being a characteristic of her breed. I really appreciate the personal care the doctors gave to my recently passed pet. She was a member of our family and the vets and staff at Village Veterinary Clinic gave her exemplary treatment in her final days. They made the decision to let her go as smooth and pain free as possible and although it was incredibly hard...it was ultimately a gift to her in the end. I am a new client of the clinic, and when I called to make the appointment the person that answer was very rude, acted like she was making me a favor taking my information. I heard so many good things about this clinic but the first impression was horrible. Went back for my dog's appointment and maybe the lady that took my info was having a bad day that day, but everything was wonderful!!! all the staff is so nice and if I can give a 10 star to this place I will. My wife and I started bringing our puppy hear about 7 months ago. Everyone at this place truly cares about every animal that comes through the door. Dr. Jo Byron is excellent.  I joke that I never know which Cody will show up to an appointment because some times he is nice and other times he hisses like crazy and needs to be restrained...anyway...Dr. Jo has a calming voice and demeanor so she brought out a good version of Cody.  She is thorough and speaks in plain Enlglish, and gives multiple treatment recommendations from conservative to aggressive which I appreciated.  The clinic called a few days later to see how he was doing and they also sent a card in the mail.  What I find charming is when you walk into the exam room your animal has been assigned to they write, "Welcome (your animal's name)" on the board.  Terrific care. Last year we switched to Village Veterinary Clinic. We WERE going to the "cheapest vet" around. Well, no more! Village Veterinary Clinic is ABOVE the rest with care for our dog. They are professional, friendly and genuinely care for your animal. Yes there is an office visit charge, however, they will not over charge you when it comes to each test, medication and procedure. Our dog has a heart condition and Keith E. Huston, DVM goes above and beyond our expectations to check all related areas when she is not feeling well. We cannot express enough that if your pet is truly a part of your family, remember going cheap is not the way to go for your loved one. Read Less
