We've been taking our pets here for almost 4 years. They've been with us from the loss of our old dog to helping with a new puppy. The staff is friendly and the convenience is great. From being able to handle routine check-ups and vaccinations while your pet is being groomed and you drop them off in the morning and pick up at the end of the day, it works great. Easy to get an appointment with courteous staff. They also have boarding, daycare and grooming services. However, location is on a busy road and if you get caught in rush hour traffic it can be a hassle getting there. Not happy with Dr. Duncan. Hurt my dog twice in one visit and seemed not to care. I am very disappointed in this veterinarian clinic. I thought I would give it a try given the close proximity to my new home and the great reviews on Yelp. I brought my cat here for the first time in June. They ran typical blood work and tests in an attempt to find the problem. I have been administering oral medications, as well as changed her diet. While I informed the vet that these changes have not triggered a difference for my cat, and he expressed concern, the follow up has been horrible and each time I try to get in touch with the vet I get their voicemail. I spoke with Dr. Halliday June 29 and he informed me he would call me the next day to provide additional information regarding a specific food I most likely should be feeding my cat. It is now July 6 and I still have not heard from him. I was willing to give them a second chance, but they continue to disappoint, and I will not be returning here for care for my cat. Read Less

The front desk lady, the vet assistant and Dr. Vince Fu are all amazing... I have been trying to take my cat to different animal hospitals for my cat in my college career, but, I am sorry, they were absolutely nothing comparing to this place. It's the first time that I know a vet can be so gentle and careful to a cat when I met Dr. Vince Fu. He tried his best to calm my anxious cat down (he even did something like a massage), while in the other hospital I went to before, the nurse directly told me that my cat would be sedated if he kept being mad. Fantastic staff! This was my 2nd visit. First for vet services & this time for grooming. The staff is very pleasant, the location is extremely tidy & peaceful. Was offered a mini tour of the grooming rooms to see where my little guy would be taken care of. Received a call halfway through his groom for an update!!! Drop off at 7.30am made it super easy for me to schedule his appointment. I'm so so pleased with the excellent service! I could barely believe how little I'd been charged for a full groom! We chose this place for doggy day care based on the positive reviews and the great outdoor area. While the outdoor area exceeded expectations, we will not be returning for other reasons.I spoke to the staff on the phone before our first trip and was told that we'd need to fill out an application online to bring with us when we dropped her off and that she'd go through an assessment to make sure she got along with the other pups once she arrived (which is what I would expect). They also said she'd need proof of being current on her vaccinations and shots. When we arrived to drop her off for daycare, it seemed like the standards they had given over the phone had disappeared. At no point did they ask for proof of vaccinations or rabies shots, and they didn't even ask us for the paper application which listed health concerns, emergency information, etc. They were totally willing to whisk her away without anything from us whatsoever. I gave the application to the staff before leaving (still without being asked) but was never asked for proof of vaccinations. It was a holiday weekend and busy so I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until I received a call from them today saying that several of the dogs who were there on the same day as mine have been coughing. They said that the daycare will remain open for dogs who have not experienced a cough and that it normally takes 2 weeks for the situation to totally clear up. I understand that we assume certain risks when going to any doggy daycare but my concern is that my dog (who *is* fully vaccinated) wasn't the only one admitted without proof of vaccination. The facilities are nice but overall I feel sketchy about their process of approving / admitting pups into the daycare. Seems like if the staff is swamped certain precautions may fall through the cracks, which is not a risk I'm willing to take.* Upside is that my dog did seem to have fun while she was there, and they post lots of pics on Facebook of the outdoor playtime. I love this place. My cat, Unicorn, has a skin allergy that we have to get shots for every month and the vets and vet techs are amazing with her. They put out treats and take their time making her feel comfortable by petting her or letting her snuggle close to me for a minute while they get the meds ready. I also recently boarded her here for TWO WEEKS and was thoroughly distraught and cry-faced about leaving her for that long but they reassured me that I could call as much as I liked and could get as many updates as I needed. I called every single day and not once did I feel I was bothering them, they would go check on her whenever I called and gave me in depth reviews on how her day was going. Decided to switch vets due to my previous vet clinic being extremely sketchy and I just wasn't sure if my new puppy was getting the care she needed. I chose this vet due to the amazing reviews. When I called to make an appointment they got me in the same day and the lady that answered the phone spent a good 15 minutes going over every concern I had from the previous vet and easing my mind of everything for the switch to this clinic. Still being somewhat new to the area, I chose this place based on reviews here and was not disappointed. I have an elderly Weimaraner with back legs that are failing him, and a Yorkie. We've seen both Dr. Haliday and Dr. Fu and both were very thorough in their exams and did a great job addressing all of my concerns. It was obvious both doctors genuinely cared about my dog(s).In addition, my Weimaraner had freakishly long nails that nobody has ever been able to trim effectively. Other vets have stated that the quick of his nails was too long to trim any shorter. The nails were so long it was hindering the dog's ability to walk. Dr. Fu was able to trim them down to where they needed to be, without any pain or blood. After years of trying to find someone to do this, only to be told it can't be done, I was amazed that it was so easy for Dr. Fu. Their prices are competitive. Some things, such as medication, are remarkably cheaper than other places. Lab work was higher than I've paid elsewhere, $47 for heartworm test, $75 for liver chem, but I don't know the standard for this area. I don't think enough is said about ACCCW's doggy daycare. We take our pup once or twice a week, and he has loved it every time.  He comes home happy and tired after each visit.  It only took one visit for all of the attendants to recognize our dog by name.  The first few times, I would call every few hours to make sure he was doing ok (completely unnecessary, but I was nervous!).  They always remembered ME by name and would immediately tell me exactly how my dog (again, identifying him by name without my prompting) was doing.  They are also great about giving a detailed report at the end of the day.OTHER places downtown often do not have outdoor space at all and, in fact, a few places we tried did not have the permits to even take the dogs outside to poop/pee! Dogs are expected to spend all day indoors, pooping and peeing wherever they please.  Although I was always promised that the attendants would clean accidents up immediately, it just doesn't seem sanitary.Not so at Animal Care Center!  ACCCW has BOTH an indoor and outdoor space for the dogs.  The indoor space is divided into small and large dog.  It seems like a small space, but it's open and airy enough and the dogs are rotated into the room in small groups.  This way, there is plenty of room for the dogs to run (and they do) and they can also rest.  The backyard is huge!  ACCCW gives the dogs bathroom breaks outside, and, of course, play time out there too.And maybe best of all for an anxious pet parent, the ACCCW vets are always on hand in case of emergency.  On one visit, the attendants noticed some unusual redness in my dog's eyes, and had the vet check him out right away.  They gave us a call to let us know about the situation.  We came home that night with eye drops (that we paid for), but no vet visit fees and we never would've caught that ourselves.If I can't be with my puppy all day, it is reassuring to know that he is at ACCCW having the time of his life. We had an appointment for a health certificate for an upcoming flight, with Dr Foo and he was so kind and patient. Although I already knew my pup was healthy, I really appreciated his thoroughness with my pup and his soft and gentle demeanor with my rescue (and a tad feisty) pup. My fiance (aka The Boy) and I recently adopted a couple of cats from a shelter. We looked around for vets close to our home and settled here. Boy, are we glad that we did. We had to take one kitty in a week before their scheduled check-up because of an issue. They were able to work us in on a Saturday morning so we could get him checked out. We saw Dr. Fu and he was, well, serene. He came into the room slowly and quietly. Both he and the vet tech spent time petting our kitty and letting him acclimate to them. So when the exam started, he didn't struggle or get stressed at all!When we brought both cats in for their check-ups, we had Dr. Fu again. And, again, he was serene, calm, and quiet with both cats. One of our kitties has a mysterious medical issue going on and Dr. Fu has been nothing but helpful while trying to figure out the next steps for our care. Honestly, I can see why they have such stellar reviews. From the from desk staff to the vet techs to the doctors, everyone was so nice and sweet to the pets and us. We just moved to Ohio, the reason I chose this Vet was because of the positive reviews. I am beyond happy that I chose them. From the first phone call with Michele to the very end was pleasant. Heather was awesome, she explained everything she was doing and was very welcoming. Dr. Douglas is absolutely great! She greeted me then proceeded to get acquainted with my Helio. She also explained everything thoroughly. She didn't try to push anything, she just wanted to make sure we took care of the issue at hand. Everyone really seems to be genuinely caring.. I have been taking my Pug and French Bull dog, here since I moved to Columbus 8 mos ago. It is wonderful. The staff is caring, greet my dogs by name. It is clean and the dogs get lots of play and rest too. They have obstacle courses both inside and out (weather permitting). It is under the operation of several veterinarians so I feel at ease when I leave 'the kids" My dogs DRAG me into the door. They LOVE it here. I highly recommend the Animal Care Center At Cherry Way. I have been taking my dog to the Animal Care Center At Cherry Way for almost 13 years. My dog has been seen by all three Veterinarian's at this center, Dr. Halliday, Dr. Fu, and Dr. Douglas and I felt all three were excellent. They are very compassionate and very good with animals. They are very patient and will spend what ever amount of time is necessary with you to answer any questions you might have. In an emergency they will work your pet in. If you have your pets treated at this office and you have a question for one of the Vet's, they will personally call you back, they do just relay information through their support staff. Everyone that I came in contact with was very friendly and professional. You could tell that everyone that worked their sincerely loves animals. Dr. Halliday performed surgery on my dog for bladder stone surgery and is an excellent surgeon. I always had a lot of confidence in the abilities of all three Vet's at this Care Center. I always had my dog groomed at this location and was very happy with the way my dog was groomed and the prices were fair compared to other places. My dog recently passed away and Dr. Halliday was so compassionate during this very difficult time. The staff and Dr. Halliday signed a sympathy card with very kind comments personal comments a about how special my dog was, it meant the world to me. I plan to get another puppy in the near future and I definitely will be having her cared for at the Animal Care Center At Cherry Way. Read Less

The absolute sweetest staff and best doggie day care in the area! I'm able to drop off my little girl as early as 7:30 for daycare and pick her up by 7pm (M-F). By the time I do, she has a little report card and is completely worn out for the next 30+ hours. The price is right: $18/day with a discount if you go 3+ times in a week.The doggie daycare is the PERFECT solution for me especially when I know I'll be working late and the pups are restless. And everyone is so kind and excited about your puppy. Both our youngster and her "older brother" also go to Cherry Way for their vet services as well.
