This has been my vet for years, and I love them. They are always so excited to see my pups and I love that they do their exams on the floor and don't make the dogs get on a table. Great staff of people. My only complaint is that they don't do nail trims on dogs anymore, and as that's one of my vet routines it has thrown a wrench in my enjoyment. Still a patron, but have been thinking about shopping around. However, they are a great vet and I'd recommend them to anyone looking.

The staff at 5Th & Kenny is amazing. It is obvious that every member genuinely cares for the well being of my pet. They are very thorough and do an excellent job of explaining the issues at hand. One would think this it how it is at all clinics, but we know it's not. Having a parent that has been in the veterinarian field for 25 years, though out of state, I can say without hesitation that there will be only two people that I take my dog to, my parent or the staff at 5Th and Kenny. If you want the best for your pet, you will do the same too!

I lived in Columbus for 10 years and had my dog with me for the last 6 of them. It took me a while to find a good vet, but once I found Fifth and Kenny and Dr. Custer I knew I had found the best one in town. I have never had an experience as positive as EVERY experience here. Very honest and prices were reasonable. I even had the vet just charge me for a tech exam once when she very quickly determined that the problem was very minor and didn't need a full exam - this solidified me as a customer. While other places have made me feel taken advantage of in terms of pricing, Fifth and Kenny has always provided quotes and options and told me what they would do with their own pets.
You can tell they really care about each animal they work with, are aware of the hard decisions and financial constraints that can come along with veterinary care, and are not dismissive about owner's concerns (no matter how minor!). I recently moved out of state and I think the thing I miss the most about Ohio is Fifth and Kenny Animal Hospital. I haven't been able to find a vet's office that even comes close to as wonderful as they are.

It's been a few years since I've moved away from Columbus, but Fifth and Kenny Animal Hospital is the best vet I have ever taken my 15 year old rottweiler/german shepherd mix to. My dog Meika has severe allergy issues and it was Dr. Custer who finally got them under control for us. Everyone at this vet truly cares about your furry child and treats them as if they were their own. I cannot say enough good things about Fifth and Kenny, and I know I will never find another vet like them. I was recently in Columbus for my wedding and needed someone to care for my dog as she can no longer be kenneled. The fact that they not only remembered my pup from a few years ago, but also helped me make arrangements for her stay speaks to their dedication. Go to them, you won't regret it!

The entire staff is great. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The vet is so affectionate with my cats that they purr the entire time. He's very knowledgeable and you can tell he has a true love for animals. I'm so glad I ended using Fifth & Kenny and I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Jack and the staff at Fifth & Kenny Animal Hospital are absolutely THE BEST! They are friendly, caring, helpful, understanding, and compassionate. And you can just tell they all genuinely love animals and caring for them. I've had many visits to the office and every experience has been excellent -- for everything from routine vaccines and checkups to picking up medication to surgery and sick care to the sudden death of my Yorkie. I wouldn't even think of going to another vet. I would highly recommend Fifth & Kenny Animal Hospital, and I have referred everyone who has asked me about a vet to them.

Dr. Jack is great. He clearly loves animals. I have been to vets who I sometimes wonder if they like my pets at all. My cat LOVES Dr. Jack. He hugs my pets, talks to them, and shows them love. He is also very knowledgable and has diagnosed all the issues I have had with my cats and dogs with precision. I love going here--but more importantly, so do my pets! It's not a low-cost vet, but they are comparable to other vets and are by no means over-the-top expensive. I never feel bad paying here as Dr. Jack's care is worth every penny. HIGHLY recommend!!

I absolutely love this vet. The first time I went the doctor was snuggling my cats and kept commenting on how cute they were and really seemed to just love them as much as I do. When I called in with a question the doctor called me back and didn't try to rush off the phone and remembered everything about my cats after their proceedure. He is so sweet and really loves his animals. The girls at the front desk are also very sweet and loving to the animals as well. This is hands down the best vet I've ever been too. The staff is wonderful, the prices are reasonable and they don't make you pay an exam fee every time you bring your pet in.

They were friendly, clearly love animals, and were sensitive to the feelings of both the patient and his/her ""parents"". The only drawback is that the office is very small and hard to get to, and the receptionists seem clueless on the phone. Otherwise, this is a great place to take your fuzzy friends! (ALSO, they take appointments on Saturdays!!!)

My husky typically pulls me in the opposite direction when going to the vet but she actually went right up to Dr. Custer and gave him kisses right off the bat and she has NEVER done that! He was great with her and you could tell he really loves what he does. My unruly kitten also calmed down and behaved for Dr. Custer which is a miracle in itself. My animals absolutely adored the vet and that is enough for me. On top of that, you cannot beat his prices. I never have to pay another office visit EVER (only pay the first time) and the service and medicine prices are comparable (if not slightly less) to everywhere else. I cannot imagine changing vets now that I have found this place. Finally a veterinary office that's primary care is about pets and not making money. Thank you 5th and Kenny Animal Hospital for getting it right!

I have been taking my dog and two cats here for two years. They know me by name, along with my pets! They are always so helpful. They give great advice and are willing to go out of their way to find products you need. My one cat has sever food allergies and they search the city for me to find not only food, but treats he could eat as well! It's a small office with walk-in hours Monday-Friday. You can also make an appointment. Perfect for me and my pets! Oh, and you only have to pay for the office visit once!!! After that you only pay for medicine, shots, etc. If you just want your pet check out, they'll do it with out charging you and office visit.

This has been my vet for years, and I love them. They are always so excited to see my pups and I love that they do their exams on the floor and don't make the dogs get on a table. Great staff of people. My only complaint is that they don't do nail trims on dogs anymore, and as that's one of my vet routines it has thrown a wrench in my enjoyment. Still a patron, but have been thinking about shopping around. However, they are a great vet and I'd recommend them to anyone looking.

One would think this it how it is at all clinics, but we know it's not. Having a parent that has been in the veterinarian field for 25 years, though out of state, I can say without hesitation that there will be only two people that I take my dog to, my parent or the staff at 5Th and Kenny. I lived in Columbus for 10 years and had my dog with me for the last 6 of them. It took me a while to find a good vet, but once I found Fifth and Kenny and Dr. Custer I knew I had found the best one in town. I have never had an experience as positive as EVERY experience here. Very honest and prices were reasonable. I even had the vet just charge me for a tech exam once when she very quickly determined that the problem was very minor and didn't need a full exam - this solidified me as a customer. While other places have made me feel taken advantage of in terms of pricing, Fifth and Kenny has always provided quotes and options and told me what they would do with their own pets.
You can tell they really care about each animal they work with, are aware of the hard decisions and financial constraints that can come along with veterinary care, and are not dismissive about owner's concerns (no matter how minor!). I recently moved out of state and I think the thing I miss the most about Ohio is Fifth and Kenny Animal Hospital. I haven't been able to find a vet's office that even comes close to as wonderful as they are.

It's been a few years since I've moved away from Columbus, but Fifth and Kenny Animal Hospital is the best vet I have ever taken my 15 year old rottweiler/german shepherd mix to. My dog Meika has severe allergy issues and it was Dr. Custer who finally got them under control for us. Everyone at this vet truly cares about your furry child and treats them as if they were their own. I cannot say enough good things about Fifth and Kenny, and I know I will never find another vet like them. I was recently in Columbus for my wedding and needed someone to care for my dog as she can no longer be kenneled. The fact that they not only remembered my pup from a few years ago, but also helped me make arrangements for her stay speaks to their dedication. Go to them, you won't regret it!

The entire staff is great. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The vet is so affectionate with my cats that they purr the entire time. He's very knowledgeable and you can tell he has a true love for animals. I'm so glad I ended using Fifth & Kenny and I would recommend them to anyone.

And you can just tell they all genuinely love animals and caring for them. I've had many visits to the office and every experience has been excellent -- for everything from routine vaccines and checkups to picking up medication to surgery and sick care to the sudden death of my Yorkie. I wouldn't even think of going to another vet. I would highly recommend Fifth & Kenny Animal Hospital, and I have referred everyone who has asked me about a vet to them.

Dr. Jack is great. He clearly loves animals. I have been to vets who I sometimes wonder if they like my pets at all. My cat LOVES Dr. Jack. He hugs my pets, talks to them, and shows them love. He is also very knowledgable and has diagnosed all the issues I have had with my cats and dogs with precision. I love going here--but more importantly, so do my pets! It's not a low-cost vet, but they are comparable to other vets and are by no means over-the-top expensive. I never feel bad paying here as Dr. Jack's care is worth every penny. HIGHLY recommend!!

I absolutely love this vet. The first time I went the doctor was snuggling my cats and kept commenting on how cute they were and really seemed to just love them as much as I do. When I called in with a question the doctor called me back and didn't try to rush off the phone and remembered everything about my cats after their proceedure. He is so sweet and really loves his animals. The girls at the front desk are also very sweet and loving to the animals as well. This is hands down the best vet I've ever been too. The staff is wonderful, the prices are reasonable and they don't make you pay an exam fee every time you bring your pet in.

They were friendly, clearly love animals, and were sensitive to the feelings of both the patient and his/her ""parents"". The only drawback is that the office is very small and hard to get to, and the receptionists seem clueless on the phone. Otherwise, this is a great place to take your fuzzy friends! (ALSO, they take appointments on Saturdays!!!)

My husky typically pulls me in the opposite direction when going to the vet but she actually went right up to Dr. Custer and gave him kisses right off the bat and she has NEVER done that! He was great with her and you could tell he really loves what he does. My unruly kitten also calmed down and behaved for Dr. Custer which is a miracle in itself. My animals absolutely adored the vet and that is enough for me. On top of that, you cannot beat his prices. I never have to pay another office visit EVER (only pay the first time) and the service and medicine prices are comparable (if not slightly less) to everywhere else. I cannot imagine changing vets now that I have found this place. Finally a veterinary office that's primary care is about pets and not making money. Thank you 5th and Kenny Animal Hospital for getting it right!

I have been taking my dog and two cats here for two years. They know me by name, along with my pets! They are always so helpful. They give great advice and are willing to go out of their way to find products you need. My one cat has sever food allergies and they search the city for me to find not only food, but treats he could eat as well! It's a small office with walk-in hours Monday-Friday. You can also make an appointment. Perfect for me and my pets! Oh, and you only have to pay for the office visit once!!! After that you only pay for medicine, shots, etc. If you just want your pet check out, they'll do it with out charging you and office visit.
