TLDR: Missed an easy diagnosis by not doing a proper physical exam.
This clinic is too focused on behavior and not enough medicine. We brought our dog in for uncharacteristic aggression with the suspicion that he was in pain from an injury. The Dr. would not get near him until we put a second muzzle on him. he already had one, but it wasn't Hannibal Lectory enough. She rubbed him down for less than 60 seconds and determined that he either had rabies or regressed into a previous bad behavior.
We were told to quarantine him for the possible rabies diagnosis (he has been vaccinated previously, but Health & Harmony twice previously would not administer the booster due to a rash).
We were also referred to a very expensive behavioral evaluation.
A few days later his condition progressed and it was clear he was in pain. We took him to an emergency clinic where he was diagnosed with a ruptured CCL causing him to be in severe pain, which is likely why he was being aggressive.
With this new diagnosis in hand we contacted Health & Harmony for further guidance at which time we were told that taking him to the emergency vet was ILLEGAL due to their imposed quarantine for their very sketchy, very wrong rabies diagnosis.

I've been a cat owner the majority of my life, but I have never owned a dog. Much less a brand new puppy with lots of energy. When we got our puppy Maverick, we googled vets in the area. We decided to go with Health & Harmony for two reasons: one, because the reviews were phenomenal and consistent. Two, because it was three blocks from our home. My fiance' and I went in completely ignorant and desperate for some knowledge so we could do right by this puppy. Maverick wasn't necessarily planned, but we couldn't deny the sad, emaciated little guy in the middle of a snow storm. I went into this meeting fully prepared to be chastised for not knowing what I was doing, but instead I was met with extreme compassion and patience. Every single staff member we have ever encountered truly has a passion for animals and the knowledge to follow it. Everyone is always kind, remembers our names, and have bonded with our no longer so little guy. Dr. West gave us information and recommendations that truly saved us from doing our dog a disservice. Every question I had was answered and every time we return they always ensure to follow up with any prior issues. There's a difference between having someone just do their job and having someone who is passionate about doing their job. I could go on and on about these wonderful people, but I think my point has been made. Thanks for being awesome!

Our dear cat, Max Kitty, recently was put to sleep through their help. We came to them three years ago with a very sick kitty. He was never healed but they did everything they could to help him be comfortable. We thought it was time to let him go because we could no longer keep him comfortable.
I had never put a pet down before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Everything was done so peacefully. They even brought him treats like chicken and cheese. It definitely was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.
Thank you for helping us along his tough journey. You were wonderful.

This is a clean and beautiful Vet Clinic. The Vets are very up to date knowledgeable, and really care about my Dog. My Scottish Terrier has many health issues, and Dr. Ellen addressed them all. You can tell she really loves animals, and she cares about her patients as if they are her own. I couldn't ask for or receive a better Vet.

I adopted one of their foster kittens and they were so excited to see him again at his one year checkup. They are obviously just as obsessed with animals and animal well-being as one would expect from a vet clinic. They were able to refer me to an emergency vet when I had a close call with some ibuprofen (turns out my little monster didn't ingest any after all, thank god). Everyone I've come into contact with here is excellent with client interaction, which is unfortunately often an underrated skill in this field. All in all, I would highly recommend everyone become a client of theirs for top quality care at very very reasonable cost (vet bills are never cheap, but H&H never overcharge or unnecessarily upsell you).

Health & Harmony is amazing! I take two of my dogs here, one of which has some very special medical needs. I had the best experience with Dr. Bowden and McKrai this week with my special pup, Stu. Dr. Bowden and McKrai listened to all my concerns and made me and Stu feel very special and well-cared for. When we picked up Stu's regular medication, we received very detailed instructions and got a follow-up call the next day. When I started going to H&H I lived and worked much closer, but the drive now is SO worth it.

Health and Harmony is excellent! I just returned from a routine visit with my older dog, and was once again very impressed with their ability to make vet visits as low stress as possible while still giving excellent quality of care. Excellent place, I highly recommend them to my dog training clients and anyone else that wants great vet care. Love them!

I've been to Health & Harmony with two dogs, and it's always been such a positive experience. Just got back from my first appointment with my new puppy, and it couldn't have gone better! Mandy and Dr. Bowden were great with her and offered really helpful advice. They also took excellent care of my dog who passed away earlier this year - H&H even sent me a really kind note after they heard about his passing. Thanks, Dr. Bowden and Health & Harmony!

Best veterinarian I have ever been too! I recommend them if you're needing a new vet or looking for a better one! They have taken such great care of my pup and continue to help whenever something happens. They have such a caring staff that actually care about the pets that are seen. I know my dog is in great hands as they care for him today. They have been wonderful since the first time I brought my dog in for his puppy shots till now with our first scare. They have been able to get me in the same day both times this week when we needed them because they truly do care about my dogs health. They always call after appointments to make sure everything is going okay after the visit. They make the dogs feel comfortable while they're getting their exam and that's why my pup loves going office :)

Dr West and Dr Bolden are the most kind and caring veterinarians I've met. When examine my dog, they sit on the floor with him which helps him stay calm. At other vet offices, they lift your dog onto an exam table which can lead to anxiety for your pet. The other thing they do that helps my dog Teddy stay calm is let him lick peanut butter off of a tongue depressor which my dog Teddy loves!!
The staff at Health and Harmony are also very attentive and responsive. Every time we have an appointment, the staff calls me the following day to ask how my dog is doing.
A friend of mine takes her dog to Dr West for acupuncture to help lessen his pain from arthritis. She is very happy with the results from this treatment.
I highly recommend Health and Harmony Animal Hospital!

I had the pleasure to be introduced to this vet hospital today during a very sad time for our family. Let's first say we have a Vet that I still believe is a good vet hospital. However there is a significant difference between good and GREAT! Mandy Bible and Evelyn Bowden are 2 women who live to love animals; and for that we are so grateful. They both welcomed us today as if we had known their hospital forever. They both cried with me and expressed LOVE for my animal, me and my family. That is truly priceless and has warmed my heart during this time of sadness. What a blessing to offer my buddy as an angel to God today and have him give us 2 angels on earth. My mastiff Henry and I had the most amazing experience! The entire staff was willing to work with Henry (he can be a pretty special guy) to make sure we had a good visit. TLDR: Missed an easy diagnosis by not doing a proper physical exam.
This clinic is too focused on behavior and not enough medicine. We brought our dog in for uncharacteristic aggression with the suspicion that he was in pain from an injury. The Dr. would not get near him until we put a second muzzle on him. he already had one, but it wasn't Hannibal Lectory enough. I've been a cat owner the majority of my life, but I have never owned a dog. Much less a brand new puppy with lots of energy. When we got our puppy Maverick, we googled vets in the area. We decided to go with Health & Harmony for two reasons: one, because the reviews were phenomenal and consistent. Two, because it was three blocks from our home. Our dear cat, Max Kitty, recently was put to sleep through their help. We came to them three years ago with a very sick kitty. He was never healed but they did everything they could to help him be comfortable. We thought it was time to let him go because we could no longer keep him comfortable.
I had never put a pet down before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Everything was done so peacefully. They even brought him treats like chicken and cheese. It definitely was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.

They are obviously just as obsessed with animals and animal well-being as one would expect from a vet clinic. Health and Harmony is excellent! I just returned from a routine visit with my older dog, and was once again very impressed with their ability to make vet visits as low stress as possible while still giving excellent quality of care. They make the dogs feel comfortable while they're getting their exam and that's why my pup loves going office :)

We LOVE this place. My pitties absolutely love Dr. Bowden. She probably saved my dog's life last night by seeing us last minute at 7pm last night!

Dr West and Dr Bolden are the most kind and caring veterinarians I've met. When examine my dog, they sit on the floor with him which helps him stay calm. At other vet offices, they lift your dog onto an exam table which can lead to anxiety for your pet. The other thing they do that helps my dog Teddy stay calm is let him lick peanut butter off of a tongue depressor which my dog Teddy loves!!
The staff at Health and Harmony are also very attentive and responsive. Every time we have an appointment, the staff calls me the following day to ask how my dog is doing.
A friend of mine takes her dog to Dr West for acupuncture to help lessen his pain from arthritis. She is very happy with the results from this treatment.
I highly recommend Health and Harmony Animal Hospital!

Our German Shepard puppy just went in for a neuter which ended up being pretty extensive. Needless to say he has some healing to do. I couldn't ask for a better team to take care of him. They took care of him like he was their own puppy. They have provided love, care, and expertise. Thank you Health and Harmony for always looking after our babies!

I had the pleasure to be introduced to this vet hospital today during a very sad time for our family. Let's first say we have a Vet that I still believe is a good vet hospital. However there is a significant difference between good and GREAT! Mandy Bible and Evelyn Bowden are 2 women who live to love animals; and for that we are so grateful. They both welcomed us today as if we had known their hospital forever. They both cried with me and expressed LOVE for my animal, me and my family. That is truly priceless and has warmed my heart during this time of sadness. What a blessing to offer my buddy as an angel to God today and have him give us 2 angels on earth. My heart is so grateful To both of you! You are cherished by my family and for that we would not have our animals cared by anyone else! Thank you

My mastiff Henry and I had the most amazing experience! The entire staff was willing to work with Henry (he can be a pretty special guy) to make sure we had a good visit. He left so relaxed and happy....
My mastiff Henry and I had the most amazing experience! The entire staff was willing to work with Henry (he can be a pretty special guy) to make sure we had a good visit. He left so relaxed and happy. On top of this, the care and medical advice we have gotten has been second to none. I am so happy that we decided to visit Health & Harmony and I am looking forward to his future care.
