Please review Better Business Bureau claim regarding the claim of added prescription fee and boarding charges- this is useless slander and the BBB claim shows the other side of the story and the ending result was in the Veterinarians favor. Some people are just greedy and childish so they use slander against a business that does not give them everything for free. The veterinarians at this clinic are phenomenal and work hard to ensure each pet is well cared for. Dr Diehl is horrible. Doesn't even meet with patients . Let my cats leg atrophy in a cast and it was so weak dislocated . Horrible horrible horrible ! Worst experience ever I cried endlessly for the suffering they put my catcthrohgh and they had no compassion for the thousands of dollars they drained me of fixing the problems they created . The doctors and staff are outstanding. Dr. C is the most caring and thoughtful veterinarian that I have ever met. She is very intelligent and takes the time to listen to pet owners and find the best possible treatment. She genuinely cares for each patient that walks in the door. Dr. Diehl is also very caring and intelligent, he is great about getting patients in on short notice and response time for bloodwork is very quick. I have been taking pets to Dr. Barry Diehl since 1979 when his office was on 48 which is now the overpass for I-675. He is a great Vet. He has performed numerous operations on our dogs over the years. His staff is next to none ! You get what you pay for and Alex Bell Vet Clinic is the areas best. Read Less

I have read numerous reviews that are very negative. However, my experience has been nothing but great and professional. My in laws recommended Alex Bell Veterinary clinic when they took there older dog for a teeth cleaning and had a good experience.  Dr. Diehl treated my 6 month old puppy who was sick. He was vomiting and having very bad nausea. After seeing 2 different vets without any help, Dr. Diehl was able to determine what the problem was without expensive X-rays, which both other vets advised. After a few days of a bland diet and a night stay at the vet our pup is better. I felt that the doctor really took his time with me and my dog to really determine the problem. I feel that he was very practical and reasonable in considering the care of my dog. I have only received the best care at this office and will continue to bring both my pets here! Read Less

I worked here, and while I could list the number of reasons to not take your pet to this clinic.. I won't. I would suggest, however, that if you decide to take your pet to this clinic to take them to see Dr. Ciaramitaro. She is not only a wonderful doctor, but a loving and caring individual. She is wonderful with the animals, and actually has the interest of the pet/owner in mind when deciding on a course of treatment for the patient, not just charging for everything possible. Every time we board dogs there are added expenses over an above the kennel charge. Plan to pay full examination fees (41.75) and Nail Clipping (11.50). We were charged the exam fee due to the need for bordetella vaccine, though both dogs had been seen 2 months prior. No warnings given about declining bordetella and receiving a second exam fee though we said we planned to board them soon. Also A-B vet clinic does a poor job of record keeping for what your pet has been examined (e.g. heartworm) for so plan to get a full workup when you board because 'they have no record of ....".
