I could not feel more happy & satisfied. Awesome front desk assistants, excellent technicians, excellent veterinarians. And I do need to give special thanks to Dr. Gossett, she's an amazing surgeon and more than that she really does cares about having owners to feel informed about whatever they are doing with the dog as a daily basis while the dog is been treated. Alpha Vet has been around forever! Our 2 dogs LOVE going here. The staff and Dr are always loving with the animals and always willing to help with any qiestions you might have. We have also used their kennel service and it was great. Would highly recommend them! Read Less

I love the doctors at Alpha Vet. Dr. L and Doctor Gossett have seen both our dog and cat and have always been patient, go out of their way to explain things, and have fit my dog in even during the most busy days. Our dog also gets his grooming here and Michael always does an excellent job with him! I highly recommend both their grooming and vet services. Read Less

Dr. Langendorfer was by far the best vet we have ever found. She took care of our fur baby in her senior years and when we had to say goodbye to our baby girl her compassion was apparent. I recommend anyone who wants a vet that treats your baby like her own she is the one. Read Less

Yesterday we made the trip from TN to Ohio and we needed to board our dog. We are moving here due to a job change and it has been very emotional. On the way we realized we would arrive past closing, especially with the time change. We were staying in a hotel so we wouldn't be able to bring our dog with us to the hotel. I called Alpha vet and spoke to both Karen and Tracey and they were unbelievably accommodating and sweet. Karen said she would stay after closing and wait for us. Steer clear of this clinic! The vets are acceptable, but the front desk staff are horrendous, rude, uncaring and unaccommodating, to say the least! I can only conclude that there is absolutely ZERO communication between them and the Drs. On Saturday 5/21/16, I called for an emergency appt. for our 14 year old cat who had been going to Alpha for 6+ years (as well as our 2 dogs). I was told by Brittany that there were no appts. available, despite the dire condition of our dear Catie, and was instructed to go to an emergency clinic!!! Instead, I called our former veterinary, Docton Animal Clinic. They took us in and saw Catie immediately. We lost Catie that day from Congestive Heart Failure. Alpha was informed of what happened and we have yet to hear from any of the vets offering their condolences or a feeble excuse as to why no one was willing to see their patient. Shame on them!!! I am still appalled at their behavior. This was not our first experience with their incompetence. I've had enough. I went there on Monday, gave them an earful, demanded my dogs' records and walked out. If you love your pets, find another vet.....don't go to Alpha! Read Less

Michael does a great job grooming my dog, Tyler, who has glaucoma. Michael is always patient with Tyler and gets his eyes clean, which is very important to me. Tyler's eyes get quite messy due to his eye drops (3 times a day) and general tearing. I really appreciate the effort Michael puts into getting Tyler looking good each time we visit. Read Less

Dr. Janet Langenderfer has been my veterinarian for over 25 years, and I can't imagine a vet who is more caring and conscientious. My experience with Dr. Holly Gossett is recent but very positive: I was very impressed with the surgeries she has performed on my dogs. Every time I have needed an emergency appointment, I have been able to see a vet by the next day at the latest. The office and technical staff members are always helpful and friendly to me and my dogs alike. I took my cat to emergency vet last night & called alpha as instructed this morning. They wouldn't give me radiology results over the phone they indicated they could fax them to me. My fiancé had to drive there to get the results and the vet said I could take her back to emergency for follow up as they were only open a half day. They seemed very bothered that I was calling them this morning as instructed to contact my regular vet for results and follow up. They simply put the results in my cats file and did absolutely nothing. I will be finding another veterinarian. I would not recommend this vet to others if you are looking for compassion and overall helpfulness you will not find it here. Read Less

I love the actual veterinarians; however, the front desk reception lady (older with blonde hair) is awful! She is never pleasant and acts like you're bothering her. This is the same wither you're calling for an appointment, standing in front of her checking in or trying to pay while checking out. Another issue: if you have an acute problem such as skin allergies that flare up over night; they never have an appointment available within a 24 hour period. You usually have to wait up to 4 days. Which is completely unacceptable! After having to take our dogs to another vet for acute issues (ear infections, skin flare ups, etc.) we've decided enough is enough! We've taken our three dogs to this establishment and have spent a minimum of $4k in the last two years. Unfortunately, due to lack of appointment availability and a rude front desk staff we will not be returning. Nor will I ever recommended this vet to anyone ever again. Read Less
