We will never go anywhere else for our fur babies. We've seen Dr. Beck since we began going in 2009. She is phenomenal. Very patient, kind, and understanding. We have since worked with various other techs, Dr's, kennel staff, and front desk staff, all of which have been great. I've read unhappy reviews about cost, but I just say, we've been through major surgeries and out of state trips... never once did I question the safety and well-being of our dogs. Staff seems nice, if not super busy all the time. Recently when my wife expected a call from the vet (account is in her name) I received a call for Mr (wife's last name) from the vet. It was odd because she hadn't been called before that. It felt like another one of those scenarios where people want to talk straight to the husband (I've run into this at oil change places), so it was a off putting. Still, the care they provide is very good, and they don't try to upsell you as hard as the other vets in the area. Update: Had to put my dog down recently due to old age, mobility, energy, and cognition fading. The staff was so kind and helpful, and the vet answered all my questions, and made me feel like we were making the right decision. The procedure was done with compassion for my dog and for us. When I am ready to get another pet, I will come back here for treatment. Read Less

Front end staff is rude and unwelcoming and the lady vet we saw was the most negative, doomsday predicting person I've ever met. She told us our dog's cancer would come back and it was just a matter of when, not if. We are now 5 years post-cancer and she's doing great. The prices are outrageous and nearly twice what we are paying now; every time we went it was over $100. My bigger dog was left there when we had him neutered and since that day, he is petrified of vet visits. I don't know what happened, but we won't be going back. Read Less

We had to take my cat little one to get looked at and they were very helpful and caring. Unfortunately we had to put him to sleep and they helped us make the decision. We also received a card saying how sorry they were about him. The doctor and nurses was very nice and I would go back. Read Less

My dog Wickie and I moved to the area in April 2016. Came in as an emergency with Wickie having seizures. The team was so helpful, listened to concerns and answered all my questions calmly and completely. They were with us until the end when we had to let her go and end her suffering. I've visited several times since last year, but wanted to share my first experience with KAH: I was in town for the holidays last year, and needed an urgent chest X-ray for my dog to rule out pneumonia. He was diagnosed earlier that year with myasthenia gravis and megaeasophagus, and was prone to aspiration. He'd had pneumonia twice that year already, so this was a big deal to me. We started off at another vet clinic, whose customer service and practices were appalling, so we ended up here at Kettering Animal Hospital. What a difference it made to give this clinic a try! They have walk-in appointments in the morning, so my dog was able to receive last-minute care, the day before Thanksgiving no less! The vet tech and vet (Thomas and Dr. Spinks) both understood that my dog needed slow introductions with strangers, and they had him performing his tricks for treats and giving kisses in no time. My dog received the urgent care he needed, and more importantly, they treated him like their own pet and made him feel welcome, relaxed, and loved. we are very happy with the experience we have had at Kettering Animal Hospital. We recently moved here from Maryland where we had a wonderful relationship with our vet. On our first visit with an adoption from Sicsa we met with Dr. Beltz. he was very kind and answered all of our questions. We even had a minor emergency they took care of as well. Due to our adoption from Sicsa we had to get our 6 year old cat neutered and they took great care with him as well. Kettering Animal Hospital will be our go to for all 3 of our fur babies needs. She takes the time to go through every possible charge before performing any tests/ procedures, and she patiently answers every one of my questions (and I usually have a lot). Amazing Vet! We went there for a walk-in becuase my dog was sick.They were very professional and caring. The receptionist placed me in a room for paperwork because my dog wouldnt relax.
