General Info
Fox Vet Hospital was founded by Dr. Charles W. Fox in 1951. We currently have 3 doctors Dr. Samuel Speck III , Dr. Joe Urig, Dr. Lisa Fox Wright (Dr. W. Fox's Daughter). We are a primary care clinic and we have radiograph (dental and general), ultrasound, hospitalization, and in-house lab capabilities. We are not a 24 hour practice however we do provide on-call access to our doctors for questions and general health issues. We are open 6 days a week, M-F (9-7) and Sat (8:30-12) Please call for an appointment as we are an appointment based clinic. We also have limited general care for avian, rodent, and small mammals. We provide boarding services for clients only. We have an on-site crematorium to provide cremation services to our clients. We also provide paw prints that are hand made as part of our euthanasia plus cremation services. Dr. Lisa provides acupuncture, holistic and herbal medicine, and food therapy consultation as well.

-in appointment. Our 10- year-old golden had gone through vomiting and diarrhea over the weekend. Our stool sample was sent to the lab when we signed in. Dr. Speck examined her and recommended a boiled chicken and rice diet. He gave us an antibiotic and anti- spasm anti-diarrhea meds to bring the diarrhea to a halt. We are finishing the antibiotic to finish any bacteria invaders. Our dear dog is back!!

These guys were simply the BEST with me && my family having to deal with putting our family dog 🐶 down. I was literally “a mess”, and they were so compassionate && understanding with giving us our “last moments” with her!! Dr. Wolf is the BEST....&& I want to Thank You from the bottom of my heart for everything that you did for us!! I gave you a 5-star, but really I wish I could have gave you && your staff a “10”. After 20 plus years of taking my pets there and recommending family and friends, I have changed veterinarians. My dog was having a problem with his skin. They wanted me to wait 3 weeks. I call another veterinarian and the got me in the next day. Also, I called to get my daughter's cat in on an emergency basis. I was willing to pay the same day fee, except they refused to see him. The receptionist said they were closing in an hour. I should have tried to schedule the emergency better (yes, I'm being sarcastic). Sadly, her cat had to be put down. I'm not saying they could have done anything, but they didn't even try. That was the last straw from a very long list of reasons I left.

Highly recommend this vet. We have seen 2 of the doctors so far and loved them both. They do a great job of keeping our puppy calm and still providing him with great care. We look forward to years of working with Fox Vet. They even saw us right before closing hours for an ear infection when we were going out of town and didn't even charge us for the office visit.

I have for dogs, they are little and when one or more gets sick it can get costly. And some vets in the past gave us meds that did not help, prolonging there problems and costing more.

With Fox Veterinary, I feel am getting better and more accurate care.

My dog had a seizure today. I am very upset with the quality or lack there of care I received when I called Fox Veterinary. I was told in order to bring my dog in I would have to pay an emergency fee of $250.00. I could understand this if I called after hours, this was 3:30 in the afternoon.
This made me feel they care more about making money then taking care of my animal.

After 20 plus years of taking my pets there and recommending family and friends, I have changed veterinarians. My dog was having a problem with his skin. They wanted me to wait 3 weeks. I call another veterinarian and the got me in the next day. Also, I called to get my daughter's cat in on an emergency basis. I was willing to pay the same day fee, except they refused to see him. The receptionist said they were closing in an hour. I should have tried to schedule the emergency better (yes, I'm being sarcastic). Sadly, her cat had to be put down. I'm not saying they could have done anything, but they didn't even try. That was the last straw from a very long list of reasons I left.

Highly recommend this vet. We have seen 2 of the doctors so far and loved them both. They do a great job of keeping our puppy calm and still providing him with great care. We look forward to years of working with Fox Vet. They even saw us right before closing hours for an ear infection when we were going out of town and didn't even charge us for the office visit.

My dog had a seizure today. I am very upset with the quality or lack there of care I received when I called Fox Veterinary. I was told in order to bring my dog in I would have to pay an emergency fee of $250.00. I could understand this if I called after hours, this was 3:30 in the afternoon.
This made me feel they care more about making money then taking care of my animal.
