We were looking for a new veterinarian for our two Sheltie kids and decided to check into Mt Pleasant Animal Hospital, it's convenient for us, and a Google search showed a majority of extremely positive reviews. Our crazy, 20 month old, Raven Sparkles II, got something stuck into her eye, Dr Hall thought it was some kind of splinter. He told us that he would try to remove it under sedation the next day. He said it might be stuck to much into her eye and at that point he wouldn't feel comfortable continuing, and would recommend an ophthalmologist. We dropped her off the next morning. Dr Hall called later to tell us she was ready to be picked up and told us he wasn't able to safely remove her splinter. When we picked her up, they told us, No Charge!!!! Took my dog to get vaccines and an overall check up. I don’t have much background on my dog since he was left on someone I knew doorstep, and I took the dog in. He is a Beagle, adorable and a wonderful pet. The older blonde receptionist was extremely callus about that fact and asked me several times in amazement the background of my dog. I honestly almost walked out, but I’m happy I didn’t. The callousness of one person working the customer service area, the vet tech and doctor made up for. My dog was extremely scared and the vet tech and doctor were very loving to my dog and never made me feel odd for having a pet I had little background on. My cats go to Red Bank Veterinary I may switch. Since I have background info on my two cats maybe she won’t be surprised and bewildered. Read Less

came home to find our 11 year old chihuahua with a prolapsed uterus.... Our vet was closed Fortunately Mt Pleasant Animal Hospital said to bring her in and they would work with us on the payment.... Just had to have my cat put to sleep and the folks at this hospital couldn't have been better. My cat was really ill, we didn't have to wait and were seen immediately. The doc was great and my cat did not suffer at all. They made a very sad time much easier.Thanks everyone. Read Less

Excellent care....progressive approach....friendly and welcoming team. We had been taking our dog to another practice and for years they were unable to diagnose an ongoing allergy/rash/unknown reason to develop skin irritations. I have been taking both of my dogs to see Dr. Hall for nearly 7 years. I consistently get great and compassionate treatment from Dr. Hall and his staff. There is a lot of continuity at Mt. Pleasant - the doctors and staff get to know the patients and their owners very well, and you can see how much they care about the pets that come in. I have also seen the other doctors on occasion and they are top notch as well. I recommend Mt. Pleasant to anyone I know looking for compassionate, reasonable care for their pets. And I think there are roughly 20-30 veterinary offices / animal hospitals that are closer to me geographically, but I would not go anywhere else. Read Less

Finally a doctor (Dr.Sawdai) that takes the time to explain everything and truly cares! My baby Miss Daisy (min pin)  is now 11 yrs old and has a heart condition, Dr Sawdaii has helped her so much. Daisy doesn't like strangers but she is comfortable with him and the staff are pretty great too! Highly recommend! Read Less

We moved to Fairfield last year and needed a new vet. We treat our animals like children so this is always a scary decision. The staff and the vets here are so nice And friendly. We have a elderly dog and he is on borrowed time right now. The have took the time to really explain everything to us. Tonight we thought we were going to lose our little guy so we rushed him there with no appointment. They took us straight back with no problems. We know our guy does not have much time left but we were able to bring him home with some recommendations. We were there maybe 20 minutes. The Dr did not charge is anything for the visit. Me and my husband were a bit shocked. We have lived closer to Cincinnati and no vet that we have ever been to has not charged us. We were both teary eyed when we left. Read Less

This is the vet we will have for the rest of OUR lives.  Of all the vets I have experienced in this country, THIS practice is the most caring of ALL.  My dogs had their 'check-ups' and shots there.  Shortly after, my Greyhound tore her abdomen on another Greyhound's teeth- playful incident but painful nonetheless.  Dr. Sawdai was VERY compassionate with both the dog AND the owner!  And most of all- they were extremely FAIR in price!  Bring your dog, cat, goldfish- whatever.  Even if you don't have pets- just go say hello to Dr. Sawdai.  Tell him Josh sent you!
