Primary Pet Care

I brought Duke my 5 yr old dog in today after going to an emergency vet hospital where nothing was diagnosed and or any help for Duke was offered. Here He was quickly diagnosed with a blot clot in his back right leg. The vet I saw was very honest and upfront and explained that the situation was rather serious. He recommended that Our best option was to lay Duke to rest. The staff was amazing and friendly and I’m so grateful that they were able to help him get comfortable. I will forever be in debt to to the drs and staff that aided in this extremely difficult time they are patient and allowed me as much time as I needed with duke before he was put to sleep. After they assisted with covering him in his favorite blanket and helping to get him in my vehicle so I could take him home and lay him to rest. BEWARE: this is the most unprofessional office I have ever taken my puppy to. First off, Dr. Hong did NO initial fecal sample, which any reputable vet should do (due to puppies commonly having parasites from their litter mates and mothers). Second, during our next visit the one technician threatened to bite my puppy and she was not kidding. Keep in mind, puppies usually bite during the first initial months because they are teething. Also, my puppy is under 10 lbs, and the most loving and playful so there was no reason to threaten him. Lastly, when requesting information and questioning why a fecal sample was never done Dr. Hong had no reason other than, "he looked and appeared normal." Any professional or Dr. would validate you cannot know what is going on internally with a young puppy simply by looking at it externally. Due to them not doing this in the beginning (November) and being proactive, now (late January) we found out there in fact is an internal problem. If this simple action was done in the beginning, the right way, the problem would have been taken care of and if they would have treated him right they would have continue to be his vet, however they do not care. I can't say enough wonderful things about this staff and facility. We have 8 pets and take all of them there, as needed, and they care for each one wonderfully. I recently lost my beloved cat Tango, and they were so helpful in helping me coordinate a cremation for him. We also have a teacup breed dog and a giant breed dog. They have monitored the growth of both dogs with the utmost knowledge and care. I will always continue bringing our pets here and highly recommend them to everyone! Read Less

This place maybe first come, first serve, but its low cost (you know actually affordable), VERY clean, VERY helpful, and always friendly. The wait times aren't terrible but there is usually a wait. People are usually friendly and inquisitive about your pets. If you're in need of a good, cheap vet, consider the drive here worth it.Read Less

Multiple friends recommended Primary Pet Care to me for routine tests, vaccinations, etc. They charge half the price of my old vet and their service is great. Highly recommend them for your vet needs. They do not provide more complicated services such as dental cleaning, so you will need a secondary vet for things like that. Bottom line: great service and low prices for routine tests, vaccinations, heart worm/flea/tick preventatives. Read Less
