I absolutely love Dr. Flathers and her staff! They are all such amazing caring people. You can honestly tell that they are all very passionate about their career and about the pets they treat! Angel Animal Hospital is a wonderful full service veterinary facility. I have a very difficult cat and Dr. Fisher and the staff work with me adjusting appointments as needed and giving me assistance and tips for handling her. They are one of the only vets who will groom cats. This isn't just a matter of how she looks, but also reduces gastric issues. They are also very attentive after care answering questions and making sure she is doing well. They provide a very high quality care for my feline companion. Read Less

I will never return to this office . I called for a possible same day appt on a Saturday due to my dog itching for over a week and starting to worry after an adventurous day on the town. They agreed to see me same day as an emergency cost and pay a 90$ visit fee for appt, I agreed since my dog is very important to me . All started off well with vet tech and then I heard the doctor approaching and probing vet tech for questions outside the door . As the doctor walked in the room and proceeded to have the vet tech lay down a bath rug that looked to have been stained from dog urine soiling  - (when getting  a glimpse of the bottom of it) as she was laying it down and proceeding to put my dog on it to start the exam.  Dr fisher starts the exam by doing a simple health examination abruptly, which was kind of overwhelming to my dog. When proceeding to take my dogs temperature my dog growled at her and acted as if she was going to snip at her . Dr fisher grabs a muzzle from the drawer and was going to put it on my dog. I explained I was not ok with that refused ad asked to hold my dog bc she was anxious,. Dr fisher informed me only vet techs are aloud to hold the dogs. My dog is a very sweet 7 lb Yorker and very gentle , I do not feel the dog was addressed properly and felt over whelmed . After refusing the muzzle the doctor leaves the room and comes back w a large vet tech women proceeds to tell me recommended treatment I explained to her that I felt the issue for why I was there was not addressed and when inquiring about my main concern of being there  (poss skin mite). Dr  fisher explained she would have to take her to another room for such procedure , then proceeds to grab my dog and  rake a flea comb through her thighs where my CC of itching was . As I stated earlier my dog was feeling overwhelmed and with out asking permission or assessing the dog before proceeding with any procedures . If such things would have been , I would of been able to explain my dog does not like to be approached from the back side or have her thighs brushed and will act slightly aggressive but will do no harm. When the raking with the flea comb began my dog again grower and reached back and that is when the large vet tech quickly ripped my dog of the table and into a forceful hold around the neck . I then expressed that I was not ok with how such things where handled. (Tension was in the air immediately after refusing the muzzle and could tell by how things started to progress with dr fishers attitude) I feel Dr fisher moved way too quickly and didn't properly address concerns of me or my dog.  When expressing I did not like how my dog was treated with large vet tech ripping my dog of the table , Dr fished stated the large vet tech was a trained and licensed vet tech and is recommended by the kennel Association to do such procedures i.e.- muzzle and forceful holding and left the room quickly and never seen again . I signed a refusal of recommended treatment which was for a steroid shot and pills for possible allergy and told I would have to come back if it didn't help.  **Long story short- it was a terrible and extremely expensive experience for a "quick health assessment"  and my chief complaint for my visit was not addressed and I will never return.**** if you are looking for a good veterinarian office on the westside of Columbus . I highly recommend Westside animal clinic on Sullivant avenue . I have been taking all my animals there for years and would have today  if W.A.C had longer hours on Saturday.  I have never had one bad experience and always enjoyed every experience there . Dr Tony at Westside animal clinic is great!!  He takes his time coming in , he addresses your concerns and gets to know and asses your dog gently to make your animal feel comfortable before starting and overwhelming your animal. The prices are also great , You can not go wrong with the service you receive a with Westside Animal Clinic ! Read Less

Our German Shorthaired Pointer, Gracie, was just not herself. She was very lethargic, not eating and it was obvious that she didn't feel well at all. The vet that we had gone to before, was just too far away since we moved to Galloway. I looked on Yelp and saw the great reviews that Angel Animal Hospital had and it was so close to our home. We called Angel and they got us in immediately. The amount of empathy and kindness that they showed to us was amazing. Gracie seemed to just have a really bad tummy ache and is recovering nicely. I'm happy that we have found such a great place to care for Gracie. Read Less

So.. my folks took their cat there because it was close to home, he had saddle thrombus, really painful for the cat, poor prognosis for any cat...yet before they would help the poor soul, they made my parents feel like paperwork and a few hundred bucks for a deposit was FAR more important ..while I totally get securing funds, the way they made my parents feel was inexcusable. Also had similar feedback from a few others who have visited there once we started asking around. My parents left there after such treatment and brought him to my work, (I am an RVT) where he was given pain meds, made comfortable, talked to over options, and ultimately euthanized, --- but get this...for a fraction of the cost that they were forced to shell out before Angel Animal would even administer treatment, AND with no one throwing paperwork and demanding money before they'd help their baby. SO sad. Triage your patients first people. One mg of torb wont break the bank. Make people feel like they and their pets matter. YOU didnt today! Very disappointed. Read Less

Too much money, they charged me 472 dollars and my dog still sick and losing weight a week later. Angel Animal Hospital on Galloway Rd is not good. Plus they never even told us what's wrong with him. Go elsewhere! Read Less

This vet was very nice but I felt like I was being taken advantage of the two times I'd been there. I had to leave a beloved vet's office after moving and I had never been charged the outrageous amount this office charged me or been told that my dogs "needed" the things this office told me. I keep reading they cost no more than the next vet, but I highly disagree. They charge alot and I don't feel like they listen to your concerns. Just want you to spend spend spend. I highly recommend to research other offices before taking your pet here. One certain test my dog needed was 75% more here than another vets office less than 5 miles away. Consumer beware of this vets office. I wish I would have known this sooner. Read Less
