After having pets for a while, I realize that this place really wasn't a cost effective option for me and my lovelies. I feel slightly taken advantage of, due to my lack of knowledge, and concern for my cats when I'm taking them to the vet. Everyone here was kind, just a bit too elitist for my taste. I want to give this vet clinic a great shout out for their caring, compassionate, friendly, and helpful staff towards myself and especially my injured dog. This is not my regular vet clinic (my vet is on a well deserved vacation) but my dog had injured his leg. I called Owen's Ark Vet Clinic and they worked us in within the hour. We took our dog in to get her teeth cleaned and some pulled. They explained everything they were going to do thoroughly and called to let us know how she did.When we went to pick her up,they had a detailed diagram showing which teeth they pulled and why. Excellent care from the vet and staff. They remember my dog's name more than mine which shows how much they care. They are super happy to work with you. I was always worried about the cost of vet bills and this place has super low rates for checkups. Now grant it, medications are a little pricey but even they suggest OTC meds if the price is difficult. I love going there with my dog. They encourage the owners to just stop by with their pets to say hi and get a treat! The place is small and cozy. I would rather go here then some giant vet place that is nasty and loud. I could go on and on, but Owen's Ark is definitely the place I recommend for your pets. Read Less

Just moved to the area Friday. My cat had been sick and the move proved too much stress for Louie's 14-yr old self. I gave him the weekend, but he only got worse. Took him to Owen's Ark and they refused to put him find ONLY because we had no medical history there. My cat was suffering and we had to call around while on the side of the road.
