Groveport Animal Clinic

Groveport, Ohio
General Info
Groveport Animal Clinic is a Groveport-based veterinary practice dedicated to comprehensive, compassionate pet care. Situated in Groveport, United States, the clinic is renowned for its reliable approach to animal health and professionalism. The experienced staff provides personalized wellness plans, regular check-ups, and various treatments targeted at the unique needs of each pet. Services often include Parasite Prevention, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Bloodwork, Microchipping, Emergency Care, and Wellness Exams. These well-coordinated treatments focus on preventing and managing diseases in pets. The clinic is well-equipped, and the animals do not feel nervous during visits, which affects the correctness of diagnosis and the results of treatment. Clients praise the attentive and caring nature of the veterinary staff. Groveport Animal Clinic is continuing to grow as an important and cherished part of the local pet community. Whether you are helping your young pets get a healthy start or your older ones navigate chronic conditions, the professionals in this clinic will always help. This dedication to continuous learning and advancement in veterinary medicine is a testament to their passion for animal welfare. This ensures that every pet receives the highest quality of care. It is dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership and strives to engage the community in actively supporting local pet families. Groveport Animal Clinic in Groveport starts pet care with sensory calibration rather than medical charts. Pet owners across Ohio need to learn how to identify the signs and aid their pets in getting accustomed to the environment. The first interaction between people always occurs through nonverbal communication. Prior to conducting any tests, they observe the position of the tail and body for hesitation and micro-responses. Adjustable lighting and scent settings in each room also prevent the startle reflex from being triggered. Appointments are scheduled on a pet’s regulation basis. Some practitioners begin their assessment by performing orthopedic tests, while others do a basic scan based on the tension patterns they notice. Groveport Animal Clinic offers diagnostic and laboratory services, as well as illness, orthopedic, dermatological, and dental care. Examinations sometimes skip steps or perform them out of order when signs like lip licking, paw withdrawal, and gaze shifting are detected. Pain indicators rely “more on posture and breathing than vocalization”. This is important for pain assessment in stoic breeds and prey species. It is advisable to perform re-acclimation after the treatment. The families’ briefing contains information about behavioral responses that linger beyond the traumatic event, secondary stress signs to watch for and situations where decompression needs should take priority. Through personalization, home care plans target the pet’s sensory aspects rather than merely physical recovery indicators. Groveport Animal Clinic empowers Ohio families to have a veterinary experience that goes beyond basic care and has a more conversational approach that interprets animal signals of comfort, confusion, and calm.

Dr. Tancred and his partner Dr.Franklin have been our vets through 4 dogs and 3 cats. They have helped ease the stress of losing our beloved malamute Conan aftr caring for him for 12 years and our beloved cat Kiki after 23 years. They helped us through the unexpected loss of our little Chorkie, Sophie in Feb at just 5 years old. Now we are facing losing anther friend, Zoe who is our last big dog. They have always done everything in their power to keep them and us going. I would trust them with any pet I have and I would absolutley recommend them for your vet needs. The vet techs and the office staff are also knowledgeable and caring. You really can't go wrong here. Read Less

Tanya very quickly dismissed me then made off color remark that i overheard, about me and my dog to the other nurses. At which point the other nurses laughed out loud. They have wonderful, courteous staff, and Dr. Franklin is about as nice and professional as they come! I've compared their prices to other vets close to my house and they are hands down the lowest price - plus, the give a Military discount! They are also wonderful in handling walk in emergencies (ones that aren't life or death situations) - my dog was bit on the face by another dog and we showed up in the morning without even calling first and they saw her right away and took wonderful care of her. We have always taken our small animals here to see Dr Tancred not only for health services, but for boarding as well.  The staff is friendly and caring and every time I came to pick up my dog from boarding, the staff seemed to have her out and playing with her.  They were very accommodating with bringing our own food and toys to make our pets comfortable.  Most telling was when we had to put down our dog and the staff was amazing.  They took care of all the arrangements ahead of time so we could spend as much time with her afterward as we needed and could just walk straight out the door without having to worry about anything.  Would highly recommend!
