Had an emergency on a Sunday(which almost every vet is closed)!! Went to Dr.Kramer with my first dog. Thought my dog had swallowed a battery. They got her admitted within a quickness, did xrays and come to find out it's parvo! :( I know Dr.Kramer will take good care of her! She keeps it honest and won't dig into your pocket with unnecessary testing. She has dealt with my crazy aunt who had like 20 dogs at one point. So I hope she looks past haha. Took my dachshund/jack russell mix for a check up prior to a cross country move and they were great! My dog HATES going to the vet, but they handled her so well. They explained that having me in the room might be encouraging her to struggle while receiving shots, so they took her to another room and she did much better. They even prescribed some meds for travel so she'd relax more during our move. The visit, 3 vaccinations, and prescription were only around $85. Read Less

I have to agree with Rebecca Cepluch. We have been going to Dr. Kramer for 13 years. Loyalty seems to go no where with them. My wife and her family have been using her for a long time as well. When our dog had emergency they could not see her for they claimed they were to short staffed and could not see her. We then called other Vets and one told us they were busy, but they would squeeze us in. The other minor thing is we have sent a email to them about our concern on Monday evening and as of Wednesday morning we have not received a response. We really like Dr. Kramer as a vet, but to me some of the customer service is lacking. Especially when you have been so loyal. Since this posting Dr. Kramer has contacted me about how upset we were. She gave me a good explanation why they have instructed us to use another vet and from what she said makes sense. It does show me that she cares about the pet. Now I did give her the thrid star for that reason. I hate to say with heading to the other Vet our chances of staying there are high. I be honest it does sound like the staff could use a little training on answering the phones and so on. Read Less

My dog cut herself quite badly yesterday (Sunday of course). They got her in and examined within 1/2 hour. Took about 2 hours for them to sedate and suture her and then ready to go home. Thankful for the quick and professional treatment as I was not a regular patron. I would recommend them highly. Read Less

25 minutes on hold to be told they can see my sick dog Thursday! After I spent 25 minutes on hold listening to how much they care about our animals and get told this?? Dr Kramer is the best and never had issues like this in the past! Not sure what has changed and I have no issues with making "well check up" but forget it when my animal is sick! Read Less

Dr Kramer is the absolute best vet anywhere!! We moved to Florida 6 years ago however, we have flown back up twice for our Maltese to have bladder stone surgeries. I would never trust anyone else to operate on one of my babies. She took care of both of my Akitas and was so compassionate when it was time for them to take their final breaths. I adore Dr Kramer but since her daughters took over the front it appears to be a small nightmare! They are rude and when I ask a question I was told they were discontinuing my relationship! Never missed a bill being paid on the spot and been loyal since 2008 when I met her! Since my bad experience and asking friends where they go (trying to find a new vet) I have had 4 different people tell me they had the same bad experiences there also and left because of these girls rudeness. Harrison is a small community and the bad word is spreading fast so it's a shame but it looks like they are driving her out of business as she used to be the most reasonable priced around. I now hav my 3rd and 4th boxer that hav been treated here. They r very friendly, knowledgeable about dogs. They helped me w my first 2 boxers that had to b put down f health reasons. Helped by walking me thru getting financing, burial arrangements, etc. I don't know if I would hav gotten any more rescues if it wasn't f the way we were treated there. We checked into Harrison Animal Hospital with Onyx yesterday morning. Dr. Kramer spayed her and had a really good experience with the whole team. Dr. Kramer is a great doctor and can tell she wants the best for her patients. In 2012, she diagnosed another dog of ours with lymphoma and she was spot on. After 2 biopsies at another vet's office, they couldn't determine but Dr. Kramer knew by just looking at our dog. She is a no nonsense doctor who was straight up with us. Dr. Kramer didn't push expensive treatments with us when concerning the lymphoma. I can't say enough about the positive experiences we've had with her team. Read Less

Such a shame - I love Dr Kramer but the last 2 years have been a downward spiral as it pertains to good customer front end service. Example - I went to get my records today as I work hard for my money and enough of being treated like garbage! My dogs were vaccinated on June 29th (there) and the "daughter" tells me they were out of date and needed them again. I Remarked "well I paid for them back on 6/29 so they better have gotten them!" Remarkable - they admitted the records were incorrect but it was not the daughter admitting it someone else stepped in to assist me. Then in front of me she asks if they "had" to provide my two animals records to me! Been going there for over 10 years and this is how poor service level has gotten to. Pathetic and to think - the records were requested 8 days ago and supposedly they sent them to me via fax. Obvious they did not do so. If you can't be trusted - you don't deserve my business!Read Less

Every single time I call I'm placed on hold right away. I understand they are busy but perhaps they should look into a larger staff! Most times, I end up disconnecting the call due to 10 min hold time. Staff is rude and has ignored us when in the waiting room and when standing right in front of them. Again, I understand they are busy but a little acknowledgement goes a long way (I'll be right with you, or really anything would do) The actual vet was so, so. Prices on vaccines were very reasonable. That is the only reason we drove out of our way for this vet. Not sure we will stay. They have proven, ya yet what you pay for :/ Read Less
